SELF DENIAL– REFUSE to GIVE or GRANT (something desired) to ‘SELF,’ to REFRAIN from SATISFYING *ONESELF, REFUSE ACCESS to ‘SELF.’

Self-Denial is required, and yet our modern churches and our modern doctrine has twisted his word, into purporting that God is here to serve us, to bring us all we want and desire, NOW and HERE…making our lives cush, while “”HIS EXAMPLE”” and WHAT HE COMMANDED OF US, is the opposite.
I am not speaking of poverty.
But, also, “”what is poverty,”” these days, to the average person??
Most believe that poverty = not living with monetary wealth and provisions (luxuries).
The Lord’s idea of PROVISION/Wealth, is not what the WORLD’S idea of PROSPERITY and PROVISION is.
The World’s idea of wealth, is not God’s idea of Wealth.
The Kingdom of God’s WEALTH, is “”Christ.””

These verses tell you that to “”be RICH”” in God’s Kingdom, minded here, in dirt land…

Here he states that ALL YOUR NEEDS, are ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES…
What are his RICHES that he states??

The Father’s RICHES ARE “”IN”” CHRIST JESUS, and HIS GLORY!
And that does include shiny, pretty things, but…..
MORESO, IN CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF!
WHAT HE DID, WHO HE IS, and WHAT HE IS STILL YET!

we should want him…

because that’s materialistic, which is opposite of loving someone’s insides, their heart, THEM.
And yet, the modern “”church person”” –is going after God’s stuff, his goods, or what he can do to bless them, INSTEAD OF, for to RECEIVE– Christ himself and RECONCILIATION to THE FATHER.
Christ came here and he exemplified ‘The Father;’ he did not come to make a name for himself, but he did, by– SURRENDER.
He only made a name (reputation) of his own, BY GIVING UP HIS OWN “”WILL”” to do Father’s will ON and IN EARTH (dirt-body); he *ONLY DID WHAT FATHER DID, and SAID.
Because HE LISTENED and HE OBEYED his *AUTHORITY FIGURE OVER HIM, HIS GOD, his LORD.
So, Jesus exemplified that “”his WAY,”” Father’s “”WAY,”” is to *OBEY and *DENY ONE’S OWN WANTS and
*SELF GRATIFICATIONS.
And yet, we have a generation right now that wants:
His AUTHORITY, His POWER, His GIFTINGS, His ANOINTING, His MANTELS, His BLESSINGS, His PROVISIONING, His Kingdom “”goods”” (trips, visions, experiences, angels, riches…), His FAVOR, His ADVANCEMENTS, His DOTING ON…
And all the while…THEY ARE NOT SEEKING “”him,”” relationally, AS THE MOST IMPORTANT and RICH aspect to GAIN of God (which brings *ALL OTHER PROVISIONS with it).

2 “...he has no form nor comeliness (nothing to look at and admire outwardly); and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire (about) him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
We hid our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (they were embraced of Jesus)
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

6 All we “”like sheep,”” have gone astray (from him and his conduct of character); we have turned every one to his *own way; and (yet) the Lord laid on him “”the iniquity of us all.””
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted
(we are too, and we have zero excuse or complaint valid, for Christ endured it, we are too as well)
Yet, (even enduring it all, the oppression and afflictions)
he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb (silent)…
So, he opened not his mouth.
(He had to “go with it,” all the way to calvary, and not speak against his mission or negate it, by complaining, lessening his anointing or compromising his mission of salvation, by his sinless blood sacrifice, for all.)
8 He was taken from prison and judged: who shall declare his generation?
He was cut off out of the land of the living (sacrificed):
for the transgression of my (Isaiah) people, he was stricken (beaten).
9 He made his grave with the wicked and with the rich, in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. (no lies)
10 Yet it pleased the Lord (Jehovah) to bruise him; he put him to grief (do we think we will not be?):
When you (Father) “”make his soul an offering for sin,””
he shall see his seed (Christ AND us, ‘“in Christ””), he shall prolong “”his”” (child’s) days, and the pleasure of the Lord (Father) shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
(this is the knowledge we PERISH FROM LACKING, is ‘“his”” knowledge, not the world’s plethora of “”fallen”” knowledge, based upon satan and his “”way.””)
shall my righteous servant (Christ Jesus) justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore, I will divide him a portion with The Great (One), and he shall divide the spoil with the strong
(the Strong being– those “”in”” Christ);
because he has poured out his soul– to death:
He was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”
Intercession– Bridged the Father, RECONCILIATION, for
“”a way”” to save them.
Jesus MADE THE WAY.
He told us, “the Way.”
He told us we must COME OUT OF THE WORLD, in order to “”enter”” him.
We cannot serve 2, which is to say…
We cannot OBEY 2 MASTERS; we cannot LIVE UNDER SATAN’S WAY, “”and”” GOD’S WAY, for they are *OPPOSITES, and of OPPOSING KINGDOMS.
Literally, satan’s way AND God’s way, cannot be performed FROM THE SAME WELL, OR TREE…

That means you are “”in him,”” until you are found to be INIQUITOUS, and UNWILLING TO CHANGE.
You cannot “”shake hands with God”” (pray a prayer once) AND BELIEVE YOU WILL LIVE WITH HIM, after this life-TIME allotted…
and LITERALLY serve satan, with your CONDUCT of YOUR PERSON, here IN EARTH (yours, your dirt-body).
For YOUR PERSON “”is”” YOUR CONDUCT; it is “”the display”” of your INNER PERSON, REDEEMED or NOT.
YOU MUST BE “”born anew/again.””

Denying yourself includes overcoming the persistent fleshly demands of the body, also known as the carnal self or the natural man, and bringing them into submission to God’s Word so that you don’t give into sin:
“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:24)
Self-denial for the Christian means renouncing oneself as the center of existence (which goes against the natural inclination of the human will), and recognizing Jesus Christ as one’s new and true center.
It means acknowledging that the old self is dead and the new life is now hidden with Christ in God.

From the moment of our new birth into Jesus Christ, self-denial becomes a daily exercise for the rest of this life on earth.

With the Holy Spirit now indwelling us, we are thrust into a conflict between the divine Spirit of God and the carnal self.
Paul describes this ongoing struggle in Romans 7:14–25.
Only by God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit can we learn to deny self:
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—
the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” (Titus 2:11–13)
AND HE IS COMING!
Fasting is one of the disciplines of self-denial that Jesus practiced Himself (Matthew 4:1–2).
Giving to the poor and needy is a form of self-denial that Jesus encouraged (Matthew 5:42; Luke 11:41).
Watching in prayer is another way to deny yourself in service to God, as Jesus demonstrated (Matthew 14:23; 26:41).
Likewise, living modestly rather than indulging in excessively, is an area in which believers can exercise self-denial.
(Matthew 8:20; 10:10; 1 Timothy 2:9)
Perhaps the most significant way we practice self-denial–
is in how we love and esteem our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Self-denial is the basis for Christian fellowship and service:
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” (Philippians 2:4–8, ESV; see also Matthew 5:38–48; Mark 10:42–45)
Denying yourself means seeking the good of others before looking out for yourself (1 Corinthians 10:24).
When Ruth followed Naomi, she practiced self-denial for the benefit of her mother-in-law (Ruth 2:11).
When Esther put her life at risk to save her people, she demonstrated self-denial (Esther 4:16).
Scripture teaches us to deny ourselves for the sake of those who are weak in the faith.
(Romans 14:21; 15:1–3; 1 Corinthians 8:13; 9:23)
When you are willing to sacrifice your time, energy, rights, position, reputation, privileges, comforts, and even your very life for the sake of Christ…
you exemplify what it means to deny yourself:
“Whoever finds their life (seeks to save one), will lose it, and whoever loses their life, for my sake, will find it.”
(Matthew 10:39; see also John 12:24–26; 2 Corinthians 6:4–5)
We are to DENY the right to “”be your own god,”” and OBEY THE LORD GOD, if we do not, WE LOSE OUR LIVES.
I cannot express to you (beyond the hours, upon hours, invested in prayer/communion and digging into him ((his word))
HOW INCREDIBLY SERIOUS HE IS ABOUT THIS.
“”His”” Children, are the ONLY folk that COME HOME TO HIM after here, for they CAME HOME TO HIM whilst here.
Please, REPENT and come to God in truth, BECAUSE YOU “”WANT”” –HIM.
No other “”reason,”” no ways pertaining to SELF will get you to HIM, or heaven, for that is “”his”” home, and he ONLY BRINGS HOME TO HIS HOME, those that are “”his.””
Heaven, “”his home”” –is to himself.
He’s ENORMOUS and so is “”his place,”” where he goes to PREPARE a HOME for you!!
Unless people come to him here, now, in their dirt-realm-body-allotted TIME GIVEN…
THEY WILL NOT COME HOME TO HIM, because “”his home”” is *WITHIN.

“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Don’t look for him OUTSIDE, he’s saying; LOOK WITHIN YOU, FOR “”there”” IS HIS SPIRIT “”and”” HIS KINGDOM, found!
If you do not GAIN HIS RULE, KINGDOM and SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, NOW…
You don’t go to ‘“his place,”” (after heaven–which is inside him) THE PHYSICAL NEW EARTH, NEW JERUSALEM…
with your REDEEMED/ANEW PHYSICAL DIRT BODY, GLORIFIED…
If you do not truthfully WANT HIM NOW, whilst in “”this’” dirt-body and ALLOTTED TIME PERIOD, to choose:
God or satan, and his way and destination??
You need NO PHYSICAL BODY WHEN YOU RETURN TO GOD, in heaven: ONLY YOUR SPIRIT MAN BODY.
You only need a dirt body, in a dirt earth realm, for WE ARE SPIRIT!
Outside earth realm, you need no dirt body, but he wanted you to be YOUR OWN PERSON, SEPARATE BODILY of him, so “”he”” and “”you’” can LOOK AT EACH OTHER, HOLD HANDS, SPEAK WITH, and LEARN from, and LIVE LIFE WITH.
He gave us an “”individual body”” to differ from one another yes, but also, so we could experience what it’s like to “”be like”” God, NOT “”BE OUR OWN GODS.””
We are in a place of corruption and fallenness here, WE CANNOT GOVERN OURSELVES PROPERLY IN A FALLEN PLACE, in a FALLEN PERSONALITY; WE NEED GOD TO “”REFORM US.””
REAL CONVERSION, REAL OBEDIENCE, REALLY KNOWING, GOING TO, SEEKING, and LIVING WITH and “”in”” God, HERE….
It’s the ONLY WAY!
