How many of you have the Fear of the Lord God?

How many of you KNOW you execute/practice the Fear of the Lord God in your lives?

*Service to the flesh, lacks the fear of the Lord, and eternal life.

He is HIGH KING, and HOLY— are we lackadaisical in our relationship with the High King, and with the HIGH PRIEST ‘of our confession?’

Hebrews 3:1-2

“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling— consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession [acknowledgment: con or pro + fession] —Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him…”

Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the Lord, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the Lord commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; With whom the Lord had made a covenant, and charged them, saying— You shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:

But (instead) the Lord— who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm— him shall you fear, and him shall you worship, and to him shall you do sacrifice.

And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you— you shall observe to do for evermore; and you shall not fear other gods.

And the covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget; neither shall you fear other gods.

But the Lord your God you shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

Howbeit —they did not hearken— but they did after their former manner.

So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.”

Word from the Lord

“They have lost, or forgotten— the Fear of the Lord Janet; and if it’s the beginning of knowledge— likely they are lacking in the ‘other 5’ spirits of God, in many ways: The Spirit of the Lord, of his Counsel, of his Wisdom, of his Understanding, of his Might.

For the Knowledge of God, the Counsel of God, the Wisdom of God, the Understanding of God, and God’s Might— is hedged in by the Spirit of the Lord’s presence, and the reverence of the individual unto the Fear of the Lord.

They cannot forsake the Fear of the Lord— for in the Fear of the Lord, is holiness, righteousness (which is right standing within the Lord himself), justice, judgment, mercy and grace upheld: and overlapping both my left (mercy, and grace), and my right (justice and judgment)

→ are LOVE and TRUTH.

We must walk in LOVE and TRUTH, by the staying arms of mercy, grace, justice and judgment— within my children vessels: these will walk in righteousness and holiness, with reverent fear of the Lord— walking out LOVE and TRUTH, and worshiping me in Spirit and Truth, being rooted and grounded in the fundamentals of God holy.

Serving self/the flesh carnal nature = death to serving Life (which I am), holiness and the one true God.

When I say— ‘Choose this day whom you will serve.’

I am speaking of YOURSELVES (carnal nature) or ME; either unto your carnal nature and soothing, appeasing, and pleasing your flesh— like Eve and Adam— or unto ME, and MY WILL.

Eve who was ignorant and deceived, and Adam— who was complacent, passive, and indifferent— served themselves: my children must uphold me, in obedience and reverence to me, and choose to NOT SERVE SELF, or the FLESH NATURE of being a self god— and choose this day, one situation after another— to return to serving me, and my interests and dictates over your lives.

For continued, seared consciences wrought in sin = iniquity; and iniquity is cast from me: I resist the proud.

Let us REASON saith the Lord— and let us shine a light upon the darkness— for dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

—The Lord God

Daniel 11:32-33

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people DO KNOW THEIR GOD— shall be strong, and do exploits.

And they that understand among the people —shall instruct many...”

Exodus 29:45-46

“And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.”

Deuteronomy 13:1-18

“If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto you, saying— Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them; you shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proves you— to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

You shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him— and keep his commandments, and obey his voice— and you shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage— to thrust you out of the way which the Lord your God commanded you to walk in.

So shall you —put the evil away from the midst of you.

If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend— which is as your own soul— entice you secretly, saying— Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known— you, nor your fathers; namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto you, or far off from you— from the one end of the earth, even unto the other end of the earth; YOU SHALL NOT CONSENT UNTO HIM, nor hearken unto him; neither shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare, or conceal him:

But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

And you shall stone him with stones— that he die; because he has sought to thrust you away from the Lord your God— which brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

And all Israel shall hear— and fear— and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

If you shall hear, say in one of your cities, which the Lord your God has given you to dwell there, saying— Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying— Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known; then shall you enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold— if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you— you shall surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword— destroying it utterly— and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

And you shall gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shall burn with fire the city— and all the spoil thereof every whit— for the Lord your God: and it shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again.

And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to your hand: that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger— and show you mercy, and have compassion upon you, and multiply you— as he has sworn unto your fathers; when you shall hearken to the voice of the Lord your God to keep all his commandments —which I command you this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord —your God.”

Deuteronomy 31:12-13

“Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates— that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God— and observe to do all the words of this law:

And that their children— which have not known anything— may hear, and learn to fear the Lord your God— as long as you live in the land whither you go over Jordan, to possess it.”

2 Chronicles 32:12

“Has not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying— You shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?”

Nehemiah 4:14-16

“And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people— Be not afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible— and fight FOR your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought— that we returned all of us to the wall, everyone —unto his work.

And it came to pass from that time forth, that half of my servants wrought in the work— and the other half of them —held both the spears, the shields, the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.”

Isaiah 58

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways— as/like a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching God.

Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and you take no knowledge?

Behold, in the day of your fastyou find pleasure, and exact all your labors.

Behold, you fast for —strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: you shall not fast as you do this day— to make your voice to be heard on high. [dominion, rule]

Is it such a fast that I have chosen?

A day for a man to afflict his soul?

Is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him?

Will you call this a fast— and an acceptable day to the Lord?

Is not this the fast that I have chosen?

→ To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that YOU BREAK EVERY YOKE?

Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to —your house? When you see the naked— that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh?

Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your reward.

Then shalt you call, and the Lord shall answer; you shall cry, and he shall say— Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in obscurity, and your darkness be as the noon day:

And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden— and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

And they that shall be of you— shall build the old waste places: you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called— The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

If you turn away your foot from the sabbath [— from doing YOUR PLEASURE on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord— honorable; and shall honor him, NOT DOING YOUR OWN WAYS, nor FINDING YOUR OWN PLEASURE, nor speaking YOUR OWN WORDS:

Then— shall you delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”

Jeremiah 5:1-7, 21-25

“Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know— and seek in the broad places thereof, if you can find a man— if there be any that executes judgment, who seeks the truth— and I will pardon it.

And though they say— The Lord liveth; surely they swear falsely.

O Lord— are not your eyes upon the truth?

You have stricken them— but they have not grieved; you have consumed them— but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

Therefore I said— Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the Lord, nor the judgment of their God.

I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them— for they have known the way of the Lord, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them— and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them— a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goes out thence —shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

How shall I pardon you for this?

Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full— they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

21-25

Hear now this, O foolish people, without understanding; which have eyes— and see not; which have ears— and hear not:

Fear ye not me, saith the Lord: will you not tremble at my presence, who has placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves— yet can they not prevail; though they roar— yet can they not pass over it?

But this people has a revolting, and a rebellious heart; they are revolted [turned aside] and gone.

Neither do they say in their heart— Let us now fear the Lord our God, that gives rain— both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Your iniquities have turned away these things— and your sins have withholden good things from you.”

Jeremiah 24:1-10

“The Lord showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the Lord, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs— which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

Then said the Lord unto me— What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying— Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

For I will set my eyes upon them for good— and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people— and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me —WITH THEIR WHOLE HEART.

And as the evil figs— which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the Lord— So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.”

Ezekiel 36:16-38

“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying— Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land— they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land— and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way, and according to their doings I judged them.

And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them— These are the people of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land.

But I had pity —for my holy name— which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel— but for my holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

And I will sanctify my great name— which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God— when I shall be sanctified in you, before their eyes.

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh— and I will give you a heart of flesh.

And I will put my spirit within you— and cause you to walk in my statutes— and you shall keep my judgments, and do them.

And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people— and I will be your God.

I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

Then —you will remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight —for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God —be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Thus saith the Lord God; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities —I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

And the desolate land shall be tilled— whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

And they shall say— This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced— and are inhabited.

Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant —that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it.

Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.”

Hosea 5:3-5, 15

“I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, you commit whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them— and they have not known the Lord.

And the pride of Israel does testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.

15 I will go and return to my place— till they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.”

Matthew 22:1-14, 36-39, 43-44

“And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said— The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying— Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Then saith he to his servants— The wedding is ready, but they who were bidden —were not worthy.

Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find— bid to the marriage.

So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found— both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him— Friend, how did you come in hither, not having a wedding garment?

And he was speechless.

Then said the king to the servants— Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

For many are called— but few are chosen.

36-39

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him— Thou shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind (minding).

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it— Thou shalt love your neighbor as thyself.

43-44

He saith unto them— How then does David, in spirit, call him Lord, saying— The Lord said unto my Lord— Sit thou on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool?”

Romans 1:1-7, 11, 16-32

“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David —according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God— with power— according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith —among all nations— for his name:

Among whom you are also the called of Jesus Christ:

To all that be in Rome— beloved of God— called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift [gratuity, endowment, qualification and faculty], to the end— that you may be established.

16-32

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from —faith [moral conviction of religious truth— reliance on Christ, truth itself] to faith [moral conviction of religious truth— reliance on Christ, truth itself]: as it is written— The just [equitable in character and actions, innocent and holy] shall live by faith [moral conviction of religious truth— reliance on Christ, truth itself].

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven— against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men— who hold the truth in unrighteousness [moral wrongfulness in character or actions]; Because that which may be known of God —is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him —from the creation of the world are clearly seen— being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because, when they knew God— they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations— and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise— they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God —into an image made like to corruptible man— and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie— and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator— who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this cause he God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman— burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge— God gave them over to a reprobate [unapproved, rejected, worthless (morally), castaway] mind— to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God— that they— who commit such things, are worthy of death— not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

1 Corinthians 8:1-13

“Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge —puffs up, but charity edifies.

And if any man thinks that he knows anything— he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

But if any man loves God, the same is known of him.

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God— the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ— by whom are all things, and we by him.

Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience [moral consciousness, co-perception] of the idol— unto this hour —eats it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak —is defiled.

But meat commended us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.

For if any man sees you which has knowledge —sit at meat in the idol's temple— shall not the conscience of him who is weak —be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through your knowledge —shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

But when you sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience— you sin against Christ.

Wherefore, if meat makes my brother to offend— I will eat no flesh while the world stands— lest I make my brother to offend.”

2 Corinthians 5:1-21

“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Now he that has wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also has given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith— not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent— we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done— whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord— we persuade men; we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that you may have somewhat to answer them who glory in appearance— and not in heart.

For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

And that he died for all, that they who live should not henceforth live unto themselves— but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Therefore if any man be in Christ— he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then —we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled [changed— mutually, different] to God.

For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

2 Corinthians 12:8-9

“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me— My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities— that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Ephesians 3:1-21

“For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words— Whereby, when you read— you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) —Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men— as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to—the gift of the grace of God given unto me —by the effectual working of his power.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

To the intent that now, unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places, might be known by the church —the manifold wisdom of God,

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Wherefore I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named— That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love— may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ— which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”

Ephesians 4:1-32

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called,

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all —who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But unto everyone of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Wherefore he saith— When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive— and gave gifts unto men.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers— For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God— unto a perfect man— unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love— may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself —in love.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mindHaving the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them— because of the blindness of their heart:

Who being past feeling— have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

But you have not so learned Christ;

If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man— which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

And that you put on the new man— which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Neither give place to the devil.

Let him that stole —steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying— that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.”

1 Timothy 6:12-16

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called— and have professed a good profession —before many witnesses.

I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate— the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

2 Timothy 2:1-26

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.

And if a man also strive for masteries— yet he is not crowned— except he strive lawfully.

The husbandman that labors— must be first partaker of the fruits.

Consider what I say; and the Lord give you understanding in all things.

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him— we shall also live with him: If we suffer— we shall also reign with him: if we deny him— he also will deny us: If we believe not, even yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

Study to show yourself approved unto God— a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal— The Lord knows them that are his. And, let everyone that names the name of Christ —depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness —instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil— who are taken captive by him at his will.”

1 Peter 4:1-19

“Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh —has ceased from sin;

That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of menbut to the will of God.

For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

Wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of— but on your part he is glorified.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us— what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved— where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing— as unto a faithful Creator.”

2 Corinthians 13:3-5

“Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him— but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

5 Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you— except you be reprobates?”

Matthew 13:1-58

“The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus saith unto them— Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

Then said he unto them— Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.

And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.

And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

Hebrews 5:1-14

“For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he (Father) that said unto him— Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

As he saith also in another place— Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

Deuteronomy 10:12-17

“And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul— To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff necked.

For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward.”

Deuteronomy 30:6

“And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.”

John 14:15-27

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
