Matthew 11
“And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.”
_______
The chapter before this was 10, and before that 9— which spoke to Jesus’ demonstration of what the Son of man can do in the earth when moving in authority and power by union with the Spirit of the living God and his Father; and this was due to his affiliation with the Righteous God— in alignment— which caused him to walk as ‘one’ with the Righteous God, given in service to the Righteous God and his righteous kingdom. And in this— he was given authority over all evil spirits, and to heal all manner of sickness and disease, as well as forgive or dismiss sins (because it is the Righteous God within him— that does his works through him).
Then— in chapter 10, over ‘the 12’ (not the 70, but the chosen 12 who studied intensely under him, in whom he appointed) —he gifted them, he gave them (because they were moving with him in this life, and studying under him intensely)... he gave them ‘power’ over unclean spirits and all manner of disease and sickness. And power (in the Strong’s bible concordance) means…
G1849 - Power
Greek: ἐξουσία
Transliteration: exousia
Pronunciation: ex-oo-see'-ah
Definition: From G1832 (in the sense of ability);
privilege —that is (subjectively) force,
competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely as a magistrate (one who judges rightly) superhuman (ascended human, supra being from above), delegated influence: authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.
KJV Usage: power (69x), authority (29x), right (2x), liberty (1x), jurisdiction (1x), strength (1x).
And it is to be noted… This is what is meant by ‘commanding his 12.’ He was commanding (that’s a headship role), his governmental bodies (the number 12) of those he was literally able to govern— who gave themselves to him in all ways of will to do so. These are those who shall move with Messiah (Son of man who was actually walking as Son of God in union within the earth) and the Spirit of the Lord— to do the will of the (their) Father— as well: it is a certain kind or type of person: given to him in full: these are they he is able to ‘command,’ or lead.
He is giving us spiritual insight here concerning what is ‘power,’ and ‘how is’ power come into or carried out from the kingdom of ‘God’ —when in alignment and union, under God, to serve God— in the earth or souls of men in this realm.
First we learn that Jesus walked in this (as demonstrated in chapter 9 of Matthew); then we see he’s attempting to teach us of this union— as he addresses his disciples ‘and’ the Pharisees or religious crowd that ‘ought to’ know and understand this knowledge of God as well. Then, in chapter 10 he ‘gifts’ or ‘supplies,’ or ‘gives’ his disciplined ones (that’s a reference to training and being disciplined in such training, carrying it out within them)... He gives them power; and power is…
The ability, privilege of the force of God, competency of this ability— in freedom, in mastery— as one who judges rightly (a magistrate), in the way of moving spiritually (a super, or supra-human, and ascended— a taught or matured in righteousness and ways of) person— born from above; whom he delegates— that means an authorized person given to represent and influence; who shall move in authority (his— as he leads them), jurisdiction— this is reference to the places and reach that a person shall move in his authority, liberty, power/strength and right to do so.
And all because one has joined to the Lord God, to serve the Lord God, to reverence the Lord God— in the ways of God, the truth he lives in righteousness, and unto living within his very person— led of his very person— on the ‘narrow way,’ which is a conduct and person (God himself as the headship, the teacher, the leader, the reprover, the one who reforms and aligns us, and Fathers us in his very person— to become, to sprout up as, to be offspring shoots on his vine from the root of the Father himself— his children who return to him to honor him and become as he is— in the earthen realm of the eternal soul in the heart of man (where spirit and soul join).
Any man who shall do this with him— shall come into him— into the knowledge of him, the intimate knowing of him in his ways, person, and righteousness (truth walked in). These are governed by him and are ‘his 12,’ or his ‘12s,’ if you will: those who are given to him completely to serve his person (and that means righteousness, he as the headship, the mind, the lessons, the character, the way, the life): the literal 12 apostles are examples to us— not the 70— the 12— are showing and teaching us in spiritual understanding… that when a man is coming into being fully led of God, in union with God, walking in righteousness; and is given grace, power, authority, ability, competency and training in the Son… he will come forth as an ascended supra-human (or, one moving from above, not below) and will walk as a delegated influence in the spirit… who is given jurisdictional (in spiritual understanding) authority over unclean spirits and all manner of corruption (sickness and disease)... unto the demonstration of this ‘power’ in the earth… unto the salvation of men: where men meet God in a witness.
This is all available to the man who joins, or aligns, under the headship of God, in the ways of God lived, and are given to loving God (this is an obedience reference to him being able to command them/lead them), as he asked us to: it is the fruit proofs of what shall show forth— miracles, signs, and wonder— when a man is joined to God in truth, in Christ Jesus.
I say all of this— so that we understand what he is about to bring them all into of revelation in chapter 11, as well: not just what the Son of man (Jesus/Messiah) can do of himself— but what those ‘in’ him, studying ‘under’ him to show themselves approved of him, his way, and life in truth— can do with and through him— when one is given to him and his way, character, principles, headship, teachings, and person: to show what those ‘in’ him (which means joined to him to give themselves to serving him entirely) can do in the earth, too, as led of him; and as his very life source and force and person comes forward to work the Father’s works in the earth— unto the will of the Father unto the kingdom of God in exaltation and demonstration in the realm of the earth, unto human souls.
Because in this chapter he will reveal a bit more about heavenly warring, it’s relationship to what we ‘see’ (which means observe and understand) manifesting (which means showing forth, or revealed) in this realm— in the lives of men; and what he is implying of ‘spiritual’ understanding (not carnal, for carnal mindsets and wisdom is lower than that of him (he who is supra himself— or above and beyond). He is attempting to lead us in the Spirit by the mind of the Spirit of God— in Jesus Christ). Carnal understanding is superficial, it correlates to earthly things, not heavenly things; and we cannot ‘move’ in the Spirit with God— lest we are joined or married to his Spirit, led of his Spirit— in his mind, his command, his knowledge, his understanding, wisdom, and counsels (his headship): as he is the head, with the mind, knowledge, understanding/awares, wisdom, and counsels of God— given unto us: let this mind be in you— that was in Christ Jesus: the mind of the Spirit of God and his Father.
Carnal understanding is surface level— like a tree is a tree.
Spiritual understanding is that a tree in scripture, in spiritual understanding, is a person. And we must see and hear what the ‘Spirit’ is showing and saying… not the carnal mind, but the mind of the Spirit of the living God: who speaks to us in mysteries.
All messages and teachings of God— are unto this: gaining spiritual understanding, as well as coming out of carnal understanding, and out of the carnal mind.

“Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said unto him— Are you he that should come, or do we look for another?”
_______
This verse always saddens me, but also I take comfort in it. For the Lord God is direct with us all— but gentle in his lessons and teaching. John, who is a forerunner— one anointed in the womb and unto God himself in Spirit— is confused and/or doubting; likely from where he finds himself (in Herod’s prison awaiting a death sentence for preaching and witnessing his union with the Truth); and Jesus reassures him gently, but directly— as he points to the ‘proofs’ he would desire of John to remember.
Many of us, I would believe, can relate to this… what John is going through… as he has his reservations or doubts— due to what he is experiencing and going through in his life. And yet— he is right where he is supposed to be, going through what he is supposed to go through (even his soul life in jeopardy), having paved the way for the Lord’s arrival as Messiah who has come to us all; even though it looks as if God has let him down, or isn’t who he thought he was— based on his life circumstances.
I take heart in that common plight of man— toward our heavenly Father. Sometimes we think God doesn’t see us or love us, or care; but in reality— it is because he does, and has chosen us unto himself— that we shall face trying circumstances in this life— when we align with him and his truth: and if we shall lose our lives for him— we shall gain his life, and union to his life— eternally. John is facing this… and Jesus is going to reassure him that he is who he has said, shown, and demonstrated— take heart my brother: you have been led of the Messiah; you are loved; you are heard, and seen, and chosen of God and his purposes— no matter what earthly circumstances you find yourself within and experiencing: it is all to the glory of God.

“Jesus answered and said unto them— Go and show John again those things which you hear and see (the things they are witnessing): (that) The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And (also tell him) blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
_______
He is so gentle: Go witness to John (once again remind him) that I am he: who gives clear sight to the blind, a steady walk— to the lame, who cleanses the filthy cleaning them up, who gives cleared up hearing (spiritual references, displayed in carnal or physical healings) to those who could not hear nor align with God in their hearing before; as well as I am he who raised dead people to life again, and he who brings the good news of union to God and his righteousness to all men.
And tell John to not be offended in me. Do not stumble in displeasure of me; and in that— you shall be a blessed man.
Because offended means:
G4624 – offended
Greek: σκανδαλίζω
Transliteration: skandalizō
Pronunciation: skan-dal-id'-zo
Definition: To scandalize; from G4625; to be entrapped— that is trip up (figuratively stumble [transitively] or be enticed to sin in apostasy or displeasure): - (make to) offend.
KJV Usage: offend (28x), make to offend (2x).
He was ‘gently’ correcting John, reminding John, and giving John proofs; so that he could be strengthened in his lot he would go through, his cup he had to walk out in the earth, too, just like Jesus himself; that would lead to his physical death as well.
But John SAW the kingdom of God unto men— before he would face death: this is the greatest witness one can witness in the earth: when the kingdom of God has come unto them within power and demonstration amongst men (to each of us to witness his life in power and demonstration in our lives— as he comes to us— and we join him in his life: we align with him).
_______
7-10
“And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John— What did you go out into the wilderness to see— A reed shaken with the wind? What did you go out to see— A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. But— what did you— go out to see? A prophet? Yes— and I say unto you— more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written— Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.”
_______
So many great nuggets of truth and insight from above in this. He asks the people if they were expecting to see a pampered life— like a king lives— when they went out to see the one who is sent to pave the way for the true King of kings. He states— a prophet is not one living a pampered life, nor one who backs down easily from the truth— no matter what he faces; for his life is to walk in the truth, proclaim the truth (and he’s a person, as John paved the way for him, he prepared the people for his arrival in righteousness); and he was not like a reed tossed to and from instability in his walk with righteousness, the preaching of righteousness (which is spiritual truth lived of God), nor the exemplification of being united with righteousness; as he was given to serving the person of righteousness (even if he faltered/staggered/stumbled for a moment of weakness; for he was restored in the Word of God unto him).
Jesus states— you will know my prophets— if you understand this spiritual insight: they are not pampered, do not back down from service to righteousness or the person of truth— no matter what life throws at them (the adversary/adversity); and didn’t you go out to see just that??!! What is, and who is— a forerunning, pioneering, messenger of God— who is sent forth into the earth to pave the way for the King of Righteousness’ arrival??
Indeed— you went to see this in him: a prophet of the Lord God in demonstration; and I say to you— he is MORE than a prophet of God. He is the very one who was called forth to pave the way for Me. It is he who was prophesied about, directly, when it was said… Behold, I (the Lord God) send my (very own heralding) messenger before your face (Jesus’ face as Son of man who came to be Messiah Savior), (and it is he) who shall prepare your way (Jesus’ way or path) before you.
He is saying— John IS A PROPHET OF GOD, but he is MUCH, MUCH more than just this: he is the one who was sent forth to pave the way for my arrival: the Messiah’s arrival, the Lamb’s arrival, the Sacrificial one for all of creation’s arrival— who shall unify life unto God the Father once again. And he is ‘showing’ or ‘manifesting/revealing/witnessing’ the path before your faces: that of righteousness coupled with within a man, by and through union with the Holy Spirit of God, demonstrated with fruit proofs of— in unified actions, beliefs, character, and ways— in alignment with God the Father himself: YahShua, Yeshua, Jehoshua, Jesus the Christ.
This is he who is not only ‘a’ prophet, but THE prophet, forerunner, and chosen messenger of the Lord God, who would come forward to introduce— The Way, Truth, and Life— to all men throughout time.
And folks— THAT’S CHOSEN— isn’t it!!!
And so— look at what he was ‘chosen’ to walk out; look at all of it. Yes— a grand role to pave the way and witness, but also— a hard lot or cup to walk out: this is to be noted of the walk of any prophet messenger of God who comes to do the very same with John— introducing the world to The Way of God, the Truth of God, the Person of God: he shall not have a pampered, easy, without trials and adversity life; but one of testing and hardship, a difficult lot or cup in life to walk out; but also— one, like Yeshua himself— walks in intimate union with God in heaven and earth: this is a temporal AND eternal reward: and God— is his portion.
He is reminding John (and all other ‘Johns’) of all of this: and asking him to have courage and confidence in the perfect will of God— even when it seems as if it doesn’t make sense: because he IS, who he SAYS, he is: and he continually demonstrates this to all men.

“Verily I say unto you, Among them who are born of women there has not risen a greater [G3187: larger or elder] one than John the Baptist: notwithstanding [G1161: but, moreover now] —he that is least [G3398: smallest in dignity] in the kingdom [G932: rule and realm] of heaven [G3772: the elevation (spiritual reference and location), power, and the eternal space— and specifically related to the gospel] is greater [G3187: larger or elder] than he.
_______
Okay, what is the Word attempting to speak to us in this (in spiritual understanding) about how great the position of John was called to be, what he was called to walk out and do toward God in earthly service, being anointed to do and be so… and what that high calling in the earth looks like compared to those who move in the heavens as spiritual beings with him (beyond this realm).
Well, first he shows us that amongst human beings— there has not come forth one who was raised up by the Father and Spirit— in greater alignment with God, or more elder in the gospel itself— than John the Baptizer…. Except….
When considering the people who abide with God in spiritual bodies, in the kingdom of heaven…. Or in the realm and rule of the celestial (not terrestrial) elevation, moving in that power and eternal spaces (heavens) …in the place where the gospel is fought out in warfare, or accomplished in union in the spirit…
All who move in this realm, the elevated spiritual realm that concerns the gospel and union with the gospel, moving as powerful spiritual beings (not terrestrial beings, human beings, dirt bodied beings, but spirits)...
Even the smallest in dignity or the reign of Christ unto them all— is greater than all that John walked out in the earth; and he was the greatest one raised up by the Father and the Spirit (outside of, or before Jesus the Christ— who came to roll out the red carpet exaltation of him, of whom he said— he was not worthy to deal with his sandals— which is reference to what he walks in and out— is greater than he, John)… in righteousness and the gospel in wholeness with the Father.
There is One elder than he… in Christ Jesus… and all those in Christ Jesus, even the least of them… is elder to him… while he’s still in body (they know more, have come into more, and aligned and served Christ, union with the Father, Son, and Spirit— more than he in his earthly life). And he had a VERY exalted, or honored and blessed life in the earth— given him of God.
The Word of God (Jesus) is attempting to show us the power of spirit and spirit alignment (joining in union, that’s like/same in exaltation) with him— in the gospel. And soon— he will explain that when we won’t, or don’t— it causes violence to the kingdom of heaven… which we detailed out means: the spirit realm and rule of the celestial (not terrestrial) elevation, that moves in spiritual power in eternal spaces (heavens) …in the place where the gospel is fought out in warfare, or accomplished in union in the spirit… all who move in the heavenly realm concerning kingdoms— thrones, powers, dominions, and princes… over the gospel— or the Messiah, Way, Truth, and Life of God— in union with and over man’s eternal life.
Now, the next section I have differed with the broad church on this in the past, and he has continued to teach me according to this differentiation of spiritual understanding that most of Christianity believe in what the spiritual understanding is. Now— this is not a salvation issue, just a teaching doctrinal issue or discrepancy (difference) about and concerning ‘violence,’ in heaven. And ultimately— I actually believe we are all in agreement to and in the truth; though I believe we have ‘viewed’ or perceived, or spoken things slightly differently about ‘violence’ in heaven(s). I shall bring forth what he has spoken, taught, and exemplified of his own life. I leave it all to you and to work through and by his Spirit, and his Spirit’s mind and understanding of knowledge, language— and contextual usage, and his counsels and wisdom unto you.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until [G2193: all the way till ] now the kingdom [G932: rule and realm] of heaven [G3772: the elevation (spiritual reference and location), power, and the eternal space— and specifically related to the gospel] suffers violence [G971: forced power, encroaching, and seizure— by pressing] —and the violent [G973: those who force energetically (spiritually)] take it by force [G726: powerful seizure, plucking it away].
All the prophets [G4396: poetically inspired speakers] —and the law [G3551: general regulation, principle law (meaning how man was governed in what lessons and parameters given him in old law) ] —prophesied [G4395: spoke under inspiration (of God) and exercised the office of] until [G2193: all the way till ] John. And if you will receive it (this I say next) —this is Elijah, which was for to come. He that has ears to hear— let him hear.”
_______
Ok… let’s unpack this.
From the moment John began to preach and pave the way for Me until now… even now… the spiritual rule and realm of spiritual rule in the elevation or spirit (and this is both a location and state of being), where power is demonstrated in the eternal spaces… and is specifically related to the reign of Messiah in truth, ways, and life (the gospel)... suffers.
Let’s stop there… it suffers; which means— it is affected and experiences painful vexation (according to Strong’s G971 and to Strong’s G3958 of suffers).
So— something spiritual is happening, whereas something is now suffering in the realm of spirit— and it is being taken through the means of encroaching and seizure (which is to come close, crowd, and overpower another, by a pressing); and those who are doing this (the violent ones) are those who force energetically (spiritually) the weak— and pluck something away, seizing it, powerfully (or spiritually).
Now— I have heard many say— we are to ‘be’ the violent ones in the heavens causing violence, joining the violence and the violent— for the kingdom of God. But I have learned something a bit different; though I believe we are seeking, and on the same path— toward the spiritual understanding and positioning with YahShua— in point or premise; though, possibly, not recognizing a few spiritual references.
The Lord himself is the one dipped in blood conquests— and this is in spiritual understanding— not carnal or literal blood conquests; but victory in the spirit. And all violent spiritual conquests/victories are won in him and through his life.
He is spiritually victorious in taking back— through his submission to the Spirit of God and the Father— all power, dominion, thrones and princes: which means he reigns over them all; and all in him— shall be positioned with him in heavenly places in his person, victory, conquest, power, dominion, and authority over unclean spirits. This is a reference to the second heavens— where all spirits dwell (both God’s holy spirits working for and in conjunction to his will, person, and kingdom; as well as the dark kingdom and cohorts).
In the realm of spiritual matters and spaces— it suffers a loss: now to evil and darkness— suffering loss means it’s being overcome with the Light, power, righteousness, reign, and person of Jesus Christ, the Spirit, and the Father— as well as those working and moving with him as spirits. To suffer in consideration to God’s spiritual kingdom and people— is because man has alignments with darkness— and darkness has overcome; and hence the kingdom of God’s reign and people suffer: and it’s ALL— over the gospel: the life of Messiah, the Lamb, the righteousness, and the union with— in the lives of MEN.
Either— man in alignment, joined, and working within the person of Jesus Christ, his righteousness, love, truth, and ways— is overcoming in the heavens— and satan’s kingdom doth suffer violence…. OR … it is man who has partnered with satan— in alignment, joined, and working within the person of himself in a carnal nature (satan’s domain of influence), given to himself in headship and ways not as how God lives, nor giving reverence unto him: and in this— God’s reign (or kingdom) doth suffer violence.
And the violence is a — taking— through means of encroaching (coming close), overpowering (in influence and alignment), seizing (taking by force and even authority— due to alignment, these are legalities) —through a pressing (when we are tested or tried in the way, truth, and life).
And those who are the violent ones— are violent toward— the opposing kingdom: now— which kingdom that is to each man is determined by— what, and whom, this man will serve (in truth lived, or not).
And it is these violent ones (those who move energetically, or spiritually, with their kingdom and headship) who pluck something, take something, and seize it away.
Now— if we do this in alignment with God— we call it union and deliverance and healing and restoration— as we move as one with him; and in this we overcome satan; and we then become victorious in the heavens (spirit) where all violence is lived spiritually.
If we are in alignment with satan, and in union to his person and headship— bondage, locust, and cankerworm loss— and spiritual agreements of living— are unto satan (laws/conduct of satan upheld, a place found in us for him): and we see the result in the heavens of failed warfare strategies (with the coupling work of the host of heaven, or host of God’s kingdom army and their warring on behalf of God’s people); because God’s people are in bed (in spiritual ways in the earth actions and alignments) with satan/darkness/little god self and ways: and thus— the kingdom of God’s rule and reign in our lives and unto us— suffers violence: because now satan shall come and seize— or steal, kill, and destroy— what was meant for us in our inheritance as children of God.
All because we do not keep and guard the truth, the way, and the spiritual life alignment with Jesus— whilst in body in the earthen souls of men.
Either— we are seizing back what satan stole from our union with God through our aligning with God in the way, truth and life of him— in union; and thus— recovering that which was stolen, destroyed, or killed in and of us in union with God. Or… we are failing to come into this union of exaltation of righteousness and his person and ways within our eternal souls; and it is God’s people who suffer the second heavens warring violence.
Either way— the people who move with God in true exaltation of his person, in union with his way, truth, and life— shall overcome the dragon— by the blood (the life) of Jesus, as they live from within him, unto him, in union, and he in them the same— leading them in the will of the Father.
And those who will not— will suffer loss, and not regain what the locust ate or canker worm destroyed— or the promises in power and authority; for they would not align spiritually to the Lord Jesus Christ— in the way, truth, and his life of righteousness, exalted in man— in his spirit given to God and reformed— leading his soul life in the earth: and hence— the heavens suffer this violence— from the moment John came forward with paving the way for the Lord— even till now.
And the violent— seize things— by force: either stolen from us, or returned to us (with help from spiritual beings, angels, and host beings); either of and for God’s kingdom, or satan’s.
Whom do we serve in the spirit, and truth?
Because I have learned we become the ‘proper form’ of violent ones— when we understand ‘meekness,’ and we are immersed in it. For it couples with humility, righteousness, service to God, alignment with his person (way, truth, conduct), fruit of his Spirit (gentleness, joy, peace, love, long-suffering people, patience, etc), headship, and love/obedience to him and his truth and way of life— and maturity of this union.
When this happens— we begin to take from the enemy kingdom ‘violently,’ or with force to seize ‘back’ what was taken: and we do that— through union with the Lord in truth, righteousness, meekness, humility, and gentleness (as this is a key fruit of His when we are in yoke to him; which we will discuss further down in this chapter).
When we become the proper form again, unified with his righteousness, truth, way, and his very life; then does his victorious self comes forth to deliver us, heal us, recover us— to the utmost— IN THIS LIFETIME AND REALM: not just ‘a some day’ after this soul life: RIGHT NOW!
Mark 10:29-30
“And Jesus answered and said— Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's …. That shall not receive a hundredfold— now— in this time— houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands— but with persecutions; and— in the world to come— eternal life.”
All the prophets, all the poetically inspired of God who spoke to us… as well as the law or general regulations (how we were to be regulated in actions), with principle-law (conduct as God governed us in what to do, and the parameters he set for us in conduct and actions) …. These….spoke under inspiration (of God) and exercised the services (office) of this… all the way until now, even John. Can we understand the spiritual understanding of what God is saying in all of this? For what comes next in the verse… should be noted: “And if you will receive it (this I say next) —this is Elijah, which was for to come. He that has ears to hear— let him hear.”
He’s calling us to KNOW that the spirit of Elijah has come, and you can know the spirit of Elijah upon an other person hence forth (including they said this about Jesus as well); for the person who’s spirit of Elijah (Yah is my God, not myself— which is what Elijah means) rests upon… will move, breathe, and find their being— doing the same as how John moved:
And Elijah never had an issue with being a spiritually violent one against the enemy of God (darkness) or the kingdom of hell (estrangement). He was HIGHLY successful— because he pleased God in his ‘alignment and service’ unto and with God. And GOD— did the spiritual violence in the heavens… in accordance with Elijah’s participation in the earth.
This we are to take note of: both John and Elijah, and also YahShua (Jesus), and others following after… moved in massive reverence to the Way, Truth, and Life of God, submitting, serving, and aligning to the kingdom of God’s furtherance in the earth: which came about with spiritual warfare success— born of gentle union with God himself in the personal life.
Matthew 3:1-3
“In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, and saying— Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying— The voice of one crying in the wilderness— Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”
This is all spiritual understanding: prepare your hearts, minds, alignments to spiritual truth within you for him to arrive and be honored… YOU… who are in a wilderness journey here, who need to turn back to him now— I herald his coming to all men to yoke them back to the Father of Lights: get straightened out on your paths in this soul realm… unto him and his Righteousness (Jesus, the Word incarnate).
Mark 1:3-4
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”
John’s life, and Jesus’ life walked out— is an example of what you will see in any other— who has the prophet Elijah’s spirit upon them— where Yah is their God, and one who is governed by God; and who is paving the way for the King to come through and be announced to all: the way, truth, and life.
And this one (anyone with his Spirit upon them) —shall not balk or turn from this path lightly— not to the left or to the right— straight ahead unto Christ Jesus, the Word of God, the most high God and his Father, Yah. His paths shall remain straight, fixed, adhered to— in his union and exaltation of the King and high Priest of his confession/profession— come— what— may (no matter what).
“And if you will receive it (this I say) —this is Elijah, which was for to come. He that has ears to hear— let him hear.”
Let’s continue on to see more about what life is like WITH union to the Son of God (YahShua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Christ), or what it is without union to him (as exemplified in the Pharisees and those who would not couple with his Spirit, life, way, or the truth, truly).

This is a spiritual reference to carnal men never satisfied, always walking in ignorance, not understanding spiritual things, and given to self worship— saying what they want to, thinking what they want to, moving from a lower realm of wisdom and knowledge— and reasonings of: and all the while it’s foolishness. This is what he is saying of this generation of hypocrites and the apostate or sons of perdition (ruin and wasting). And that whatever wisdom a man moves in (lower realm or upper elevation in Christ Jesus the Word of God) —God’s wisdom shall justify her own children. Meaning— it shall show or regard as innocent— her own children: this is a reference to God raising his children up in HIS wisdom, and one of the 7 spirits of God (his head-ship). But those of devilish wisdom are from below, carnal, and perishing; and shall not be justified at all.

“Then he began to upbraid [G3679: bring reproach to] the cities —wherein most of his mighty works were done— because they repented not.”
_______
OUCH. They would not turn to him in the spirit of them, nor reverence him— and they were found in some of the cities where his mighty supernatural and righteous works (miracles) were done. UGH. That’s a STRONG witness against them: for not only did they have his words and teachings— but his exemplification unto them: and they still would not align with God and his Spirit, way, or truth— in them: and moved in the heavens and earth— for the kingdom of darkness— and with violence. (They do kill him eventually. And that’s because they never knew him [didn’t join him] and served darkness in spiritual places: not in gentleness, kindness, joy, peace, long-suffering and patience, love and attributes of God— but that of satan.)
_______
21-22
“Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee— Bethsaida! For if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon— THEY WOULD HAVE REPENTED LONG AGO IN SACKCLOTH AND ASHES. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23-24
And thou— Capernaum, who art exalted unto heaven (lifted themselves up in the second heavens in affiliation with satan and dark ways), shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom— IT WOULD HAVE REMAINED UNTIL THIS DAY. But I say unto you— That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
_______
He’s upset— and rightfully so. All— was given to them, as it was to all men— to couple with God within, to uplift what was given in spiritual understanding in every scroll given them of the Holy Spirit inspired men scribing it all out— who walked in union with him in his ways, person, and truth.
He’s gentle— to and with his own. He’s violent— against hell; and these— were it, hell, represented in the earthen souls of men (temples); and he was declaring war against all such who shall move in heaven and earth against him and his kingdom of Light: life, righteousness, holiness, character becoming of God himself— and integrity of, attributes of his Spirit’s person come alive in men.
They were declaring outright war against the kingdom of God in heavenly violence, and would carry it out in earth. He was stating that at some point (maybe not right now), they would face him at the judgment; and he was prophesying to them directly (warning them of the future to come for them); and they knew it not: but it shall come to them all the same.
And he WITNESSED GOD’S KINGDOM TO THEM— HEAVILY— in their towns: no excuse will hold at judgement day before him. They couldn’t have been loved MORE— in how Jesus is presenting to them right here, right now, in this chapter: calling them to turn back, repent, for the kingdom ruling reign of God has come unto you— and you have been found wanting/lacking.
_______
25-26
“At that time Jesus answered and said— I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent (those who thought themselves to be— the hypocritical self-righteous— who were partnered with hell), and have revealed them unto babes (the humble who are learning in meekness unto God). Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.
27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, except the Father; neither does any man know the Father, except the Son— and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28-30
(So) Come unto me, all of you who labor and are heavy laden— and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you— and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
_______
He hides spiritual understanding from the haughty self-righteous… no matter if they call themselves by his name (superficially, or religiously): it’s what is lived in truth— do we live the name? And he reveals the hidden manna, the hidden mysteries are revealed and manifested to the children— the meek, humble, and ignorant who desire to study under him and be raised up by him.
And I’d like bring a strong focus to these last couple verses… all things are given to him of the Father, (and he gives to us through exaltation of him and union with him and his life), and no one can know the Father unless we get to know the Word of God, the truth, the way, his life— the life of the Savior/Messiah/High Priest and High King. For only he knows the Father— and in all he teaches— shall the Father (in his true format and person) be revealed to us— through the life of Jesus (as we study him— we shall know our Father and Creator).
As well, and VERY important are these last verses that close this chapter out: all who are burdened down and struggling— he will give you rest (to be quieted, at peace, and union relief)... WHEN… we shall yoke up with him.
This is a reference to join him (like a mated couple, two become one integrated and unified entity, as we give ourselves over to him in the temple: mind, soul, heart, spirit, inner man and faculties of— including conduct, character, beliefs, principles, words, actions, affiliations, concepts, reasons, etc).
THAT is when we shall understand how lightness and ease can come to us— when we shall actually yoke to the way, truth, and his life… because he will work hard as we are tied to him. And the yoke has a purpose, noted here in these verses— it teaches us: the yoke is for teaching— as he says— “put it on and learn of me.”
This is a reference to how his workmanship gets accomplished in us— it is when we yoke to the way, yoke to the truth, and yoke to these— in his very own life over us: worshiping God in spirit and truth.
And he says— he is meek [G4235: gentle and humble] and lowly [G5011: humble] in heart [G2588: thoughts and feelings (mind)].
He is— meek: gentle and humble (stooping low to us to lift us) in his thoughts and feelings (his mind) toward us.
And when we come into this— we shall find rest for our souls in the earth and eternal. For yoking to him— is easy unto our hearts, minds, souls— and what he asks of us in work (burden) is light.
Let me sit there for a second with you: light— literally, could, and does, mean— easy, as in the definition of G1645: meaning— to do life with him is not hard— if we are moving in his love and truth— for he will be gentle with us, and love us, and be kind to us, and long-sufferingly patient with us, and it shall be joy to him to make peace with us: easy— to do relationship with him in yoking.
But I’d also like to state— he says— “My yoke— is Light.”
And in this— we see we are to ‘yoke up with light,’ not darkness— and if we will— we shall violently take back what was taken from us in our righteousness, harmony with God, remaining in his love, peaceable with him again, unified in the way, truth, and life with God— that was stolen from us— when we ate of satan’s thoughts, ways/conduct, reasoning, beliefs, and estrangement from Light— into darkness.
When we yoke with him— we shall be brought into the light, and it will be an ease of relationship when we are brought into the truth (the light); and that is when we shall be quieted again within, and come into rest (into positional unity with God— at peace): when we bind ourselves to his life in truth, love, and peace made one toward another again in righteousness lived together: the kingdom of God WINS in this heavens warfare— in the earthen soul of man!
It’s always been about union— and union is a mated pair stuck together as one moving entity now, in him, under him in authority over us, serving his person— in the soul or earth. And THIS— is how we overcome darkness, the devil, estrangement, dis-ease, sicknesses, spiritual weakness, and defeat the dragon: our testimony of union with God as child, in ignorance— but learning… in humility under him… meekly walking in his righteous covering… getting cleaned up and ironed out— internally— in his life (the blood, the life of Jesus himself) in us.
THIS— is how violence is in the heavens, and why, and how we can overcome, win in victory in Christ, have him formed in us, and walk as sons of God in the realm of the souls of men in the earth.
I hope this blesses you and edifies you: he is gentle unto us— violent unto darkness; and desires us to walk in the light, as he is in the light.
Numbers 6:24-27
“The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
WE— are to put (which means ‘place’) —HIS NAME [And his name is the person of YahShua/Jesus the Christ, G3686: his character and authority of] upon US (this references something we are to do in yoking and unifying with and under him in truth lived and upheld) —we the people of Israel, the people of the Lord: and in this— he shall bless us.
It’s always in The Name: Some seek fortune, some seek fame…
but the children of GOD— seek his name.
(His name is his character, and exemplified through the person of Jesus— becoming established in them; and thus— unity with God in the way, truth, and life of God incarnate, in spiritual union, mated, consummated life with God— two— as one living being now— in temple: the house or vessel of the Lord: for he is with men now. And THIS— is how the gentle union with the King of Righteousness— causes violence to the kingdom of darkness— in the heavens; and how warfare— is successful in and with Jesus the Christ and high King and Magistrate).

The Lamb and Lion— in One
Lamb, usward to the children— Lion toward the kingdom of darkness— with a violent retrieval of all that was stolen, destroyed, or estranged (killed): the Lion and the Lamb make peace (man reconciled) through the laid down life in meekness and righteousness; and in he who now reigns supreme over all— returning all to us— in him now and/or forever!!
