Reformation Day– October 31st
PREPARE–
for what is coming.
The Lord mentions REFORM and REFORMATION, in SCRIPTURE; let us see exactly what he has said about it, and what comes if we reverence him and his holiness, or– if we do not.

Hebrews 9
“Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle, which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid roundabout with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy-seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
8 The Holy Ghost– this signifies, that the way into the holiest of all– was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
(speaking of the coming Messiah,
YaH’shua Hamashiach– Jesus the Christ.)
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until THE TIME OF– *REFORMATION.
11 But Christ– having become an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
(not literal tent, or materials–
but of the Spirit, Body and Soul– of GOD.)
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood –he entered in once, to the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer, sprinkling the unclean (person), sanctified to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself–
without spot –to God– purge your conscience from dead works –to serve the living God?”
(Here he tells us, if God could cleanse us with blood of animals, unto the ‘cleansing of the flesh,’ in the old covenant–
HOW MUCH MORE CHRIST DOES WITH GIVING US HIS ‘unspotted,’ CLEAN and PERFECT BLOOD SACRIFICE—
that can cleanse us, body, soul and spirit, cleansing ‘our consciences’ FROM DEAD DEEDS WE DO–
into SERVING GOD PROPERLY,
Being
RECONCILED UNTO HIM,
And
*REFORMED
by
HIS SPIRIT,
Given to us in
THE NEW COVENANT,
Through
THE NEW CREATURE/CREATION.)
Let us see that in the beginning of Leviticus 26, from verse 1-13…
‘if’ we do these things with the Lord, endure, and be reformed/refined by his hand,
follow his statutes and commands,
and make NO IDOLS BEFORE US,
or between us and God– THEN,
his provision and blessings befalls us,
AND our lands.
But– if we do not, the Judgment of God comes into play, from verse 14-46.
Leviticus 26
“You shall make you– NO IDOLS or GRAVEN IMAGE, neither rear you up a standing image, nor shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it– for I am the Lord your God.
2 You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary –I am the Lord.
(Sanctuary, temple, which is now– your body/person, where the Kingdom of God resides, within)
3 IF you ‘walk in’ my statutes, and keep
my commandments, and do them;
4 Then –I will give you rain in due season, and
the land shall yield her increase, and
the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 And your threshing –shall reach unto the vintage (end result fruition come true– drinking in the wine after being crushed, refined and reformed), and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you– by the sword.
8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you– shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 And you shall eat from the old store, and bring forth the old– because of the new. (his storehouse)
11 And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people.
13 I am –’the Lord your God,’ which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt (slavery/bondage), that you should not be their bondmen (slaves– doing their deeds, their work, their way); and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you GO *UPRIGHT.
(Bondage to satan, and his ways–
is to be perverted
or
TWISTED UP from God’s way–
not *upright,
unto
God holy and his image;
one is
mangled and entangled
in the
affairs and ‘image’ of evil/satan.)
14 But if you will not hearken (listen, heed, apply, obey) to me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul– abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you;
I will even appoint over you terror, consumption,
and the burning *ague
(Ague– acute fever– THAT’S COMING NEXT),
that shall consume the eyes,
and cause sorrow of heart:
and you shall sow your seed in vain,
for your enemies shall eat it.
(So, if your ‘soul–’ MIND, EMOTIONS and CHOICES [will]-- actually hate God’s holiness and you choose not to follow his way or commands– YOU HAVE BROKEN COVENANT WITH GOD HOLY. And the result is CATASTROPHIC.)
17 And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies: those that hate you– shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you. (terribly afraid, paranoia)
18 And if you (STILL) will not yet, for through all this, hearken unto me– then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 I WILL– break the pride of your power (self sufficient, independent, and wicked ways); and
I will make your heaven– as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain
(means whether you look to heaven for help,
or work as hard as you can on your own in the earth–
it will not be prosperous, but EMPTY/vain results):
for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits (to ‘you’).
21 And if you walk contrary to me, and will not hearken unto me– I will bring seven times more plagues upon you– ACCORDING TO YOUR SINS. (you commit, in rebellion)
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways– shall be desolate.
23 And if you WILL NOT BE *REFORMED BY ME– by these things, but will walk contrary to me;
24 Then I WILL ALSO WALK *CONTRARY TO YOU, and WILL PUNISH YOU YET– seven times
for your sins.
25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant (holy bond, bring it back to your remembrance and regard): and
when you are gathered together within your cities,
I will send the pestilence among you; and…
YOU SHALL BE DELIVERED INTO
‘the hand of the enemy.’
26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and YOU SHALL EAT– and NOT BE ‘satisfied.’
(No matter what you do– you will suffer for the rebellion.)
27 And if you will not, for all this (or, ‘thru’ all this), hearken unto me– but walk contrary to me;
28 Then I will walk contrary to you also– IN *FURY; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.
(Believe it or not, he has told me, that unto the wicked through the coming GREAT FAMINE and pestilences and judgment, folks will begin to consume ‘flesh’ of all sorts, their pets, and yes– their children, again, like in days of old– there is nothing new under the sun, and people will try to save their lives by ‘any’ means. The horror.)
30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
(High places will be destroyed within, in ones independent rebellious ways, to be humbled unto the Lord holy,
in reformation, or one will perish in their ways; as well, the land will be ‘brought low,’ as the Lord lays out his Judgment in the earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, droughts, landslides, weather destructions– to cleanse the lands from the evil influencers– leaving but ‘a remnant’ of God’s people,
as always.)
31 I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries– to desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.
(This verse reminds me of how our ‘prayers’ of reverence unto our God are a ‘sweet savor’ in the nostrils of our Lord– but a wicked person brings a ‘stench’ to the nostrils of our holy God.
He will not hear our stinky prayers through a ‘filthy’ unreformed vessel-sanctuary, or tabernacle–
a
place meant for the indwelling of our Lord in holiness.)
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein– shall be astonished at it.
33 I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you be in your enemies' land; even then– shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
(In the land’s DESTRUCTION– rest, shall finally come; for all the people will be force to look up, and KNOW– the Lord is High King, and he will be honored in the land and people– or they will ‘reap’ the devil, and his destructions, for what was sown.)
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your (God’s) sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it.
36 And upon them that are left alive of you– I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf
shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.
37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursues: and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
(Paranoid FEAR will overtake the people, a madness will run throughout the land, and death will come in droves, through blood shed.)
38 And you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 They that are left of you– shall pine away in their iniquity– in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers– shall they pine away with them.
(The weight of being ‘occupied’ in enemy land now, will cause folks to think upon the wickedness of their forefathers' ways, and the ways they have followed as well.)
40 If they shall *confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then –their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then –will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham –will I remember; and I will remember the land.
(He just gave us the ‘to do list of the heart’ in man,
unto repentance and REFORMATION–
THAT, will ‘save’ and ‘heal’ our land.
We have a ways to go,
and much to go ‘thru’ to get there.)
43 The land also shall be left to them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lies desolate without them (honoring the Lord): and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquity: because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
(Even those that ‘make it’ through this, the land will need to be restored, rebuilt, through much efforts, as the destruction will be ‘full,’ unto it, for its iniquitous sinning.)
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, or to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.”
(He will remember us, and our covenant with him, in those that will remember him, and honor him; he will not destroy the place utterly, for their sakes.)
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the Lord made between him and the children of Israel –in mount Sinai– by the hand of Moses.”
These chapters are telling us of what is to come, and is dependent upon how we have been living; we have much judgment coming, but a remnant will remain, be taken care of, and will rebuild– on the other side of this.
Please, be counted with ‘the seal’ upon you
OF THE COVENANT (intact, not forsaken and cutoff, as he clearly states IS POSSIBLE), and the blood of Christ over you, during the coming season of Judgment to the lands.
Live according to the description in the beginning of Leviticus with the Lord, that these plagues, pestilences and destruction– ‘passover’ you and your family.
Do as he commanded, ‘abstain from all appearances of evil,’ follow his way, and the ‘covenant’ and provisions of YaH– will remain with you.
There is ‘so much provision,’ Love and Care, to those that follow God holy and his ways.
I pray we have hearts that desire to obey YaH, as YaH’shua exemplified bodily in the earth, and still does through his Spirit, given to us in measure–
to reform us into his image, and ‘keep covenant’ with him.
For ‘we can do ALL THINGS–’ even being REFORMED into his image, inside and out–
‘through Christ, who strengthens us.’
(Philippians 4:13)
What does Reformation Day celebrate?
It is an official holiday in most German states and seeks to celebrate the significant religious reforms brought on by “The 95 Theses.” Reformation Day stands by truth and the Bible as the sole source of religious authority.
Why is Reformation Day important for Christians?
However, celebrating Reformation Day means more than celebrating the event that effectively sparked the Protestant Reformation. It also means celebrating what that Reformation was truly all about — the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ: that we are saved by God's grace through faith in his son.
