1 “The book of the generation of Jesus [means— God is Deliverance] Christ [anointed]— the son of David [means— Beloved]— the son of Abraham [means— Father of a nation/multitudes].
______________
*Sentence: “God is deliverance, and anointed in love, to father a nation or multitude.”
______________
2 Abraham begat Isaac [laughter]; and Isaac begat Jacob [supplant, replace or follows]; and Jacob begat Judas [praised— comes from Judah] and his brethren [womb brothers]; 3 and Judas [praised] begat Phares [a breach] and Zara [glowing light/shining] of Thamar [date/palm tree]; and Phares begat Esrom [Dart of Joy]; and Esrom begat Aram [height/high region]; 4 and Aram begat Aminadab [my people are generous]; and Aminadab begat Naasson [oracle]; and Naasson begat Salmon [shalom/peace]; 5 and Salmon begat Booz [swiftness and strength] of Rachab [blusterer— person who causes trouble by indiscreet speech]; and Booz begat Obed [servant of God, worshiper] of Ruth [compassionate friend]; and Obed begat Jesse [the Lord exists].
______________
*Sentences: “The father of a multitude brings in laughter; and laughter follows praise, and the brothers of. Praise brings in a gap or breakthrough of shining light, and victory or triumph. A gap or breakthrough brings in a dart of joy, and joy brings in height. My people are generous, and oracles in shalom or peace; and peace brings in swift strength. Out of trouble came swift strength, that brought in service to God, and worship; a compassionate friend— the Lord exists.”
______________
6 And Jesse [the Lord exists] begat David [the beloved] the king [foundation of power, the sovereign]; and David the king begat Solomon [peace] of her that had been the wife of Urias [my light is Jehovah— Flame of God]; 7 and Solomon begat Roboam [an enlarged people]; and Roboam begat Abia [God is my father]; and Abia begat Asa [healer].
______________
*Sentence: “The Lord exists, the beloved, the king and foundation of power— the sovereign; and peace is the light in Jehovah— the Flame of God; my people are enlarged; God is my father, and my healer.”
______________
8 And Asa [healer] begat Josaphat [YHVY is judge, or has judged]; and Josaphat begat Joram [to cast, elevated, Jehovah is exalted]; and Joram begat Ozias [my power is YHVY, the Lord is my strength or power]; 9 and Ozias begat Joatham [perfection of Jehovah— Jehovah is perfect or complete]; and Joatham begat Achaz [one who possesses or takes]; and Achaz begat Ezekias [Hezekiah— strengthen, or God strengthens]; 10 and Ezekias begat Manasses [cause to forget]; and Manasses begat Amon [secret, faithful, roaring stream]; and Amon begat Josias [Jehovah helps].
11 And Josias begat Jechonias [God will fortify] and his brethren [womb brothers], about the time they were carried away to Babylon [confusion]:
_______________
*Sentence: “The healer who has judged, and was cast up, elevated and exalted is my power; the Lord is my strength and power. Jehovah is perfect, complete, and he possesses, he strengthens and causes us to forget (former things). Secret and faithful— Jehovah helps; God fortifies the womb brothers— who were confused.”
Fortify— provide defensive works as protection against attack, strengthen mentally or physically.
_______________
12 And after they were brought to Babylon [confusion], Jechonias begat Salathiel [asked of God]; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel [Zerubbabel— sown in Babylon (confusion), or seed of Babylon]; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud [the divine father is glory]; and Abiud begat Eliakim [God rises, establishes]; and Eliakim begat Azor [helper]; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc [Tsadok— just or righteous]; and Sadoc begat Achim [God will judge]; and Achim begat Eliud [God is my praise]; 15 and Eliud begat Eleazar [God has helped]; and Eleazar begat Matthan [gift or giving]; and Matthan begat Jacob [to supplant or follow]; 16 and Jacob begat Joseph [Jehovah shall add] the husband of Mary [Miriam— beloved], of whom was born Jesus [God is Deliverance], who is called Christ [anointed].
_______________
*Sentences: “In confusion, God fortifies— provides protection mentally and physically, when asked of God; sown in confusion— yet, the divine Father is glory (of notable achievements, magnificent and beautiful), he rises and establishes— he’s our helper. The just or righteous God— will judge; and he is my praise— he has helped; he has gifted and given, and what follows him, is what he shall add to his beloved— for God is deliverance, and anointed.”
_______________
17 So all the generations [revolutions of time] from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David —until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon— unto Christ —are fourteen generations.
_______________
10 = godly order, and 4 = creation; so, when creation is put in godly order.
So we can see that a full generational cycle of 14 revolutions occurs to bring his people into bondage, and a full generational cycle of 14 revolutions occurs to bring us FULL CIRCLE back to freedom/liberty in Christ.
_______________
[These facts below are numerical insights from brother Troy Brewer: book— Numbers that Preach]
14 = Generational promises, and the fear of the Lord; lineage completed through 3 (the number of fullness or whole) sets of 14— deliverance and promises of God.
It was the 14th day when God delivered Israel out of bondage to Egypt, and fulfilled his 400 year promise— promise fulfilled (Exodus 12:6-36).
“To bear,” and “Shepherd” are used 14 times in the New Testament, and God had to shepherd his people from generation to generation to bear the promises of God. And “forgiveness” and “merciful” are found 14 times in scripture.
As well, 14 ‘stations of the cross’ depict the suffering of Jesus— after Passover— which is on the 14th day of the month Nisan (March-April).
And the ‘fear of the Lord’ is mentioned 14 times in the book of proverbs: and the fear of the Lord is when you love what God loves, hate what God hates; and you unite your passions with his.
_______________
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together [cohabitated], and she was found with child of [denoting origin] the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph, her husband— being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example (scandal)— was minded to put [divorce] her away privately.
20 But while he thought on these things— behold— the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying— Joseph, son of David— fear not to take unto you Mary, your wife: for that which is conceived [procreated, regenerate] in her —is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name [authoritative character and surname] Jesus [Jehoshua— God is Deliverance]: for he shall save [deliver or protect] his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying— 23 behold— a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name [authoritative character and surname] Emmanuel —which being interpreted is— God with us.
24 Then Joseph, being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him— and took [received and associated himself] unto him— his wife: 25 and knew her not —till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus [God is Deliverance].”

So, to sum up the sentences of the generational names of Jesus’ lineage (plus the meaning of brethren and Babylon) we have….
“God is deliverance, and anointed in love, to father a nation or multitude.
The father of a multitude brings in laughter; and laughter follows praise, and the brothers of. Praise brings in a breakthrough of shining light— and victory or triumph. A breakthrough brings in a dart of joy, and joy brings in height (soaring). My people are generous, and oracles in shalom or peace; and peace (godly order) brings in swift strength. Out of trouble came (like Jesus’ life and death) swift strength, that brought in service to God, and worship; a compassionate friend— the Lord exists.
The Lord exists— the beloved, the king and foundation of power— the sovereign; and peace is the light in Jehovah— the Flame of God; my people are enlarged; God is my father, and my healer.
The healer who has judged, and was cast up, elevated and exalted— is my power; the Lord is my strength and power. Jehovah is perfect, complete, and he possesses, he strengthens and causes us to forget (former things). Secret and faithful— Jehovah helps; God fortifies the womb brothers— who were confused.
In confusion, God fortifies— provides protection mentally and physically— when asked of God; sown in confusion— yet, the divine Father is glory (of notable achievements, magnificent and beautiful), he rises and establishes— he’s our helper. The just or righteous God— will judge; and he is my praise— he has helped; he has gifted and given, and what follows him— is what he shall add to his beloved— for God is deliverance, and anointed.”
And in 14 generations, we have: generational promises, the shepherd who bears forgiveness and mercy— by the stations of the cross, after Passover (death passes over), bringing in the ‘fear of the Lord,’ or revering him once again.

Matthew 2
______________________________
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem [House of Bread] of Judaea [the praised one] in the days of Herod [heroic] the king [sovereign foundation of power]— behold, there came wise men [scientist magicians] from the east to Jerusalem, 2 saying— Where is he that is born King [sovereign foundation of power] of the Jews [house of Judah]? For we have seen his star in the east— and have come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled— and all of Jerusalem [the city of peace] with him.
________________
Some background on Herod— he was granted the title of "King of Judea" by the Roman Senate; can we see how this would be troublesome to him? He is now competing with a generational King of Judea (Judah) —and that affects HIS rule there, given by the occupying kingdom— Rome.
________________
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests [leadership] and scribes [writing secretaries] of the people together— he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said to him— In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet— 6 And you Bethlehem [the House of Bread]— in the land of Judah [the praised one]— are not the least [in dignity] among the princes [leadership, governing] of Judah [the praised one]: for out of you —shall come a Governor [strength, command, official authority, deem, consider and esteem rule]— that shall rule [tend and shepherd, supervise and feed] my people— Israel [the people of faith in Jehovah].
________________
Okay, so to summarize— Out of the House of Bread (he is the bread and wine) comes the Praised One; the heroic sovereign foundation of power. And magicians are tracking him (as they will track God’s people even now, through witchcraft)— sent of Herod (the competing king/kingdom: symbolically satan)— the one whose power and rule is threatened by his lineage to the right to rule Judah; the place he is currently given power in to rule (think carnal man)— and by the foreign occupying forces (symbolic of demonic strongholds) of Roman occupation: hence, illegitimate with God.
And so, he, and the city of peace (symbolic of the soul of man)— is troubled; because his reign is threatened (warfare). So he gathers all the leadership and demands to be shown where the anointed one (the one granted holy office) will be born. (Satan— desiring to keep his throne and dominion in man.)
And yet— the house of Bread (the house of the Lord), in the land of the Praised One (where he is upheld, in this soul)— will not be least in dignity, among the governing leadership (first fruits); for out of you, the Praised One— the Governor— the one of strength, command, official authority, deemed, considered and esteemed— will rule; he will tend and shepherd, supervise and feed his flock— the people of Israel (Jacob— who follows him) —the people of faith in Jehovah.
________________
7 Then Herod— when he had privately called the wise men— enquired of them diligently —what time [fixed place in space and time] the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said— Go and search diligently for the young child; and when you have found him— bring me word again— that I may come and worship [pay homage to] him also.
9 When they had heard the king— they departed; and, lo, the star [shining], which they saw in the east, went before them— till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star— they rejoiced —with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they came into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down [one definition is failed], and worshiped [paid homage to, reverently, prostrate] him: and when they had opened their treasures— they presented unto him gifts [sacrifices]; gold [from the idea of utility, or— useful, beneficial, several functions], and frankincense [defined as incense itself— in Strong’s, which is symbolic of worship prayer/communion with God] and myrrh [strengthening].
________________
So, now we have the magicians— sent to deceive and lead the newborn King of Israel— failing at their mission, and prostrating themselves before the King of all of Creation, and all that is— defying the illegitimate ruling forces, Roman and Herod (or satan); and they bring YahShua gifts [or sacrifice to him]— useful, beneficial— and incense, to strengthen: it looks as if satan has failed, and God has prevailed.
________________
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod— they departed into their own country another way.
________________
Not only did satan’s attempt to locate the King of Judah, the King of all creation and the fulness thereof fail— but now his kingdom is suffering violence, from the Kingdom of God— because his worker minion, have now converted (been saved, seen the light, joined God as a servant of) —and God’s Kingdom is increasing already: this is the symbolic, spiritual parable of salvation; when God comes and snatches, or repossesses a man— straight out of the union with he and satan— and gives him a new covenant with Him to live out: Salvation, REUNIFICATION, reconciliation to the Living God.
________________
13 And when they had departed— behold— the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying— Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt— and remain there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
________________
Holy Spirit guidance— and he still does this for all his children; he changes not, nor is he a man that he should lie; God cannot lie: his pattern and faithfulness is the same in all time, and unto all of his people.
________________
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night— and departed into Egypt: 15 and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying— Out of Egypt have I called my son.
________________
WOW— the spiritual significance in that one statement.
“Out of Egypt— I call my son(s).”
That is exactly the same for the rest of the sons who follow the Son; we are called out of union with the devil and lies, and into union— REUNION— with the Holy, Living, Just and True God— our Father and Maker of us; out of Egypt or bondage to the illegitimate king (herod), and into the arms and heart of the true King: YahShua HaMashiach— Jesus the Christ.
________________
16 Then Herod— when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men— was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under— according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
________________
We are in a WAR— satan is NEVER well pleased when his kingdom (albeit, illegitimate) is threatened and suffers loss. We will go through OPPOSITION in this lifetime, we will be threatened with death: he comes to do 3 things unto humanity— steal from them, destroy what he can in their lives— and their relationship with their God and Maker, and kill them— if allowed.
If it has happened in time before, it can, and likely will occur again: this is the faithful pattern.
________________
17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah [meaning— the Lord exalts] the prophet, saying— 18 in Rama [high and exalted] was there a voice heard— of lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning— Rachel [ewe, or female sheep] weeping for her children, and would not be comforted— because they are not.
________________
Interesting— the one who brings forth (ewe) of the family of God (that would be God himself) —is lamenting, weeping, and mourning greatly— with a raised voice —as it was prophesied would happen; when satan (death) swept over the people of God.
So much symbolic/spiritual symbolism, and depth of understanding in this.
________________
19 But when Herod was dead— behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt— 20 saying— Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead who sought the young child's life.
________________
Even in the midst of all of that— God protects ‘his anointed;’ this is good for us to be aware of; his mission was not fulfilled— hence— protection and promises fulfilled, faithful is he: prophecy.
________________
21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel [the place of faith in God— land of Israel].
________________
We too must learn the faithfulness of God and his provisions— when we are facing great obstacles and hardships in this life. God— is faithful and true— and we are his children; he will fulfill all he has promised us, and is working ALL THINGS together in our lives— for our own good: he is a faithful and good Father.
________________
22 But when he heard that Archelaus [ruling people] did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod— he was afraid to go thither [there]: notwithstanding [but]— he, being warned of God in a dream —turned aside, into the parts of Galilee [district circle]: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth [meaning— a branch from Jesse’s roots]: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets— He shall be called a Nazarene [an inhabitant of Nazareth— the branch from Jesse].”
________________
All must be fulfilled that God has promised and spoken: he is faithful and true. He is a leader who will always provide, warn, and bring through— or faithfully fulfill— all he has declared. He will bring us back full circle, by the Branch from Jesse (YahShua, Jesus the Christ): he is not remiss— he will not forsake, fail, or be unfaithful.
He is loyal, mighty, true and loving— and he will receive ALL of those the Father has given him; and the House of Bread, the House of the Lord God, the people of faith in him— are, and will be saved by his hand, again, and again, and again: this is his way— and he changes not.
