“Forasmuch, then, as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh… or, experienced the painful expression in the flesh body (as well the suffering of the carnal nature applied to him, in mind— and with its passions/lust)...

Arm yourselves, or… or equip yourselves with spiritual/figurative weapons, likewise (meaning— this is what he did) —with the same mind, or… thoughtfulness (toward Father) of moral understanding, AND intent and mind.


For the person who has suffered, or experienced the painful expression of the carnal nature and its passions/lust, in the flesh— has ceased, or…

Take pause to STOP, and restrain oneself, quit, desist and bring sinning (offense, infraction of God’s way) to an end in their person/life;  they cease, leave it, and refrain from such partaking, same as Christ.”

1) to revel— carousel:  drink plentiful amounts of alcohol, lively drinking party.

   1a) a nocturnal and riotous procession of half drunken, and frolicsome fellows— who after supper— parade through the streets with torches and music in honor of Bacchus [the god of wine],  or some other deity— and sing and play before houses of male and female friends; hence used generally of feasts and drinking parties that are protracted till late at night and indulge in revelry.

Strong’s Hebrew breakdown of idolatries (history).


1) the worship of false gods, idolatry

    1a) of the formal sacrificial feats (achievements/deeds) —held in honor of false gods.

    1b) of avarice— as a worship of Mammon




Mammon — is wealth personified:  treasure and avarice (deified)— extreme greed or material gain— made a god in one’s life.



Mammon is when we exalt personal, material treasures in this life (extremely desirous of material/temporal things) —and DEIFY it.  



To deify means— to worship, regard, or treat MATERIAL/TEMPORAL, and PERSONAL GAINS— as a ‘god;’  we become personal, carnal, fleshy desirous gods.


Root meaning— Middle English (in the sense ‘make godlike in character’): from Old French deifier, from ecclesiastical Latin deificare, from deus ‘god’.


We begin to make Mammon (greedy, personal, material/temporal gains in this lifetime) personaly (a false god) into OUR PERSONALITY— whereas we are to be like God’s personality and conduct/character…  and we live carnally/base/fallen/lustful in fleshly desires— and make this our god (self, and self gratification).

4 “Wherein they think it strange that you do not run [rush together— to hastily assemble— or headlong run] with them— to the same excess [license] of riot [unsaved profligacy— reckless, extravagant, wastefulness] —speaking evil of [impiously, blasphemously, defaming, railing on, and reviling] you:  


5 Who shall give account to him (God)— who is ready to judge [decide judicially— by implication— to try, condemn, punish, avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, call in question, and sentence] the quick [the quickened to life] and the dead [figuratively or literally].”

6 “For this cause the gospel was preached also to those who are dead— that they might be judged [decide on— judicially— tried, condemned, punished, avenged, concluded, condemned, damned, decreed, determined, esteemed, judged— go to (sue at the) law, called into question, and sentenced] according to men in the flesh — but live [to be quickened/live— with moral character] according to God [the Supreme Magistrate] —in the spirit [vital principle, mental disposition of God— Christ's Spirit— the Holy Spirit:  ghost, life, spirit].”

Why was the gospel preached?  


Because people were ‘dead,’ they were— lifeless, with souls entrapped in hell, destitute of life (without life in them, spiritually/figuratively), dead spiritually (this means— operating opposite of God, and in a perpetual state of death operating in their minds, hearts/souls), destitute of life that recognises and is devoted to God holy— because they are given over to sins and trespass his nature (they are his opposite/opposition/enemy);  they are inactive in doing right/righteousness— and are essentially— inoperative.



Inoperative—  not working or taking effect.



And because they are dead inside (spiritually in their souls, they operate in another nature opposite of God— sin and iniquity of), they are to be judged as fleshly men;  meaning— by God, seen in the state they are in— but CALLED BY GOD, to ‘live’ —or be quickened from that state, made alive again in spirit works within them [of his Spirit] in moral character, led of his Spirit;  his vital principles of HIS MENTAL DISPOSITION (God), Christ’s Spirit/the Holy Spirit:  his life force working in them.



This is what salvation and —passing from death to life is;  this is why so many will be told in that day…


“Depart from me, you workers of iniquity (that’s continued in sinning), I know you not.”



We must be known of God— which comes about when we desire to BE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD;  there is no other way.


His Spirit does not even come to those who desire not to obey him;  he only sends his Holy Spirit to those who will obey him (Acts 5:32):  there must be a desire to BE A RIGHTEOUS PERSON, for real, inside;  this is what the 180 degree turnaround— that repentance is.



Repentance is required in every soul who accepts Christ for salvation— for repentance in Strong’s is defined as— a compunction of your guilty sin nature, that compels you to not only feel sorry— but be changed completely around because of the compunction to cause you (from that guilt) —to BECOME THE OPPOSITE (of your old man nature) that you were living, and BECOME REFORMED (all in the Strong’s definition) —and change from previous decisions (that lead to actions).



Without a person seeking to BECOME HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (change from the carnal nature) —then the only thing the person wanted was to be saved from hell.



Folks— hell is a state of being in this lifetime— that leads to a destination later on for eternity;  if the perpetual state of hell/death is not rectified in THIS LIFETIME, inside our souls— and we really give over to living in righteousness— we are lukewarm, noncommittal to righteousness (and he is the King of Righteousness) —and we perish.



Hell = imprisonment (literally and spiritually).



Hell imprisonment BEGINS— in the souls of men and women, with DEMONIC STRONGHOLDS, that are upheld by a ‘nature’ that people choose to participate with (their nature) —and if not STOPPED/ARRESTED in it’s development and execution of, in this lifetime— one will go to the final destination where demonic nature (fallen nature of sin) goes;  as God will chuck that nature into the fire recycle bin, for all of eternity.


We are called to trash that thing WILLINGLY in this lifetime— so we have nothing to do with the imprisonment of ‘that nature,’ in eternity (lake of fire).



Do we understand this?  


Lukewarm compromise— means to want the benefits of God holy, without the consummated covenant marriage partnership to holiness and righteousness;  folks— that’s why the Lukewarm get chucked into hell and the lake of fire with satan in the end;  because they didn’t want to stop eating off the devil’s table of options in this life:  they did not want HOLINESS INSIDE OF THEMSELVES, to be lived out;  they did not want to BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST:  and that IS— the Roman’s 8 manifested child of God.



So, our Lord came and fulfilled Calvary for us to have the way to reunite to his holy Spirit again (a spirit of purity) —but we have to ACTUALLY desire to be holy/righteous as he is, in TRUTH;  no one fools God:  he searches the truth in hearts/souls of men;  his eyes go to and fro, and he searches hearts.


We do not ‘get in another way,’ he speaks of this all throughout scripture;  a thief (that’s a hypocrite) will not enter into Christ (heaven’s door) —because he is not mocked— what a man lives (sows) —he will reap:  if we do not desire to be righteous— what are we turning from in repentance?


If we do not desire to be holy, what is his reformation process for— for he is holy and righteous?


If we do not want to be righteous— why would righteousness yoke to us (the Father/God of righteousness)?


There is not compromise in heaven— there is purity in heaven, there is genuine and authentic in heaven, and in God;  and he will yoke in a covenant to those who are desiring to be righteous (and changed into it) and TRUE (genuine and authentic) —as he is.

7 “But the end of all things is at hand: so be therefore sober, and watch unto prayer [address to God].”

2) to be temperate, dispassionate— not influenced by strong emotion, and so able to be rational and impartial— circumspect (look around, like head on a swivel/mindful/careful/watchful)




Because the end of all things is at hand— be sober, be— of a sound mind/SANE and moderate or moderated in your character, morals and disposition (after God’s way and person) —be in HIS RIGHT MIND (in operation in you), and watch, or— abstain from a state of drunkenness (spiritually speaking or literal), be discreet, collected in spirit (meaning— proper), temperate (meaning— self restraint— not affected by passion or emotion as the root definition), and circumspect (meaning— careful/mindful/watchful in your character and actions) —unto prayer, or in your addressing God (that’s reverence, authenticity and of a pure heart/soul).



We MUST understand salvation, sanctification 

and consecration:  it all goes together.



Salvation— accepting the God of righteousness/holiness to yoke up to in our souls/hearts, because we realize we are sinners (opposite and estranged from him, in a prison state inside— kept from union and fellowship from him) and we need to be reconciled to him and his holiness/righteous nature and person— AND WE DESIRE THAT, to be like him again, AND WITH HIM, yoked to him:  we are serious, genuine and pure about our motives for desiring union with him.



Sanctification— the first step after accepting him and his righteousness/holiness back into our souls;  we begin walking in his righteousness, cleaning our act up (actions/behaviors) that are opposite his (old man nature), and we become GENUINE and AUTHENTIC (that’s the only people he has, they are a true reflection of him and his nature);  and this begins by coming into the truth.  


We get into scripture, find out who he is, start communing with his Spirit inside and outside the bible, we discover what it is to walk in righteousness, what the truth is (he’s a person with a conduct about him), be cleansed by the word of God (he’s a person and comes with a conduct about his Spirit that we are now yoked to, tied to), and we are BEING REFORMED.  



*Without reformation— nothing changed from when you first approached him;  and he is to finish a work in us— if not reformation of the old man— into his glorious image of his inner conduct again— what are we being reformed from?  


*What is the workmanship he is finishing in us then?  


*What did we come out of— to step into him?



He does not have unrighteousness in him— and if we are going to be ‘in’ Christ, and come through him, back to the Father again— we will come through HIS SPIRIT;  and his Spirit— lives inside righteousness/holiness, and we will too.




Consecration— making our person/vessel/temple consecrated (sanctified and deemed, set up) holy, clean, honorable unto our holy and righteous God— to inhabit and cohabitate with us:  we become like/same/as in his image again, and two— become one— in Spirit:  two become twins in their inner man (souls/hearts), and this is why the dominion of being seated with him in heavenly places WORKS in our lives.


When we exalt him (truly cast his person and ways up) inside our souls— we are cast up in heavenly places IN HIM (in his domain);  BECAUSE WE CAST HIM UP IN OUR DOMAIN (or soul/heart/temple/person):  tit for tat, same/as/like, a life laid down— for a life laid down.


And a laid down life is a total surrender to God and his ways— exalted in our lives;  there are no cut corners or cheating God;  he expects authenticity toward you REALLY LIKING HOLINESS/RIGHTEOUSNESS, and TRULY— choosing to ‘be’ it:  we are constantly ‘being’ something;  and his children truly desire to be as he is:  and so they consecrate (make sacred) their souls/hearts/minds/emotions/center of them— to God— to be reformed and made back into that in which they hailed from:  righteous/holiness himself.

8 “And above all things —have fervent [without ceasing and outstretched] charity [affection of benevolence and good will] among yourselves: for charity shall cover [hide and veil] the multitude of sins [the offenses, missing the mark, wandering from the path of righteousness and doing wrong, wandering from the law (or conduct) of God].  


9 Use hospitality [be hospitable— friendly, welcoming and pleasant] one to another —without grudging [grumbling, murmuring and debating, with hidden displeasure].


10 As every man has received the gift [divine gratuity:  deliverance —from danger or passion(s), especially a spiritual endowment, i.e. (subjectively) religious qualification, or miraculous faculty:  free gift] —even so minister [serve] the same one to another— as good stewards [house managers, overseers] of the manifold grace [graciousness— of manner or act, especially the divine influence— upon the heart— and its reflection in the life; including gratitude] of God [supreme magistrate/judge of all].”

Above all other things, without ceasing and with outstretched actions and hands— have affectionate benevolence and good will, one to another;  because charity (love) will hide/veil and cover a multitude of sin— or offenses of missing the mark and wandering off the path of righteousness into doing wrong (with our brethren— forgiving, patient and long-suffering, essentially) —as they wander from the way God conducts himself (the law of his person).


Be hospitable, friendly, welcoming and pleasant to people— without grumbling inside or out, murmuring and debating with people (arguing) —and without being secretly displeased inside:  get a grip on that nature, and throw it down.


Because every man has received the free gift of God (salvation offered to all, freely) of divine gratitude in deliverance from that nature— that dangerous passionate/lustful/undisciplined of that nature— by spiritual endowment of HIS SPIRIT given to us (don’t deny the power thereof, for him to rule and reign and make change within you, and be powerful enough that he can, in anyone) —to gain a miraculous faculty within us.



Faculties— mental or physical power;  in this case— the conduct of Christ being developed and executed within us now.


So, with that nature of God now— serve people, with that nature and conduct, as house managers (both your own vessel, and the household of God being treated properly— by your newly established character and conduct within, led of his Spirit), as good stewards— managers and overseers of God’s graciousness— his manners or actions— the divine influence upon the heart— and its reflection in the your life, including an attitude of gratitude.



That is what scripture is detailing out to us, that we are to be ‘being;’  meaning— in a perpetual state of walking out;  this is what it is to tabernacle with the Spirit of God, as we are yoked to his Spirit, and being reformed by his hand in our person/vessel/temple/lives.


Without this taking place— we did not change, and Christ is not finishing a work in us;  reformation— is part of salvation, and sanctification by the scrubbing of the Word of God/truth— is how it’s accomplished— unto those who are consecrating their lives (person) to him, as they lay the right to lead themselves down— and abdicate all to him:  making him GOD OF THEM.

11 “If any man speaks— let him speak as the oracles [utterances] of God; if any man minister [serve] —let him do it as of —the ability [power and strength] that God gives [as a dance-leader— furnishes]: that God in all things may be glorified [honored, esteemed and magnified] through Jesus Christ— to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

If ANY MAN— that is saying ‘all his children’ —speaks— let him speak forth the utterances of God;  do we understand that the only way we can accomplish THAT— is if he himself is doing his works out of us, as we have bowed to him inside, agreed to uphold righteousness in ourselves (because we ACTUALLY desire and love righteousness and holiness), and have become ONE WITH his Spirit— as his Spirit is the one in charge of us, quite literally??


That’s to EVERY CHILD OF GOD— not just the prophets and apostles, pastors, evangelists and teachers—  ALL MEN.


As well— IF ANY MAN (that’s all) — ministers (or serves man and God) —let him do it as from the ability God has given to him, through his Spirit (who can accomplish any feat) —by his power and strength of his Spirit in operation within us— that gives, or furnishes us with (fills us with) —like the dance partner (two, becoming one, at the dance of life together) that he is— as he leads us about on the dancefloor of life in this journey together:  we— the woman (bride) led of the bridegroom, around the dancefloor of life.


And in living THAT WAYGod will be glorified in our lives, or—  honored, esteemed and magnified in Christ Jesus;  why in Christ Jesus?



Because it’s THROUGH HIM (the Doorway back to Father), doing life with and in Christ, yoked to him, married to him, upholding and honoring doing life with him— inside of our hearts/souls— that brings our Father, glory;  as we uphold Christ with praise and honor that he deserves— AS HE HOLDS THE DOMINION IN OUR EARTH:  he controls, leads, advises, corrects our course of actions/words/deeds— and Father’s us again— in the name of the Father himself.

12 “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial [the ignition of smelting:  refinement, calamity testing] —which is to try you [prove and discipline you through adversity] —as though it be some strange thing [foreign/alien thing] that happens [walk together— takes places, befalls and happens] to you:  13 But (instead) rejoice [be cheerful]— (because) inasmuch as you are partakers [share with, participate in, and distribute (divide up, assign and share) in you] of Christ's sufferings [and undertaking of hardship or pain— as well, an/in emotion or influence:  affection, affliction, motion, suffering] —when his glory [his dignity, brightness, magnificence, and majesty] shall be revealed [appear and manifest]— you will be glad also with exceeding joy.”

We are not to think it’s strange, bad or not normal for the child of God to go through refinements (fiery trials) —they are the ignition of the smelting process of God— to CHANGE US INTO HIS IMAGE AGAIN;  this is why I say something must be happening within our inner man, coming out of iniquity and unrighteousness— being cleansed by him (the word) and reformed by the Potter:  reformation.


He is here to cleanse us from all unrighteousness— those are actions and behavior (being) opposite of him and his holy/righteous nature:  he’s coming into us— to CORRECT US, to correct our course of actions:  our heading and disposition, our paths and ways— and that comes through hard times and trials that come forth to TEST US, or ‘prove us,’ or discipline us through adversity.



Proving something(one) —to establish the truth or genuineness of— as by evidence or argument: to prove one's claim.



God is setting out to test our authenticity, our genuineness, or resolute hearts, our pure hearts unto him;  if we are TRUE TO HIM, and TOWARD HIM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS— or not.  



[Seek ye first the kingdom of God— ‘and’ his righteousness.]




Adversity—  difficulties.



This is not a foreign operation that happens to, or— as we walk together with God’s Spirit— these things take place, befall and happen, to the child of God;  it is COMMON TO ALL, as even Christ was taught obedience through suffering. (Hebrews 5:8)



Be cheerful and rejoice, because— as much as we share with, participate in, and have the same sufferings [hardships and pain] Christ shared in— distributed (divide up, assign and shared) to/unto us…


We will also, when his glory, or— his dignity, brightness, magnificence, and majesty— shall appear, manifest and be revealed to us as well— we will REJOICE, EXCEEDINGLY:  tit for tat.

14 “If you are reproached [reviled and defamed] for the name of Christ— happy [extremely blessed and well off] are you; for the spirit [vital principle, mental disposition of God— Christ's Spirit— the Holy Spirit] of glory [divine dignity], and of God— rests [remains] upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of— but on your part —he is glorified.”

If people hate us, reject us, mock us, revile us and defame our person— for the sake of being one who exalts Christ (the God of holiness/righteousness) in our lives— WE ARE EXTREMELY BLESSED and well off (happy);  because it means the Spirit of God (the Spirit of glory:  divine dignity) REMAINS WITH US, and rests UPON US.


The world will call him evil (or righteous/holiness— bad);  but in our lives, on our part— HE IS GLORIFIED;  because we uphold him and his righteous/holiness AS DIVINE, BEAUTIFUL and WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.

15 “But let none of you suffer [passionately vexed] as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer [malefactor— person who commits crimes] —or as a busybody in other men's matters [overseeing others' affairs:  a meddler in other men's matters].”

1a) the name is transferred to— false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence— for their own gain.



None of God’s children will be of those who find themselves vexed in their souls (or overcome passionately and troubled) with being a murder (literal or figuratively/spiritual);  meaning— we will be of those who will not walk slandering other people (TO ANYONE), their character/name/reputation (will not gossip or defame another) to others;  and if we do— we will IMMEDIATELY REPENT TO GOD ‘and’ THAT PERSON:  making things right through true repentance.


Nor will we walk as thieves— or, people who steal from others— as well, we will not teach or walk in falsity— not caring to instruct other men in righteousness (how to conduct self properly according to the law of how God holy walks) —but instead seeking to sugar coat, placate and coddle to fleshly men— TO GAIN SOMETHING IN THIS WORLD FOR OURSELVES (they seek their own).



And children of God will not be evil doers, or malefactors— persons who commit crimes, actions against God’s nature and person;  nor will they operate as busy bodies in other men’s affairs of life (gossip about how Jim or Jill is living, what they are doing, how reprobate or in error they are) [overseeing others men’s affairs] as those who are meddlers in other men's matters of life.


A child of God does not participate in this demeanor or disposition of character and actions;  and if they do— they are to repent, turn from that— and lay it down, and it’s not to be picked up again;  and if it is— they immediately are convicted, and turn from it again— WITH DELIBERATE EFFORT, with and by the holy Spirit— TO STOP THIS BEHAVIOR, henceforth— until it’s ERADICATED.

So, if any man will suffer as a follower of Christ— meaning, their life is changing, they are heeding the voice of the Spirit of truth, and they stick out in this world— like a sore thumb— and are ridiculed and mocked, persecuted and rejected for it— do not be ashamed (or feel down);  it’s because you are walking this assignment out (the same one as Christ in the earth, and with his Spirit at the helm), on this behalf— your destiny and measure of the cup he gave you (like he did his Son as well) —that this is happening to you.


But also note— CORRECTION, and THE JUDGMENT of what a man is sowing— is coming to God’s household of people FIRST;  and that means— God is going to make decisions in each one of his children’s lives, (for or against "crimes” committed— that means, if righteousness is upheld— good judgment coming to be doled out, but if unrighteousness truly lived from that soul— an undesirable judgment comes forth);  to avenge, or condemned— he’s going to law (his kingdom and how it operates, by the decree of the Supreme Magistrate) to vindicate, or convict his household members first;  otherwise known as— his children, or the people who abide with his Spirit over them:  those who tabernacle with him, or claim to.



And if God is doing that with us— what will he do unto the rest of humanity who do not obey, or otherwise refuse his Holy Spirit, and willfully do not honor his righteous/holiness?


The people who refuse the good news, and the good news IS HIM— who has come unto all men, to tabernacle with humanity again, and to welcome him and his HOLY Spirit unto them, to reyoke (or rejoin) themselves to him— inside, now— and for all of eternity…


WHAT WILL BECOME OF THEM— if God is scrutinizing his own household first, and then doling out judgements to them— according to what they uphold (and whom) for real, inside:  those who willfully and perversely do not allow themselves to be persuaded by the Spirit of God (unto the truth), refuse him by withholding their belief in him, as well as THEIR OBEDIENCE to his Spirit/person— and refuse to COMPLY WITH HIM— the most Supreme Judge/magistrate??



The point here being— God is serious about our conduct, our reformation, our repentance, our sanctification and being consecrated vessels unto him— in truth, and he’s searching our souls daily to find out what is that truth;  and then proving us, or testing and trying us in his ignited smelting pot of the Refiner’s fiery trials of adversity— to see what we TRULY ARE‘under pressure.’

Under Pressure— force against, or influence upon— in contact with— pressed.


Adversity— Difficulty.



We have an adversary— and God uses the sparring with the adversary (who upholds the carnal nature, the temptation to walk fleshly and be tempted to do so by it) —to refine us, like a precious metal in a Refiner’s fire.  In these trials— we find out who we are truly, and who God’s Spirit/person is truly.  We are put under pressured situations, with influences upon us (both God’s and satan’s) —which causes difficulties (or as he tells me— ‘challenges,’ that challenge my resolve and character):  and in all this— THAT IS HOW WE RESUME HIS IMAGE, and our inner workings become those of his inner workings, of his person— and two become ONE SPIRIT, together, yoked and refined back into his way, shape, conduct— and with him, his Spirit:  we find ourselves being as he is.

So—  if the righteous, or theequitable (fair and just) in character and actions, innocent and holy— those who uphold the divine law (character), and uphold the command of God— who is wholly conformed to the will of God, and needs no rectification in the heart or life (only Christ— truly) and who is approved of, or acceptable to God— are scarcely saved…


This means— Christ is the only one righteous, and we need to be YOKED to him, his Spirit, and his Spirit needs to be fully in operation within us— guiding, commanding, correcting, leading, disciplining our souls (as he’s the only righteous one, and deserving of the role of raising up godly children duplicates of himself:  God and his Spirit in a carnate body).


And the only way we will be seen as that judgment (how Father sees Christ, flawless and holy) —will be because we choose, by an act of our will, to uphold the Righteous one, the holy one, the King of Righteousness himself— and because we SOUGHT TO BE righteous as he is (returned to his image, and it fully functioning in us, by his Spirit) —and EFFORTED WITH GOD— in the reformation process of our souls in this realm:  no longer the old man nature, but renewed in new conduct and actions of— in this realm, in our souls/hearts, and in life:  truly ALIVE IN CHRIST NOW.



With DIFFICULTY, and MUCH WORK— the righteous are saved, or— DELIVERED and made SAFE in Christ:  rescued and saved from the evils (which obstruct the reception of Messiah’s deliverance);  all by ACCEPTING and RECEIVING ‘righteousness’ INTO US (Christ ‘is’ righteousness/holiness).



WE CHOOSE TO BECOME (be), LIVE, WALK

and UPHOLD (exalt) RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHIN OUR PERSON/VESSELS/TEMPLES/SOULS!!



This is salvation (reconciling to him), sanctification (coming into truth and righteousness) and consecration (making him sacred, his whole person/persona and way) of our vessels/temples/person/souls to him:  this is the proper definition of BEING SAVED FROM EVIL, HELL, SIN/INIQUITY/TRANSGRESSION OF HIM, and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS —that all comes with a sentencing— in the judgment— at the end of time:  it’s being ‘true,’ y’all.



True—  real, genuine, actual, accurately exacted, exactly in tune, measured relative to true north, correctly positioned, balanced, or aligned— upright or level, accurately conformed to a standard, loyal or faithful, honest and without variation (no shadow of turning), bring (a construction) into the exact shape, alignment, or position required;  root definition— Old English trēowe, trȳwe ‘steadfast, loyal’; related to Dutch getrouw, German treu, also to truce.

He is expecting us to be true;  he is expecting us to be genuine/authentic, exactly in tune with him, pointed true north (at him) in our souls— becoming balanced, positioned in Christ and aligned, being uprighted by him now (quickened/justified/changed), conformed to his standard and loyal to him and it (righteousness) without variation or shadow of turning— to come into the exact shape/alignment required— being STEADFAST IN OUR LOYALTY TO HIM:  ‘this’ is what we are being proved of, tested in, and tried of— our INNER GUTS and OPERATIONS of the ‘true’ state of our souls toward him, ‘and’ HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.



He’s looking to see if we have ‘really’ ceased being enemies of him (those who do not uphold his ways of righteous holiness, his conduct and person);  and if we have truly STOPPED KICKING AGAINST HIS PRODDINGS (pricks) TO REFORM OUR PERSON (have we stopped arguing with him, and opposing him ‘and’ his righteousness)??



Have we truly ‘become’ BELIEVERS, who trust in him (hold dear to, and yoke with), laying our soulish lives down— stepping out of (ceasing from) the carnal ways of sin— and stepping into life in Christ, life in righteousness/holiness and the person of??



If the righteous be scarcely saved— where shall the ‘ungodly,’ 

or the— irreverent ‘sinners’ appear??




Ungodly—  impious (no respect or reverence), condemning God— destitute of reverential awe towards God.


Condemn— complete disapproval, sentenced judicially to a punishment or death (which is to be estranged, or removed from, God), officially declare— unfit for use, prove or show the guilt of.


Irreverent—   having or showing a lack of respect for someone or something that is usually treated with respect : treating someone or something in a way that is not serious or respectful.


Sinner— sinful (full of sin, or sinful ways/conduct/actions), one devoted to sin, not free from sin, pre-eminently sinful:  being superior in sin, especially wicked.




If the righteous go through a scrutinizing process of refinement, analysis by God, expectation of coming into oneness, agreement, submission, and being reformed back into his image, through adversity, proving and trying us in fiery trials…


What will come of those who walk with no respect toward God, his person, his ways of righteous/holiness, and condemn him (completely disapprove of him, his ways and disposition being erected inside of them— by his Spirit [see why blaspheming the holy Spirit in rejection of him— is the unpardonable sin?], being estranged from him/removed from him, and officially declared unfit for use of his holy Spirit to indwell— because they are destitute of reverential awe towards God??



What becomes of them??  


[eternal estrangement, and before that— unpleasant judgments of sow and reap in the earthly life.]



So then— go through the suffering or experiences of vexation in this lifetime, just as Christ endured— with the undertaking upon him of hardships and pain, as well as being influenced emotionally in affliction of his soul… and rejoice;  for according to the will of God— the determination, choice— purpose, and decree of volition, desire, and pleasure of God, the HIGHEST MAGISTRATE/JUDGE EXALTED IN YOU you endure these things— as did Christ incarnate, and now incarnate again in you— via his Spirit resting (remaining) in and with you, as you have become one in Spirit (by upholding him, his ways and righteousness and holiness within you:  to BECOME YOU).



And in this— we are committing our souls, or— placing ourselves (souls) alongside (yoked, tandem/double yoke partnership) to him, and we —present— as in deposit (as a trust or for protection) our souls to him:  commending them to him, committing them to him [consummating a relationship], and putting them forth— set our souls before him (otherwise known as— laying down our lives to him, on the altar— to be led of his Spirit, not our own souls).


And we do this because he is virtuous, and we are walking in virtue— or the right course of action— and we are faithful to him;  we can be trusted to be true to our Creator— our God, who authored all things (or designed and made all things).



This is what it is to reverence God in salvation;  he gave us himself to reconcile to— and we take him seriously, whole-heartedly or whole soul, and devote ourselves to him, yoking to him— exalting righteous living and holiness— and BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST— for he is in us, yoked to us, and we uphold his Spirit in us, exalted as most highly regarded inside us:  this is true salvation;  this is what it is to not take for granted the free gift (him) given to us all— and to revere God, IN TRUTH— GENUINELY/AUTHENTICALLY.



It is why the ‘righteous— are scarcely saved;’  because there is a relationship of authenticity— man to God, and God to man— that must be in honesty taking place:  no one, on that day— will say to him— anything other than the truth;  each man will give an account for what he does in his body.



Romans 14:12

“So then every one of us shall give account— of himself— to God.”



I do not argue hyper-grace with anyone;  meaning— people who believe they can walk the same ways they used to walk— before they ‘accepted’ Christ.  Because if one is ‘true’ —they will have TRULY ACCEPTED CHRIST ‘and’ RIGHTEOUSNESS/HOLINESS to come into them, reforming them, changing them through the full turnaround from unrighteous living (for it’s his opponent).


They can claim all day long, everyday— that Christ forgives their past, current and future sins— THAT THEY STILL WALK IN;  but folks— it's just not true;  because continued in, willful sin— has no more sacrifice for them.



Hebrews 10:26-27

“For if we sin wilfully— after we have received the knowledge of the truth— there remains no more sacrifice for sins— But a certain fearful looking for (forward to) —of judgment and fiery indignation— which shall devour the adversaries.”




We are HIS ADVERSARYif we will WILLFULLY WALK INwhat he does not;  and if we are hypocritical (Pharisaical) in claiming we uphold his family name— and yet walk in iniquity (transgression of his ways he conducts his person);  we BECOMEthe adversary of Christ:  the one who OPPOSES GOD.




2 Thessalonians 2:4

“(He) who opposes and exalts himself— above all that is called God— or that is worshiped; so that he— as God— sits in the temple of God— showing himself that he is God.”



This means— there is a pharisaical person (hypocrite), who will claim God’s name (which means character and actions) in their life— but who will be saying it with lips, but with their soul— they swim in iniquitous living/lifestyle— and are unashamed to changed it (defaming the name of God with their lives).


The have become people who oppose God (opposite of), who exalt (or raise up their own ways and choices, even if God doesn’t do what they are) THEMSELVES (this is hyper-grace, when taking advantage of God’s graciousness)... as they put themselves (what they want to do, have or be) ABOVE ALL THAT IS GOD.



This means— his ways, his Spirit’s fruit operations, his demeanor, disposition, character, actions and conduct by which he conducts his person, his nature and attributes— are THROWN DOWN— inside the irreverent person (sinner/ungodly), and not EXALTED/RAISED or LIFTED UP INTO POSITION, within their hearts/souls.


So— they become WORSHIPERS OF SELF WAYS, not God, nor godly ways.


And they sit in the throne ‘as god,’ showing themselves to BE GOD;  which means— “I say what goes, and I say what God will accept of my behavior, and I am THE JUDGE OF ALL THINGS IN ‘my’ life.”



Sins are forgiven, God said— AFTER— one humbles himself.



2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people— who are called by my name— shall HUMBLE THEMSELVES, pray (that means commune with him directly, reverently), seek my face (that means his countenance as King of little kings— high dominion), and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven —AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN— and will heal their land.”



He is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)



He never changes his way;  he remains constant;  if he said this to the people that called themselves ‘his,’ back then— he is the same to those who call themselves ‘his,’ even now.  And we have a requirement— right at the git-go— and that is to HUMBLE ‘ourselves’ before his person, REVERENTLY and HONESTLY— seeking his face as King of kings, and LORD (master of all his) of little lords.



But then we have another truth (and detailed order to observe), and that is— TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS;  that means— former old man carnal/fleshly/lustful ways— HAS TO GO;  and we BECOME THE NEWLY CREATED MAN IN CHRIST JESUS (the new creation in Christ).



THEN— and only then— will he hear from the throne room (heaven— because until then— we are opposing him, fighting against him and righteousness— and he RESISTS the proud/sinners);  and only AFTER HE HEARS FROM THE THRONE ROOM— where he is NOW being EXALTED, for real, inside that man— WILL HE FORGIVE THEIR SIN (trespasses against him):  because only then— are they truly seeking forgiveness of their sins, as they TURN FROM THEM— to do them no more.



Then— because righteousness and the King of, is now being exalted (the truth) for real, inside that man— GOD WILL HEAL HIS LAND (person), making him WHOLE, SAVED, RECONCILED, REJOINED, FORGIVEN and ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED, and into the FAMILY OF GOD— by the Spirit of Adoption.



I pray we begin to understand all this sir;  because if not— we remain ignorant— and perish for a lack of knowledge in the truth— and vision of the beloved, for real— upheld within them.



Hosea 4:6

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge (that would be in him and righteousness)— I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me (and his family— is a family of holy priests, righteous priests): seeing you have forgotten the law (conduct and ways) of your God— I will also forget your children.”


Proverbs 29:18

“Where there is no vision (of God, truth, his ways, united to him— in those goals) the people perish: but he who keeps the law (conduct, and the conducting of God in his life) —happy [blessed] is he.”



We must know him, and we must exalt him and his righteousness— this is to humble ourselves and lay our fleshly and lustful (wanting what we want to do and be) —lives down to him (lay down = humble, down low living) —and exaltation of him and his ways and leadership within us, TRUTHFULLY.



For where we do not observe God, his ways, his conduct, his person, his righteousness and holiness within our vessels, all day, everyday— we perish— for if we are not… we are exalting unrighteousness and the ‘god’ of that way— which is satan, and self exaltation— in operations opposite of God holy, and in hypocrisy:  claiming with lips— but with souls/hearts that live opposite how he does, that do not lift him up inside.



And we only have one lifetime to get this right folks;  

ONE LIFETIME IN THE EARTH.



If one has not truly accepted righteousness— if one is shunning becoming holy as he is holy, and walking in his righteousness, and becoming his righteousness FULFILLED IN US (Romans 8) —one is still sided with the satanic nature, still rebellious in the garden, and has not come to actually humble themselves down before God, apologize for abandoning him in righteousness and his leadership in their lives (the original fall of man) —and declaring to him a FULL TURNAROUND, to exalt him, welcome him and righteousness and leadership back into them again;  thereby rectifying, or reforming that which became perverted/twisted and out of shape (his) in our lives/souls/temples.


THAT— is truly accepting Christ, his holy spotless blood, person, ways, and law in our members (souls) —and that is what salvation is;  a true reconciling— a true SAVE— from estrangement and ill/death conduct operations within the souls of men:  the saving of people— by the life (person) of God coming back into them, to unite to his Spirit, who has a conduct about him— that we REVERE, EXALT, and DESIRE TO WALK IN/BECOME incarnate— ourselves:  and then, for all of eternity.




It is true that the legal penalty of sin has been remitted for all people— IF— they will ‘accept’ the King of righteousness in their souls.  That means— one has to OFFICIALLY ACCEPT RIGHTEOUSNESS TO DOMINATE INSIDE OF THEM— and will no longer— KICK AGAINST THE PRICKS of that nature being erected inside of their souls.



Without this— the legal penalty was paid— but you never received the payment (you were never bought by his payment of blood) —because you BUCKED/REJECTED RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Not every one that says to me— Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but (or except only) he who does the will of my Father which is in heaven.


Many will say to me in that day— Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name— have cast out devils, and in your name done many wonderful works?


And then will I profess unto them— I never knew you: depart from me, you who work iniquity.”




We cannot continue to work iniquity (continued sin/transgression of him and his ways: righteousness and holiness, and his command in/over us) —and expect to DO THE WILL OF GOD;  which means— his good pleasure and desires (not ours).  And he said— ONLY THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER— will ‘enter into’ the kingdom of heaven (that’s his family).



You see— THAT— is because when we begin to walk out his righteousness, because we have truly exalted it, him and the truth in us— WE HAVE BECOME THE CHILDREN OF GOD— who do their Father’s ways, bidding, and good pleasure in the earth;  because it is THE FATHER DOING IT WITH THEM, THROUGH THEM— of ‘his own workings’ in them.



And because HE WILL BE WORKING IN THEM— we all (humanity and all people) will KNOW— who are his true children and not— because their FRUIT will prove they are his duplicate;  fruit is a duplicate of the tree it came from:  the tree of life in Christ Jesus.



Every other tree— is CUT DOWN in the end;  best WE CUT IT DOWN OURSELVES— and raise him up within, by humbling ourselves— coming to the truth, and exalting him and his righteousness within.



John 14:10

“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? And the words that I speak unto you— I speak not of myself— but the Father who dwells in me— he does the works?”



We are KNOWN by how the Father is, or is notALLOWED TO DO HIS WORKS (of his person) IN OUR VESSELS;  and those who allow him to (those who exalt him and righteousness within them, in this lifetime) —will be KNOWN— by HIS FRUIT— pouring forth from their lives;  as they went through the FIRE— and came out purified, cleansed, reformed, obedient, polished, refined (ruin/impurities released) and in union with the Spirit of the Holy and True God.



THIS— is why the righteous are scarcely saved (with much effort— working out their salvation with fear and trembling), and why the ungodly sinners (those who continue to offend and transgress his way, fully refusing him and his righteousness) —will be estranged from him forever, whom he does not even hear the cries of.



We must understand salvation— it is for full reconciliation, and full saving;  and the saving— is saving man from himself, and leading his life by his own reasoning, as his own judge and magistrate— approving for himself, seeing in his own eyes or reasoning— what is right. 



Proverbs 21:2-3

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord ponders the hearts.  To do justice and judgment– is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”



We must be TRUE TO GOD, and do what is JUST, in GOOD JUDGMENT (righteousness, his, by his leadership in us) —for he has given himself to us in faithfulness, and he is weighing the truth of our souls (hearts);  and doing justice and good godly judgment is acceptable to him (fit for use, and received).



Are we giving him back a life (ours, our souls) for a life (his living soul given, life) —one laid down for the other??



Because in this— exists (remains and rests) True Salvation.
