So, to summarize all these Strong’s definitions of pride, we have: ARROGANCE, EXCELLENCY, MAJESTY, POMP, SWELLING, ORNAMENTAL (that’s seeing self as a decoration, jewel, beautiful— decking of self), RAGING, ELATION (or elevated— root meaning, raised), GRANDEUR, ARROGANCE, HAUGHTY, HEIGHT, LOFTY, EXALTATION, ELATION, TO STRUT, A SNARE, TO ENVELOPE WITH SMOKE— that is (figuratively) → to INFLATE WITH SELF CONCEIT, BRAGGADOCIOS— SELF CONFIDENCE.

So, to recap once again, pride can be arrogant, as it describes how excellent we are, or have, or walk in; it can place one’s self as
‘most high,’ or majesty on high —within— and is always focusing on self.
It can be puffy— with pomp, swelling, grandeur, haughtiness, high in height internally and elated with, and lofty in— exalting self.
It can envelop someone, consuming them all around as it speaks and presents itself in all conversations and situations, internal and public— as it envelopes one like a smoke of inflated self conceit (ego), as braggadocios and self confident— and it can rage about.
PRIDE— is ornamental, as it is worn and displayed— as one decorates themselves with it.
PRIDE— is self focus, negatively, or positively; it is self in a spotlight all the time.
When we walk in PRIDE, we— speak, think, care about and focus on SELF all the time; we struggle to present others, as— more important, preferred, honored or valued— and we place our needs, wants, feelings, thoughts, desires, attitudes, opinions, facts, perceptions and all important focus— upon OURSELVES, instead.
Let’s see what the dictionary
definition of pride is.
PRIDE— a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired. Consciousness of one’s own dignity; The quality of having an excessively high opinion of oneself or one's importance.
The best state or condition of something: the Prime.
A group of lions.
Root definition— excessive self esteem.
ESTEEM— respect and admiration for a person, consider one; root definition— ‘to estimate or appraise’ ‘worth, reputation’ and ‘assess the merit of.’
____________________
PRIDE— in its common description is SELF INFLATED, SELF EXALTATION, SELF IN ESTEEM.
It is when we focus on POINTING SELF OUT and SETTING SELF ON HIGH, and ESPECIALLY TO OTHERS— with and emphasis on:
→ Look over here at what I have, do, know, say, think, believe, who I run with, how I see it, what I want, what I don’t want, what I like, what I don’t like — and how other’s— feelings, considerations, thinking, beliefs, who they associate with, how they see it, what they want, what they don’t want, what they like, what they don’t like— DOESN’T MATTER, LIKE HOW YOU MATTER: FIRST, and FOREMOST OF IMPORTANCE— is what SELF ‘needs.’
As well as speaking of, and pointing out…
What you don’t have, are wrong about, need correction on, should do, shouldn’t do, have faults and flaws in, are judgmental and critical of in negative terms, see as everyone’s shortcomings— while one lacks the ability to build others up or exalt them, says one thing— lives another— hypocrisy, is vapid and superficial— surface level depth of character and value, holds grudges, has a hard time with forgiveness, stews in moods over perceived injustices, believes they deserve some certain treatment— as one will tell you how you are falling short of serving them, as one lives anxious and worries, analytical but negatively so with others (means picks out everyone’s issues— before everyone’s strengths or giftings, does what they want to— without regard for others, prefers no one over self, often is very unhappy inside, cannot see past their own chest (heart).
It is when no one else is around to uplift us, and exalt us, that pride says— “WE WILL DO IT OURSELVES.”
→ *secret FEAR— being forgotten and disappearing into nonexistence.
It is when one CANNOT SEE THEMSELVES— as GOD SEES THEM, and knows them to be in TRUE IDENTITY.
Now….
Let’s discuss the ‘other’ side of PRIDE, self focus— negatively.
It’s when we focus on POINTING SELF OUT and TEARING DOWN SELF, or SELF ABASEMENT— with an emphasis on:
→ Poor me, woe is me, injustices against me, perceived as forsaken by God or others, undeserving, disadvantaged of— wants, desires, comforts or lack of, minded on negative or critical circumstances in one’s life, focus on the terrible— with lack of focus on the hopeful, helpless, hopeless, doubtful— wavering in trust to God (faith), pessimistic about one’s life/person, negative beliefs of one’s character or traits, living in memory lane of trauma or woe— and feeding and watering it, allowing self focus to emotionally depress or drag them down…
essentially…
It is when no one else is around to rip us apart, or tear us down and debase our value, pride says— “WE WILL DO IT OURSELVES:” it is self focus with a specialty in DEVALUING and DEBASING, with DISDAIN— our own lives of value.
*Secret FEAR— being forgotten, and disappearing into nonexistence.
It is when one CANNOT SEE THEMSELVES— as GOD SEES THEM, and knows them to be in TRUE IDENTITY.
👇
*Notice, they are BOTH in FEAR, and both are EXALTING SELF into the ‘spotlight;’ one in a positive/puffed up ‘light,’ and the other in self abasing/lowering of worth— dark ‘light:’ light meaning— emphasis and spotlight— highlighted and showcased to the forefront of conversation or recognition.
____________________
One side of the PRIDE OF THE FLESH/LIFE coin is: ripping down OTHERS (depressing, pressing them down, abasing them— lowering them), as we RAISE self, into a valuable position.
The other side of the same PRIDE OF THE FLESH/LIFE coin, is: ripping down SELF (depressing, pressing them down, abasing them— lowering self), as we RAISE only others into a valuable position.
But either way— self is the focal point; because whether we raise or lower others, or self—
we are FOCUSED ON → OURSELVES.
We are either SELF FOCUSED on ‘shortcomings’ of ourselves, or we are SELF FOCUSED on ‘loftiness,’ of ourselves; one lowers others as LESS VALUABLE than us— and the other raises others as MORE VALUABLE than us: but the emphasis is on the ‘THAN US’ part.
Pride is always focusing on SELF— either negatively and abasingly, or lofty and with self conceit: but both are SELF EXALTATION.
How??
Because BOTH— ‘exalt’ SELF— inside, as MOST HIGHLY REGARDED ONE; and that position is for our God.
PRIDE— is essentially ‘self focus,’ and self focus places one in ESTEEM: SELF- ESTEEM.
And we are to ‘esteem’ only ONE in that Most High position: God Almighty → the one and only and true God; Lucifer— would not.
👇
PRIDE— IS A FALSE IDENTITY worn— either puffed and inflated in its falsehood → or deflated, depressed and torn down in its falsehood: but either way, it’s FALSE IDENTITY.

I want to point some scriptures out now,
for the sake of analyzing what God is pointing out—
when pride is mentioned in context, within the Word.

Leviticus 26:18-21
“And if you will not yet— for all this —hearken unto [intelligently hear, pay attention, obey, carefully and certainly consider, discern, and regard] me, then I will punish [chastise with blows or words, instruct, correct, reform, sorely reprove] you seven times [in fullness] more for your sins [habitual offenses, and purifying].
19 And I will break [burst, break to pieces, crush, destroy, hurt and tear] the pride [arrogant excellency, majesty, pomp and swelling] of your power [strength, security, majestic praise, boldness]; and I will make your heaven [loftiness] as iron, and your earth as brass (both of those are weighty, heavy):
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain [emptiness, worthlessness, and of no purpose]: for your land shall not yield [bring forth] her increase [produce or crop, wealth], neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits [reward].
21 And if you walk contrary [hostile in encounter] unto me, and will not hearken unto [intelligently hear, pay attention, obey, carefully and certainly consider, discern, and regard] me; I will bring seven times [full completion] more plagues [blows, wounds, carnage, pestilence, slaughter, sorely striking with stripes] upon you according to your sins [habitual offenses, and purifying].”
___________________
In this chapter, God has laid it out himself— as he spoke— how he desired to bless Israel, ‘if’ they will honor him, and remain in covenant with him— obediently, submissively; he detailed it all out how he would bless them, but…
He also said, “But, if you will not hearken unto me”.....
And the results are catastrophic.
I really want to emphasize the part about pride— because it comes and shows itself when we are in disobedience to his Spirit, and offending him with disrespect → undisciplined.
He begins by saying, “for all this” —if you will not hearken unto me…
and he’s meaning— he told them all the blessings, all the things he would do to prosper and love on them…
and then he listed some things he would do to discipline or punish them, if —they would be rebellious against him, by the time he reached this point in scripture.
Which usually means— because he has to ‘keep going,’ with the discourse and warnings— there’s a good chance they will rebel, and he will need to bring all of it into play, unfortunately.
He says, “If you won’t hearken unto me, or— intelligently hear, pay attention to, obey, carefully and certainly consider me, discern, and regard me— then I will punish, chastise with blows or words, instruct, correct, reform, sorely reprove you —seven times [in fullness] even more for your habitual sins and offenses against me, for purifying you.”
When we walk contrary to him— we are his enemy— his opposition, offenders of his person, nature, character, kingdom, etc.
When we say, “No, we will not comply, we will not acquiesce, we will do as we please, and without your regard;” we have become his enemy, competition, opposition, and with contention and in contempt of his person: we are offenders.
He then states— “I will break to pieces, crush, burst, destroy, hurt and tear the prideful, arrogant excellency and majesty, pomp and swelling of your power from you— which is your, strength, security, majestic praise, boldness of your person, you so wield; and I will make your loftiness as weighty now, as heavy upon you as iron, and your foundation, your stability and groundedness— as heavy upon you as brass (meaning, burdensome).”
When we are arrogant— we are arrogant in self excellency in our own sight; we are lofty, in our majestic pomp and stance of just what we think of ourselves— and WE ARE the majesty; but God is ‘your majesty,’ no one else.
We are praising OURSELVES in our boldness (meaning— ‘that’s pretty bold of you to say—’ audacious or lofty/arrogant).
So, he states— I will WEIGH YOU DOWN, since you soar so high, and puffy— exalting yourself— I will abase you, and drop you down, and with great heaviness; and your foundation will be rocked, and burdensome now (meaning, your life and person).
He is making a point that PRIDE is his enemy; satan wields pride— Christ wields humility.
Pride needs self to be seen and heard; humility needs the other to be seen and heard.
Pride exalts self; humility lifts/exalts others.
Pride serves self; humility serves others.
Pride is self consumed, and prefers self; humility is seeing others, and preferring them.
Pride/satan/flesh —is the opponent, opposition,
opposite of Christ.
Humility/Christ/Spirit —is the Kingdom of heaven,
and is in alignment with God.
He’s going to wreck their strength and it will be spent in vain; meaning, it will accomplish squat— emptiness, worthlessness, and of no purpose will their efforts be: their land will not yield and bring forth any profitable increase of produce or crops— nor will their wealth remain, and their trees will be barren of fruits— no reward at the end of harvest: waste.
All because they have chosen to walk contrary, which means— HOSTILELY IN ENCOUNTERS with the Lord; do we understand that means— when we are walking in pride we are KICKING AGAINST HIM, REFUSING HIM, HAVE BECOME HOSTILE TO HIS PROMPTS TO REFORM US, CORRECT US, INSTRUCT US— ‘during’ all our ‘encounters’ with God?!
And in that, we will NOT HEARKEN to his leadership, WE ARE OUR OWN LEADERSHIP, as hearken means— intelligently hear him out, pay attention to him, obey him, carefully and certainly consider him, discern what he’s saying and instructing, and regard him; and we have other ideas— namely doing what we want, and disregarding him: pride.
So, he will bring completely and fully upon them plagues— or— blows, wounds, carnage, pestilence, slaughter, sorely striking with stripes (those are whippings of correction, literal or figuratively) —because they just won’t stop bucking him, disrespecting him, obstinately doing their own thing, disobeying him and running their own show— sinning against him HABITUALLY, in offense.
And it will be for a big ole reason he will bring all this about, unto his own people— PURIFICATION.
If they are to be saved at all—
it will be through purging refining fires.

1 Samuel 17:28
“And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper [guard], and took, and went— as Jesse (his father) had commanded [appointed, charged— ordered] him; and he came to the trench, as the host [army] was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
21 For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array [arranged] —army against army.
22 And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper [guard] of the carriage [prepared apparatus, utensil, vessel or weapon— armor, artillery bag, instruments], and ran into the army— and came and saluted [entreated] his brethren.”
_________________
The first thing we note here, is that Jesse, his father— commanded him, that is gave him ‘orders’ to obey; which was to leave the sheep with a guard, and join the army of people.
Secondly, we notice he leaves the carriage of weaponry and artillery with a guard as well, comes and entreats his brethren; it isn’t said if his father told him to do this, as well— but he called him to the trench where all was taking place, and David is obedient and trustworthy— so, it’s assumed, he was ordered to do this as well, and that he did not make this decision of his own devising.

25 “And the men of Israel said— Have you seen this man, that has come up— surely to defy [expose, strip, defame, reproach, upbraid and put into jeopardy] Israel, he has come up: And it shall be that the man who kills him— the king will enrich him with great riches— and will give him his daughter, and will make his father’s house FREE in Israel.
26 And David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying— What shall be done to the man that kills this Philistine, and takes away the reproach [disgrace and shame] from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised [exposed— as an outsider of the house of Israel] Philistine— that he should defy the armies of the living [raw, fresh, strong] God?
27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying— So shall it be done [accomplished, furnished, bestowing upon, offered] to the man that kills him.
__________________
We see that the one who will stop this ‘non’ covenanted person, will be blessed immensely, and his house— by the king; and David brings up the fact that he is in non-covenant, and that God’s house ought to have stood up firmly with God, unto victory— BECAUSE OF this revelation, and because of the covenant with their God: he is faithful, to those who are faithful to him.
And the people assure him, that whosoever will accomplish this— all that was said will be bestowed upon this man.

28 “And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spoke unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David [whose name here in Strong’s means— loving] and he said— Why did you come here, and with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness?? I know your pride [presumptuous arrogance], and the naughtiness [badness morally, evil wickedness] of your heart; for you have come down (here) —that you might see the battle.”
_________________
David’s eldest brother (one who ought to walk with God in his conduct/character, and be led of God— as he’s from the lineage of Jesse), Eliab— gets very angry with David, assuming he has abandoned his responsibilities, just to do as he wants, how he wants— unaware he was ‘ordered’ by their father, Jesse— to come.
He then begins to tell David he walks in pride and naughtiness of heart— when HE IS WALKING IN PRIDE AS HE SPEAKS.
Pride has reared its ugly head in Eliab, as he foolishly speaks of David, when he is ignorant of the truth of matters; and in that he charges/judges David illegitimately: pride— exalting self, as one steps upon another.
_________________
29 “And David said— What have I done now?? Is there not a cause [an affair, business, command, concern, decree, duty, errand, matter]?
30 And he turned from him toward another, and spoke after the same manner: and the people answered him again— after the former manner [word given him]. (essentially— they agreed with David)
31 And when the words were heard which David spoke— they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.”
________________
David states to his older brother— IS THERE NOT A GOOD REASON WHY I AM HERE, and SHOULD BE HERE?! As there was a non-covenanted person, oppressing the people— and all people were cowering before him; except David wanted the opportunity, and was led by his Father in heaven— and ordered by his father in the earth (Jesse) —to come, and partake.
He looks around at everyone else, and says the same to them— resolutely— as he said to his eldest brother— and no one contested his words or point.
Then— as Saul found out, he sent for David— and we all know David WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE, per God— and he gained victory over the adversary, as he was ‘the chosen one’ to do so; and so he WAS supposed to leave those sheep and armaments behind with caretakers/guards— and he WASN’T PRIDEFUL or NAUGHTY at all: but his brother— WAS.
We can see that when one is estranged from God, inside— as this eldest brother was, clearly— as he did not hear from God that David was called, he himself was not called by God to take care of this issue, and he charged David foolishly in illegitimate judgments, FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE— because he ‘looked down upon’ David— from a lofty, and self appointed position; which actually places him in the naughty, evil and wicked position: pride.
If we are walking in unrighteousness unto God, meaning— not walking right with him, in his nature, and under his command and righteousness— then we are walking ‘contrary’ to him, and are ‘estranged;’ when one is estranged from God— not close to God, nor hearing from him— one will walk according to what is ‘right in their own eyes,’ and lead self— which is pride.
When one walks in pride— they will really ‘step in it,’ and everyone will eventually see the self exaltation— as they attempt to ‘rise up,’ by stepping on others, foolishly— and without regard, ignorantly— meaning— without understanding, and presumptuous.

2 Chronicles 32:26
“Notwithstanding, Hezekiah humbled himself [bent the knee, vanquished and humiliated himself, bringing down into subjection] for the pride of [the grandeur, arrogance, haughty excellency, high loftiness of] his heart [feelings, will and intellect— center of one’s person— their wisdom, understanding and will]— both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem— so that the wrath [strife with, and rage indignation] of the LORD— came not upon them, in the days of Hezekiah.”
________________
We often hear of how God spared Hezekiah, and not only spared his life from death— but endowed him with 15 years added onto his life; well, one thing Hezekiah did— was he HUMBLED ‘himself.’
It is NOT God’s job to humble us— it’s our job, and he states this over and over again in scripture— both old and New Testament/covenant.
Humility, is a choice— so is pride; God did not force Lucifer to walk humbly— it was a choice, and he chose pride— and refused humility, or servitude: humility is tied to being a SERVANT to another, or others— PREFERRING THEM, ‘over,’ self.
Hezekiah— chose servanthood, and bowed to the Lord, and chose to serve humbly, instead of standing erect, pridefully— preferring and exalting self.
And described here, when he chose humility, he chose to— bend the knee to God and others, vanquish pride and humiliated himself— drop self down lower, bringing himself down and into subjection to God, and others; THAT IS HUMILITY— it’s lack of self importance and need for recognition— and instead, GIVING IT TO OTHERS— leaving them standing in a position of importance and value in one’s life, as they are recognized as worthy of it.
As well it is stated that the ‘heart,’ is prideful, which means— stands in grandeur, arrogance, haughty excellency of self, and with high loftiness of self importance; and, as the heart is defined as our— feelings, will and intellect— center of one’s person— our wisdom, understanding and will or choices.
When we are dealing with our heart, its intents, thoughts and reasoning— we will encounter its loftiness to be important, recognized and seen— and it will stem from our EMOTIONS, THINKING and REASONING (intellect), what we perceive as our WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING of life, and the CHOICES we make in life.
Have we ever realized how important we make it seem to others of what we are— ‘feeling, thinking, reasoning, viewing as important of our wisdom and insights, our understanding of how we perceive things, and the choices WE MAKE—’ versus the choices others make??
Deeming their choices, reasonings, thoughts and wisdom as, oftentimes— ‘lesser, faulty or not as important as ours?’
Pride shows up to draw attention to ourselves— as we are actually believing inside, that if we don’t draw attention to ourselves— we will DISAPPEAR IN IMPORTANCE or VALUE, altogether— and become NONEXISTENT; when the truth is— God has deemed us valuable, in fact he has ESTEEMED US, which means— respects and admires our person, and considers us, as that is the definition from the beginning— with the root definition being— ‘to estimate or appraise’ ‘worth, reputation’ and ‘assess the merit of.’
It doesn’t matter if others esteem us, recognise us, make us important or respect us— it matters WHAT GOD SAYS IS THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR INTRINSIC WORTH/VALUE.
It doesn’t matter what ‘we’ think of ourselves— IT MATTERS WHAT GOD DOES.
We don’t have to FIGHT TO BE SEEN or VALUED BY GOD— we already are; he slayed himself before this world existed— because we are THAT esteemed and exalted within his heart— as in of ULTIMATE IMPORTANCE to him.
No one wants to hear someone only talk about themselves: Christ makes YOU the center of attention and topic— his kids do too.
We don’t need to walk in pride—
we need to ‘walk with the Lord.’
We don’t need to ‘self purport,’
we need to ‘self obscure’
—to let HIM SHINE OUT OF US.

Job 41:34
“He beholds all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride [strutting pride— like a lion].”
__________________
This whole chapter of Job— chapter 41— is about Leviathan; the entity who— separates, ostracizes, walks with Jezebel, pride, murder (spiritual/figurative to one’s person, or literal) self exaltation, biting power of words, witchcraft, rebellion to God as his opposite or OPPOSITION, and suffering relationships.
And it states— Leviathan
(which essentially is the biggest puff-upedness of satan)
→ is the leader over all the children of pride.
As this entity— Leviathan the dragon— is over all ‘high’ things here; point being → the Most High God is not exalted in Leviathan— satan is, as satan is most high to himself: pride.
If you have contentions in your relationships— you are running in pride, and Leviathan is over the operations— as you are unable to be
‘least important;’ and folks— he’s the ‘dragon’ → who is a mighty strong principality.
Someone— is backing all that
Pride of Flesh/Life—
*satan—
with his counsel and perceptions.
________________
Psalms 10:2
“The wicked in pride [arrogance, personal majesty, haughtiness, highness, and swelling— as he adorns himself as an ornament] —does persecute [burn, chase, inflame and pursue] the poor [depressed in mind or circumstances, afflicted, lowly and needy]: let them be taken [manipulated, seized and captured, overtaken, caught and surely stopped] —in the devices [plans, intents, wit, lewdness, mischievousness and wicked thoughts] that they have imagined [weaved, fabricated, plotted, contrived, computed, considered, worked, devised, esteemed, forecast, reckoned and purposed].”
(unto the other)
1 Corinthians 5:5-6
“To deliver such a person unto Satan— for the destruction of the flesh [human nature and morality, as the spiritual definition] —so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorifying [boasting]— is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven [fermentation— which is a corruption process] —leavens the whole lump??”
_______________
Here we can see in all these scriptures, that the point in premise is that— God is a just God; what one sows, one will reap, and ought to; as well as— what kingdom you uphold, and its leader, will be allowed to be upheld within the man.
If a man is devising evil, and walking contrary to God and his nature— he is walking with his enemy, and has become the enemy of God; this man will have put upon him— the wickedness, and sin— he wields at others, as he exalts himself above others.
And that God will ‘give these people over,’ which is let satan rule them, as they are choosing him— his counsel, his leadership and his table of options to eat from— for the destruction of the FLESH CARNAL NATURE: reformation → for SAVING THE SPIRIT/SOUL OF THAT MAN.
For the boasting and pride of that man is NOT GOOD— and he has mixture and corruption within in, and if God is desiring to ‘save’ this man— he will need to PURGE HIM— with the assistance of satan— and unto the destruction of THE FLESH CARNAL PERSON; for the corruption, fermentation rotting process within— has consumed the whole person— as the leaven, leavens the whole lump.

________________
It is NOT EASY— your life— when you are walking in/with pride— and for good reason; you are not supposed to be ‘comfortable’ in pride.
God is attempting to move you, like using a cattle prod— to remove you from an all consuming blackhole of stagnant waters, and into— forward motion with HIM LEADING YOU, as he reforms you, corrects, admonished, prunes and refines you: SAVE YOU.
It is always uncomfortable and painful— to be ‘estranged’ from God; and we are living ‘estranged’ from God, in one fashion or another— when we are exalting self, as we walk in THE PRIDE OF LIFE.
We are called to reverence him, if he is MOST HIGHLY REGARDED and EXALTED ONE, inside of us; and that is— what you do to the ‘least’ of these (or as you deem the least deserving), you do unto me.
Reverence him— see HIS face —upon the one you want to abase, demean, disesteem and exalt yourself— as right, proper, and correct over— as you step up higher, while you stand on them, pushing them down.
It’s really difficult to do that—
if the person you are looking at,
you have placed the face,
and VALUE of God upon.
We are to treat our brethren—
as we would God himself.
AWARENESS OF GOD
at ALL times—
in ALL faces.
And when you DO find yourself looking at, and facing him—
What are you focusing on??
Are you speaking and minded upon → things coming to you, what’s happening in your life, how you are feeling, what you want, need, can’t stand, love, deserve, etcetera and so on, or…
His agenda, his love, his perceptions, his dreams, his value, his character, nature, gifts, attributes, plans, kingdom ways and his person— or everything and everyone down here:
self centered talk with him, or making it about him??
You will enjoy your days better
→ when your focus is NOT on
‘Self.’
The acceptable self topic conversations with God holy— what do I need to change, get sanctified, and come into alignment with you on— those are the acceptable self topics to discuss with him; he knows everything already— what we have need of, and what he’s bringing in: he is waiting for us to use our time and focus efficiently.
All things are lawful now— but not all things are profitable for us.
Anything other than God and others as most important— is ‘amiss,’ and a waste of time; not to mention it is murmuring and complaining when we are speaking negatively about people (self included) —and God wiped out Wilderness people for that: it’s lack of godly discipline, whilst walking in self exaltation of importance.
If you don’t have anything nice to say—
which comes from thinking—
you need to change that thinking.
HE NEEDS TO WITNESS HIMSELF, through his children; he’s expecting we will become hospitable to him, and erect him as the valued leadership, with whom we have come into alignment with— so he can witness himself, as we lower self— to exalt him, within:
“They need him, not me; I just need to agree with him, and get out of his, and my— way.”
A HUMBLE SERVANT says—
“I will eat later,
YOU— eat first.”
PRIDEFUL FLESH screams—
to be fed all the time;
and it’s our job to SLAY IT.
A ‘humble servant’ WALKS WITH GOD; the ‘flesh’ WALKS WITH SATAN— and screams to be fed comforts and esteemed all the time: we are called to KILL IT/SLAY IT— for a reason; it exalts satan, and is the enemy of God.
Romans 8:7-8
“Because the carnal mind is enmity [enemy] against God— as it is not subject to the law of God (conduct, or conducting/orders of God), neither indeed can be (because it’s of satan— his opponent, and the other option we can choose at any time). So then they who are (walking) in the flesh → cannot please God.”
*We’re already noticed by God, valued by God, regarded and esteemed by God— we really don’t need to make ourselves seen— as it has already been defined and revealed that we are ALREADY SEEN
OF GOD; and he’s the only one that matters: let him esteem or glorify us, and let us not need to raise ourselves up, as we step on, and lower— others and God.
The 2 sides of the coin of pride, with the overseer of it → Leviathan/satan.
