Remitting of Sins

“The intercessions of the priesthood”

(Remission, Intercession/Intercessor/Interjecter)

[Video zoom link to this teaching: ]

_______________________________________

Remission— the cancellation of a debt, charge or penalty, a respite of the seriousness or intensity of a disease or pain, forgiveness of sin— a pardon; root definition— Middle English: from Old ‘send back, restore’ French, or from Latin remissio(n- ), from remittere (see remit).

Remit— cancel or refrain from exacting or inflicting a debt or punishment, refer a matter to an authority, send payment or a gift, consign again to a previous state; same root definition— late Middle English: from Latin remittere ‘send back, restore’, from re- ‘back’ + mittere ‘send’.

H6293 – Intercessor

Hebrew: פּגע

Transliteration: pâga‛

Pronunciation: paw-gah'

Definition: A primitive root; to impinge [encroach with an impact— thrust forcibly]— by accident or violence, or (figuratively) by importunity [annoying persistence]: come between, cause to entreat, fall upon, make intercession, intercessor, light upon, meet together, pray and reach.

“An intercessor,” he said to me— “is an ‘interjector,’ that is one who abruptly interrupts— introduce, intervene, cut in, have one’s say;” root definition— late 16th century: from Latin interject- ‘interposed’, from the verb interjicere, from inter- ‘between’ + jacere ‘to throw’.

Isaiah 59:1-2, 8-10, 14-15, 17-20

“Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy— that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God— and your sins have hid his face from you— that he will not hear.”

_________

The next verses go on to speak of iniquitous sinners, a people who know not, nor conduct themselves in the ways of the heavenly kingdom, nor that of righteousness; and why, and how it has affected them, that they know not the paths of righteousness, but unrighteousness.

In these cases, because of their sin— God does not hear them— but he does hear the heart of a priestly intercessor, who is under the leadership of the Most High God, and his Spirit: the mediator himself, in the Messiah— who now— is in the children of God.

_________

8

“The way of peace [rest, safety, to do well and be whole] they know not; and there is no judgment [divine law of discretion, in manner or ordinance] in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace [rest, safety, to do well and be whole].”

______

His point here, that the reprobate, or those unaligned with God holy and his righteousness— are of transgression to his ways and person, and lawless against the kingdom of righteousness— for they do not know the God or righteousness, or are estranged from him.

In this they do not judge or discern proper conduct along the paths of righteousness, and are thereby ensnared of the carnal nature and the devil— they are ignorant offenders (offensive, but unlearned toward the law or conduct of the kingdom of God— divine law of discretion— in manner or ordinance).

They do not know peace— rest, safety, and how to do well and be whole with God— and so need a priestly intercessor, who also wears a crown with Christ (dominion rule), because the High Priest and High King is in them, and they in him— seated in heavenly places, and what he decrees takes precedence in both heaven and earth (people’s earthen vessels and lives).

_______

9

“Therefore judgment is far from us, neither does justice overtake us: we wait for light— but behold obscurity, for brightness— but we walk in darkness.

We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.”

_______

The condition of the transgressor, the one in whom still sins or offends against the most high; the one who walks in darkness, with godly judgment or protocol of conduct far from him— like the spiritually blind men that they are— they walk in desolate places as dead men— because death is estrangement from God, and estrangement from God is because of disagreement— where 2 are separate, and do not agree, having not been made 1, together, in unity.

Hence— the need for an intercessor, and intervener— one who does walk with the righteous God, in the order of Melchizedek, and has the High Priest’s Spirit within them, making intercessions for the sinners, and remitting sins (transgressions) through mercy, forgiveness and love: the priestly child of God, who has returned to his image within— will have the living God work straight through them, performing his priestly duties in their flesh, unto the flesh or lives of others.

Sacrificial living in purity, in and of the priesthood— that leaves a vessel of honor for the High King and Priest to indwell, use and set those in bonds free: for the Lord God is upon me, for he himself hath anointed me to set the captives free.

It is his Spirit that makes the intercessions through the flesh vessels he has now embodies in his priesthood— and they rule and reign with him, as he wears the crown, and has taken dominion of their vessel, for his own.

______

14

“And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street— and equity [integrity and truth, uprightness] cannot enter.

[And this displeased the Lord, that there was no judgment.]

And he saw that there was no man— and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness— it sustained him.”

______

Just judgment only comes from the Spirit of God, and the Spirit of God rests upon and indwells his children— the children of righteousness; it falls in the streets, meaning, in the people abroad— when he himself is not upheld within, and lawlessness is allowed to flourish (the carnal fallen nature).

We need the priesthood, because we need the High Priest; those in his priesthood carry his Spirit to do his works in the earth (people).

It is his arm, or dominion and power of righteousness that brings salvation to all— and his priests (those who have returned to his image within, in righteousness upheld, holiness walked out, and mercy and love demonstrated abroad) —will allow HIS Spirit to fulfill righteousness in them first— and then carry it abroad with mercy, love, forgiveness and dominion in this realm: we need the priestly intercessors, for they are those the Lord INTERJECTS into situations, to bring in justice and judgment, according to his will.

______

17-18

“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate (his heart), and a helmet of salvation upon his head (his mind of Christ to save); and he put on the garments of vengeance [to avenge] for clothing, and was clad with zeal [jealousy and envy] as a cloak.

According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries [his enemy opponents], recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.

_____

He puts righteousness to his heart, and salvation to his mind; his priests will recall a tender heart and mind to save others as well, pulling them out of the fire.

He has an adversary— but is principalities and powers, spirits that come against man, for our fight is not with flesh and blood— so he will go after them, and thereby set men free— by laying down vengeance, avenging those who desire to TURN AWAY from that walk of unrighteousness and transgression against him and his kingdom; for he has a jealous love for people, and to desire that none should perish, but that all would repent and be saved.

_____

19-20

So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west [in the sense of shading— from the sun], and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood— the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard [a displayed flight] against him.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion— and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob— says the Lord.”

_______________

Isn’t it quite amazing that our God will cause the ‘shady spirits,’ who are in darkness from the sun (Son), flee in a display of flight— when he lifts up his dominion against him (the darkness), with his light.

And in this, those who desire to TURN FROM TRANSGRESSION— and isn’t that the point, Jesus set those free whom Father sent him to, for they were desiring to repent and come out from transgressing him and his righteousness— and he will come to Zion (the holy city of the people of righteousness), and uphold his dominion there.

The High Priest who intercedes, and leads all of his children to intercede on behalf of a sinful generation who need mercy and forgiveness— to see his goodness, and to desire to repent, turning, and fully embracing him— is just as necessary as his crown, his kingship rule; for the it is the priestly part of God (who is person is), that will carry out his dominion (the crown as high king) in the earth: one without the other does not work.

The priestly children of God, will walk out his dominion, putting a show to principalities and powers of darkness— because they returned to his shape in their inner man, first; and secondly, because they have been seated in heavenly places of dominion, with Christ, for they are in Christ, and Christ in them.

It is the dominion of Christ, that he himself through his Spirit, expresses abroad in the earth— through his children; his cleaned up, priestly, pure hearted, subordinate and submissive children— who were the family crown with their Father, who is seated above all principalities and powers.

It is not of their merit that they reign with him— but of his merit and dominion— that rules them, and through them.

______

1 Timothy 2:1-7

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions [an interview], and giving of thanks— be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable [keeping one’s seat still] life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior— Who will have all men to be saved— and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

_____

Intercessions here in the Strong’s says to ‘interview,’ which is to say, pour over a topic or situation, discern, and detail it out; isn’t this what we do when we intercede on behalf of someone with our God, and our high Priest as we interject ourselves into the situation, pulling in the will of God for this person’s life?

And in that we are peaceable, or keep our seat— secure, firm and in faith that God is taking dominion with our pleas and interjecting his will and dominion rule— into another’s life, on behalf of them— to intervene in their affairs.

Who desires that all would be saved. Do we? Are we giving our lives in broken intercessions for them, and declaring the decree of the high King, through our priestly duties of intercession?

For the decree of the king, through mercy, love, forgiveness, and deliberate intercession (interjection) —subjects the spirits behind the people and situations.

For the spirits are subject to us, because he and his family name— have taken up dominion in us.

_____

3

For there is one God, and one mediator [intercessor, reconciler] between God and men— the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all— to be testified in due time.

Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.”

______

One mediator— the Spirit of God in Christ Jesus, and now in the New Covenant— in us, testifying continually; it is his Spirit that puts the show to all other principalities, for he is above them (in rule), and we are in him, and he in us— now still interceding, if we are walking out the priesthood and the kingship properly, as priests and kings under God.

Our lives too will testify of this, as he was tested in due time.

Because we are ordained spiritually by him as well, and because we are teaching also, to the Gentiles— or the nations of people, who yet need to meet him; and in intercessions, or injecting ourselves into the affairs of men who desire to come out of transgressing the living God— he will lay down his dominion, and through his earthen priesthood now, who walk in faith and verity as well.

Faith here is— moral conviction and persuasion of credence, reliance upon Christ, and constancy— truth itself; and verity is— truth.

These of his will walk in truth, not recite it, or memorize it only— but will walk in truth, conviction of his moral credence, and they will rely on HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS upheld, and will remain steadfast, resolute and constant in upholding covenant with him: these are the priesthood of God, who intercede (or are interjecting the will and dominion of God) on behalf of a people who need mercy, forgiveness, love and sacrifice.

______

Isaiah 53

“Who has believed our report— and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people— was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin— he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days— and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”

______

It is HE who walks in righteous love, mercy, and intercession— or interjecting himself into the affairs of men— because he wishes for none to perish, but that all would repent and turn to God, godliness and righteousness.

It was his sacrifice and life that has brought salvation— and remission of sins, and deliverance— is the healing of man, brought back into union with a holy God and creator.

He suffered and was afflicted— his servants will be too, in their spirits, as his Spirit speaks and reveals his heart and will for the people; it is his good pleasure to afflict the heart of the intercessor— for in the affliction of the heart, its softness toward the brethren— does the love of God, in truth and dominion— touch the lives of the transgressor, and witness God holy to them: for it is his goodness that causes the repentance of man.

We are his seed, his duplicates, duplicated out into the earth— of which his very Spirit indwells even now; and through our brokenness and humility in servitude, as our High Priest has demonstrated to us— we too will set captives free, through mercy and forgiveness, love and intercessions (or interjections), and pull many from the fire.

______

“He shall see of the travail of his soul— and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great— and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

_________________

We too will pour out our souls unto the death of the carnal identity and nature, and will resume our God’s shape once again within; and in doing so, we will bear the burden and sin of many, carrying them to his face, and will make intercession for the transgressor.

This is a gift, and a shared affliction with our Lord, it is intimacy— to share one heart and will for the people.

Because it is his Spirit in us, as we are in Christ, and Christ in us— it is the Spirit of God that remits the sins, through us, and desires for all to be saved— Romans 8:26

“...the Spirit itself makes intercession for us…”

Romans 8:14, 17, 27, 29, 34, 35, 38-39

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

17

…And if children, then heirs— heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…

27

And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints —according to the will of God.

[As he teaches us to do as well now, led of his Spirit

and through the resurrected tabernacle (heart)

of David— in the last days.]

29

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son— that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

34

Who is he that condemns? It is Christ who died— yea rather, that is risen again— who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

[And he in us, and we in him— thereby 2, become of

one Spirit, One mind, One heart, and

one will— his; shared through his Spirit

with him, who in ours— has become one with him.

We will move as he moves— for he will move us through

our submission and subordination to him,

and in our agreeance with him:

Our will is now his, and his good pleasure is what we desire to bring into the earth, and to the people.]

35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come— Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature— shall be able to separate us from the love of God— which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

__________________

And it is that love that will desire to set the captives free; and that dominion they share, for they are seated together (he and his ruling and reigning children with him) in heavenly places, in Him (Christ Jesus) —to whom all principalities and powers bow to, both now and forever.

Romans 11:2, 5-7, 31-32, 33

“God has not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture says of Elias (Elijah)? …how he makes intercession to God…

5-7

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election [selection] of grace [the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life— graciousness].

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

[There is blindness that works where grace does not;

and God has people selected of grace, which is graciousness

in them, working in them— that has a divine influence

upon their hearts— which reflects the heart of life itself

(or himself, for he is life).

They are a people who carry the grace, or graciousness of God.]

31-32

Even so these have also not believed (the transgressors) —that through your mercy —they also may obtain mercy.

For God has concluded them all in unbelief— that he might have mercy upon all.

[These need to see the goodness of God, and it will bring

them to repentance; through us, he desires to show them his

mercy, so they will obtain or receive unto themselves— mercy.

And mercy is forgiveness of transgressing sin.

They are judged, and concluded to be in unbelief— but we,

of the priesthood, are believers, who walk in God’s graciousness,

mercy, and forgiveness— laying our lives down in death,

that his LIFE may be resurrected in us.

We are his hands and feet, his heart and will in the earth,

and unto humanity— and through intercession, or interjection of his will, unto a sinful generation— he can witness himself, and his goodness to them— and bring his mercy, in hopes of full repentance, and to join his family, through that repentance and turning to him.]

33

O the depth of the riches— both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments— and his ways past finding out!”

__________________

Hebrews 7:12, 15-17, 22, 24-25

“For the priesthood being changed— there is made of necessity— a change also of the law.

[The law of the Spirit of Life— in Christ Jesus, by his leadership

in our lives— according to the will, grace and mercy of God: the law being the conduct walked out, and adhered to— this of the Spirit of God.]

15-17

And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there arises another priest— Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment— but after the power of an endless life.

For he testifies— Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec.

22

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

24-25

But this man, because he continues ever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

Wherefore he is able also to save them— to the uttermost— who come unto God by him— seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

26-28

For such a high priest became us— who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners— and made higher than the heavens; Who needs not daily— as those high priests— to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did it once— when he offered himself up.

For the law makes men high priests who have infirmity; but the word of the oath (serious declaration and statement), which was since the law— the Son— who is consecrated [complete, accomplished, consummated in character— perfected] for evermore.”

__________________

It is he who works through us, stopping principalities and powers of wicked darkness, through his high rule and holiness— for where the light is, the darkness flees— as he lays down a standard in the earth.

Since the law, is the Son and his covenant; and he is consecrated, which is to say— complete, accomplished, and has consummated the relationship to our Father, in his character is perfected; and he is in us, and we in him— reconcile twain into one Spirit now.

He has come a second time in his priestly children, and he will lay down dominion through them in this realm— especially as he desires for none to perish but that all would repent and be saved.

He will work his will, his mercy, his grace and his love through his children— as well as his dominion; for these priestly children have regained the ruined tabernacle of David, within— a heart after God, not just following God, but AFTER GOD. Which is to say— a heart after holiness, righteousness, graciousness, mercy, forgiveness, meekness, humility, servitude, love, kindness, patience, and forbearance of our brethren.

These have consummated the intimate relationship with God, and abide with his Spirit, and his Spirit has dominion of their vessel— and these will pull others from the fire; they will lay down dominion in the earth (vessels), and they will subject spirits to the will of God.

For it is their God— who works through them.

_____

Philippians 2:13

“For it is God which works in you —both to will, and to do —of his good pleasure.”

_____

It is the High Priest who intercedes through his children, and it is the High King, who rules his lesser kings— and does his will, pleasure and rule through them— unto the transgressors he desire to reconcile to himself; and it is his witness of his goodness in them— that will cause sinners to repent.

Putting a show to principalities and powers— is just part of that love, mercy, grace and desire to reconcile with them; and his children share his heart in this.
