Ezekiel 1:2 & 3
“...the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity…”
[History of the captivity: Jeconiah, also known as Coniah and as Jehoiachin, was the nineteenth and penultimate king of Judah who was dethroned by the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar II in the 6th century BCE and was taken into captivity. He was the son and successor of King Jehoiakim, and the grandson of King Josiah.
His grandchild is Zerubbabel.]
“...the word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest…”
_________________________
Two things of note here, right from the beginning: one— the king of Judah has been captured by Babylon (bondage of the people is taking place), and it is the priest that the Spirit of God comes to.
Ezekiel has the Spirit of the Lord upon him, the heavens are opened to him to see and hear the Spirit of the Lord, and all he reveals; as he does— we see the Lord shows him his creatures who carry the workings of God within their wheels and eyes.
What is of great significance to me (in addition to their description and faces of God himself that is built into them) —they carry with them, in firmament over them (an arch above them) —the presence, voice and glory of the Lord. I recall that the nameless one once held this position in close proximity and employment to/with the Lord as well; and he was fixed in position over the seat of Mercy (which would be where man and God intertwine in the spirit).
Imagine the information and experiences that the cherubim encounter of God and his creation and creatures of— at any given time as they carry his presence, and orders with them as they go.

Ezekiel 1:26-28
“And above the firmament [expanse of a visible arch of sky] that was over their heads —was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne —was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness roundabout.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness roundabout. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.”

I am reminded here as we read that over their heads— this is, in addition to the geographical or physical location of the placement of the firmament— it is a reference to the headship over them being that of God holy himself (over their heads); especially since over their heads was the throne of God revealed— as he presides over them in headship and fixed position.
I also note that he does not say— ‘a man’ sat there; he said— ‘and a LIKENESS of a man sat upon it.’
This is important and another reason to understand— we are made in the ‘likeness’ of God, in his image— but we are not God; and God incarnate (YahShua) came ‘in the likeness of’ sinful flesh, but was not sinful flesh himself. We must understand that God is not a man as such that we are— he is God, who has a form of a man as a likeness of— but we are man, he is God in which we take our form from: and we must retake his shape in reformation of his inner person— to match the ‘likeness’ that we have of his outer image (his man like shape).
Our Lord is an all consuming fire of holiness, amber colored— and he has a rainbow about him; and this rainbow is the ‘likeness,’ or the representation of the glory of the LORD (the self-existent eternal One).
This is where we come from; this is our Creator and the Father of us; and this is to whom we will return to: first, now— in our inner man, in reverence and honor of him and unto him; and secondly— to be with him forevermore, after this time realm is completed and done away with.
We ought to see and know who our God is, in his truth.
I was asked to read Ezekiel today— and I’ve not read the book of Ezekiel for quite some time. I was asked to read and pull forth highlighted material from it to relay— as the Spirit leads; and to especially highlight what God speaks to the priest about this ‘current people.’

Ezekiel 2:1-2
“And he said unto me— Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak unto you. And —the spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me— and set me upon my feet, so that I heard him who spoke to me.”
__________________________
Many want to think that the chosen of the old covenant, where not as fortunate as us, in the new covenant relationship with God— because we have the holy Spirit to indwell us and partner with; and for a long time I have been saying that— The Lamb laid down his life for his people, since long before there was a material creation ever laid in its foundations; and that— if the Lord and his child were to study the holy Word in scrolls or in first hand revelation from the Lord— any child of God could yoke to his Spirit at any point in time— knowing that the Lamb already laid his life down to come and join to his people.
And here in Ezekiel— we see the Spirit of the Lord enter into Ezekiel, proving this very point; there were holy men (priestly) of old, who walked and talked with the Lord God— to which, and to whom— he entered into, to walk partnered with them, and to speak with them.
This is the point of the Holy Spirit in covenant relationship with us now, since the full mission completion of the life of the Lamb, came and fulfilled that mission: union and yoking, free to all who will.
What a beautiful Spirit of God, who enters his people who covenant with him in intimacy relationship— to speak with them directly.

Ezekiel 2:3-8
“And he said unto me— Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel— to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me— even unto this very day.
For they are impudent [severe, cruel, grievous, hard hearted, obstinate, stubborn and troubling] children— and stiff-hearted. I send you unto them; and you shall say unto them— Thus says the Lord God.
And they— whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear— (for they are a rebellious house,) yet they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.
And you, son of man— be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words— though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words— nor be dismayed at their looks— though they be a rebellious house.
And you shall speak my words unto them— whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
But thou, son of man— hear what I say unto you; Be not yourself rebellious, like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you.”
________________________
Recall, in Ezekiel chapter 1, and verse 3, it said…
“...the word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest…”
I repeat this for one cause— We are all priests of the Lord now; we are a peculiar priesthood in Christ Jesus, who is our high Priest that presides over all in headship.
He called a prophetic priest to this calling; he is calling us all the same to have this relationship with him— face to face, heart to heart— joined and yoked together in harmony of one accord: of one Spirit.
He sends a priest— to the rebellious house of God as a spokesman. And they are an impudent household: severe, cruel, grievous, hard hearted, obstinate, stubborn and troubling children to our Father.
“And they— whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear— (for they are a rebellious house) —yet they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.”
This is important for a couple of reasons— one, God is calling priests of the Lord to step up and speak to a rebellious house and people of God, and in doing so (whether they will listen to his prophetic priests or not) —they will know, one way or another— that a prophetic voice and priestly representation has been sent among them.
He said to me this morning as I began to read Ezekiel with him…
“I understand your charge; I understand your heart.”
Because I began to weep very deeply when I began to read Ezekiel’s responsibility to go and speak to the rebellious house of God, as to whether they would hear him out, and heed the words and instructions, and the heart of our Father or not— remained to be seen.
As with all things of God, I sat in wonder for a few moments contemplating his choice of words used; what did he mean— He understands my ‘charge?’ So I looked up the definition of ‘charge,’ because in the definition— I would understand more about what he means— he understands my heart (at least I assumed I would); so I set out to look into it.
Charge— record the cost of something, accuse (someone) of something, especially an offense under law—make a formal accusation or assertion, entrust (someone) with a task as a duty or responsibility, fill or pervade (something) with a quality or emotion, move quickly and with impetus, place a heraldic (coat of arms) bearing on, the responsibility of taking care or control of someone or something, an official instruction— especially one given by a judge; root definition— Middle English in the general senses ‘to load’ and ‘a load’, from Old French charger (verb), charge (noun), from late Latin carricare, carcare ‘to load’, from Latin carrus ‘wheeled vehicle’.
Now, several things stick out to me as I read through that definition: 1— he is stating then that he understands the responsibility he has entrusted me to and given to me to carry out in his household; and it is that of bringing forth charges against— or formal accusation unto his household for duty and responsibility of the Lord (orders given by a judge) —as he leads me, with a load given, and workings of that load (like the cherubim operate) with wheels within wheels, and vehicles (or vessels) of; and there is a cost to that, as there is to Ezekiel, as he details out.
2— bearing— a person's way of standing or moving (as defined by the dictionary) the way one behaves or conducts oneself, a structural part that supports weight— such as a wall that supports a beam, or a pillar to a porch; the point at which a structural part —rests upon a supporting structure (like the Cornerstone), such as the specific area of a beam (or pillar) that rests upon a wall (or foundation).
What I find interesting, is that— it is wheels within wheels (like Cherubim, godly works), and the Lord has called his prophetic priests to this duty or charge; they are supports in the house of the Lord, just as Ephesians 2:20 states: “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.”
And it is because of the way they stand, move, behave and conduct themselves in/with the Lord God— that causes them to become the charge of the Lord, or the vessels of honor that he chooses to express himself to, and through— to bring word, instruction, warning and judgment to his people— for the purpose of godly representation of Father’s will and findings— regarding his people: for he desires that none should perish, but that all would face him in humility (repentance, turning from the their wicked ways, and coming into his holy ways, as they yoke with his Spirit) —and be saved.
And in understanding this ‘charge’ that he walks out (just like the Son, YahShua did and still does through and with God’s chosen vessels) —we understand that he, himself— understands the heart of the prophetic priest, that goes along with the gravity of the revelation he gives— concerning the ‘current state of the people.’
By far and large— it was a grievousness that would come with the gravitas of the messages of revelation that the Lord would speak to his prophets and priests, because the people have been on the broad-path, not the narrow conduct path led of the Lord God holy— for all of time: it’s always been a remnant that will seek him and be recovered.
There is great depth of comradery between the prophetic priest and the Lord; because he is the Spirit of prophecy himself, and he is a prophet of the Father, himself, as well; and he had to do the exact same job when he was walking this earth in his own flesh: he understands the charge, and the heart of the prophetic priest.

Ezekiel 2:9-10
“And when I looked, behold— a hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll (scroll) of a book was therein; and he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein— lamentations [dirge— mourning for the dead], and mourning [deep sorrow and muttering for the dead], and woe [lamenting, sorrow and great distress, troubled and with warning].”
_______________________
This is often the charge of the prophet, priest, and apostle— the foundational building of the Lord. They will often carry the ‘load’ or responsibility of the Lord, that comes with a heavy burdensome weight— of lamentation, mourning and woe, or— deeply muttering of great sorrow, distress, and troubled with warning— toward the ‘dead.’
Dead, in Strong’s is for either literal or of a figurative sense (which would be spiritual); so— we can see that the burden of the prophetic priest of the Lord, would be to carry this gravity of muttering over the great sorrow that comes within the soul of a man of God who can see the ‘living dead’ among them— as it troubles them, while they bring warning of this: the rebellious against the Lord.
Muttering— say something in a low or barely audible voice, especially in dissatisfaction or irritation— a barely audible utterance.
There is such grief and irritation to the Spirit of the Lord, and thus— unto the spirit of the man of God— that only a muttering in the soul of that man can be distinguished; that— is what I experienced this morning, beginning this study and reading with the Lord: and he said— “I understand your charge, and your heart.”
I take solace in that he too walked this out in his own flesh, and in the flesh of his other children like Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 3:1-3, 7-21, 24 & 27
“Moreover he said unto me— Son of man, eat what you find; eat this roll— and go speak to the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
And he said unto me— Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then I did eat it; and it was in my mouth— as honey for sweetness.”
__________
The Word of the Lord (no matter what it is) will always be sweetness to hear, or eat up— because we are hearing from our Father, and High King and Priest— that is always delightful and sweet; but not always will the word, when taken into our deepest parts— be pleasant in the full revelation of it; especially— when we must bring a heavy word from the the Lord, pertaining to a bitter and rebellious people toward him: of course that would become bitter in our bellies (or inner man and bowels); which we will see when he departs in the heat and bitterness [discontentment— chafed] of spirit.
__________
7-9
“The house of Israel will not hearken unto you; for they will not hearken unto me: for all of the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
Behold— I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead— strong against their foreheads. [determined, unwavering]
As an adamant, harder than flint— have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks— even though they ‘be’ a rebellious house.
_________
That’s the sad truth, isn’t it— they choose to ‘be,’ a rebellious people against the Lord; what we choose to ‘be,’ or behave as/like— we will reap the consequences of; whom we choose to uphold, or not— we will have as a head over us: if it be satan— calamity and woe will come to us as the enemies of the Lord (the opposition to the Lord); and if it be God holy— we will be as he is, and with him in his glory.
Everything has an order with God— and just a couple days ago he had me type, in quoting him— ‘to be, or not to be;’ and it was in reference to what we really choose to walk out in this realm: holiness, truthfully, and union with his Spirit— or not.
And even though the prophetic priestly child of his— will carry a load, and at times, oftentimes— as Christ himself carried— and it will be a bitter load to carry, for the Lord has been treated bitterly, and through rebellion— his heart will still be that none should perish, but repent, turn to him again, and be saved; and his child prophetic voice of warning— will have to bring this bitter and chaffing message— to the household of God— whether they will hear or not.
_________
10-13
“Moreover he said unto me— Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you— receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
And go, get yourself to them, they of the captivity— to the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them— Thus says the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying— Blessed be the glory of the Lord, from his place.
I also heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.”
________
He heard the representative voice of God saying— Blessed is the glory of the Lord, FROM THIS PLACE; now why do I highlight that?
Because the ‘place,’ is the place where a man of God is exalting God, doing his will in the earth, no matter the cost or load upon that man— sent directly to him by the Lord— to be carried out unto a rebellious people: he had a representative, a man of God, one in union with his Spirit, his cause and his people— no matter whether they will receive him or not (both he, and his God).
THAT— is why the glory of the Lord rests in ‘this place,’ because there is a vessel of honor in this place— the temple of the Lord, where his Spirit rests and abides: and this was pre-messiah, pre the Lamb’s mission fulfilled in ‘time and space,’ but was well taken advantage of— since he was slain before the foundations, and yoked with all who would walk the ancient paths with him— available to all— since he slayed himself from before there was a physical world at all.
THAT— is beautiful, and available to us all— certainly AFTER Christ has come and fulfilled his mission in time and space.
And the ‘works’ of the Lord (the cherubim and their working wheels) were a part of this; I am reminded that there are far more for us— than against us; and if satan (the nameless one) was once a cherub for the Lord— how many are still for us, and working with us— and representing the Lord to us, and serve the heirs of Christ?
________
14
“So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away— and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.”
________
Yes; and this is what I was reminding myself of as well. Even if the majority of his people do not receive, in this adulterous generation; and even if I have the bitterness and chafing in my innermost parts— for the charge of the Lord, the load upon me to bring forth to his people…
The hand of the Lord is upon me; and in that— I have all that matters, and I serve the Lord.
This is the same for all priests and prophetic voices of the Lord (and watchmen); the hand of the Lord upon our lives is truly what matters: he is our all in all.
________
17-21
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word of my mouth, and give them warning from me.
When I say unto the wicked— You shall surely die; and you do not give him warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way— to save his life… The same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; BUT— his blood will I require at your hand.
Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turns not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way— he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your own soul.
Again— When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him— he shall die: because you have not given him warning— he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done— shall not be remembered; BUT— his blood will I require at your hand.
Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man— that the righteous, sins not— and he does not sin— he shall surely live— because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.”
________
THIS— is the heavy load, or charge of the prophetic priest of the Lord, the watchmen of the Lord; we are called to ‘watch’ the souls of men, and to WARN; if we will warn them— we are free from the repercussion of one’s blood on our hands; if we do not warn (and are timid, afraid, and deny speaking the words and warnings of the Lord) —we will have the ignorant, rebellious, and in peril of death and estrangement from God— those person’s blood— added to our records and witness: and there is judgment unto all.
________
24
“Then the spirit entered into me (indwelling, before Christ’s time), and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said unto me— Go, shut yourself within your house.
27
When I speak with you— I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them— Thus says the Lord God; He that hears— let him hear; and he that forbears— let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.”
________
And again— this is the truth of it. God will call aside, into seclusion and isolation (within, if not without) the man of God, the chosen vessel of honor— to speak and commune, to share his heart, his mind and his will and agenda with; but at some point, after this lock-down period with the Lord— where he is shut in with him in his temple; he will send him forth with the ‘charge’ of the Lord.
And when he sends him forth, as he did with YahShua (Jesus), he will do with his manifesting sons, priests, prophets, and watchmen (who are one with his spirit): HE, himself— will open their mouths (for they are one with his Spirit), and they will speak what the Lord speaks— they will speaks his words, the words of the Spirit of God: and those who will hear what the Spirit is saying, and heed— will be saved; those who will not, who will forbear in their rebellion— will be lost: such is the ways of the Lord.
________
Ezekiel 4:4-6
“Lie yourself upon your left side [adversary— H6654], and I lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it— you shall bear their iniquity.
For I have laid upon you— the years of their iniquity— according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
And when you have accomplished them— lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah— forty days: I have appointed you each day for a year.”
________
The Lord, and of a vessel of honor in whom he indwelled (entered into) —laid the iniquity of his household— upon this man of God, to bear; and ‘side,’ here in Strong’s means— ADVERSARY; we are called to ‘lay against our adversary,’ and here— that is the carnal, rebellious, insolent nature.
Do we think his ways have changed?
Do we think he does not ask such things of his watchmen, priests and prophets to this day?
This was a holy man, set apart unto God, and given a ‘charge’ of the Lord— to address an unruly and rebellious household of his people; in that— he laid THEIR INIQUITY, UPON HIM: does this NOT sound like what our Savior did and does??
Does this not sound like what he would continue to do through his surrendered vessels— those vessels who live in him, and of whom he lives out of?
Would he not carry the iniquity of the household— in his leadership, in their hearts, their inner man— upon their minds and souls— unto his purposes, even now?
And would it not be grievous unto their innermost parts (heart and bowels) and cause them chafing and discontent— as it did our Lord himself in his own lifetime?
Our Lord is one Lord, One Spirit, One God— unto One mission being carried out, the same way, over and over again throughout time: save man from himself, from transgression against the Lord, from being his enemy— instead of his yoke brother.
And God is the same yesterday, today and forever— and he will continue to walk out his will, his ways, his charge and load, his mission— the same in all his yoke brothers (those at one with his Spirit, and of whom serve him).
He will lay a ‘load’ upon his leadership— and the blood of souls will be upon them, as to whether or not they speak the words and warnings, and instructions of the Lord— or not; and as well— he will lay the load of iniquity on the RIGHTEOUS MAN OF GOD (like he did the only begotten Son— all of the sin debt of us, upon him) —to be carried (priestly duty of sacrifice, in mercy and love), and to carry— the household of God, to see another day; and to have the opportunity to repent.
What would you do—
to save God’s people with God?
YahShua (Jesus) was called to this— as he is the messiah, or Christ; he is the deliverer of his people; and we are in him, and he in us.
What would you walk out— to save the house of God, in this earth realm of time and space to choose whom we will truly serve, both now and for eternity?
Because— the son of God, the child of God, the servant of the Lord— has always been asked to walk this walk, and to carry the sins of the people: this is the job of the priest; and Ezekiel exemplified this well— as did our Lord YahShua in his own lifetime.
What is his leadership walking out right now?
I see much that needs resolve in the house of God; but first— he must regain a leadership like Ezekiel and YahShua: a people who are the authentic, genuine article; a people who are led of the Spirit, and who have become obedient in all areas, walking as he walks.
THEN— will the people have an opportunity to hear and heed the words and warning of the Lord; and choose to repent, and return to God— and be saved.
But if we have a leadership of prophetic voices, priests and watchmen— who are unwilling to carry the ‘charge’ of the Lord in the earth, genuinely, sacrificially, and obediently— the blood of souls will be upon the leadership, and the sheep will be led to slaughter— dying in their sin.
I see this; I am grieved by this; but I am confident, the shaking is coming because of this as well.
Only the Lord can set his household straight— but he is, and always has— partnered with man to do so: he has always had a voice ‘in the earth,’ and that is within man— unto man; and he always will— where his voice is heeded, his Spirit is honored, and his child is obedient unto him in servitude.
These are the voices the Lord will exalt in due season— and unto a rebellious and haughty household: and IF— they will hear and heed the words and warning of the Lord— they will be saved; if not— they will perish in their sins— but the hands of the watchmen— will be clean.
The load and charge he is laying on his prophetic, priestly watchmen is this: to warn and speak the words of the Lord— to an adulterous generation, that we have need of reformation inside each man— unto humility and bowing down to the holy One, and coming back under him.
“Prepare for a regeneration, of an apostolic reformation,
to this adulterous generation.”
These were his words to me in 2020— and they remain.
_______
Ezekiel 4:7-13
“Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem— and your arm shall be uncovered— and you shall prophesy against it.”
_______
A set face toward ‘siege,’ is not a good thing. It is essentially God’s countenance against his household, and unto their hemming in (as this is the Strong’s definition of siege), their distress and stronghold: there is a stronghold set against his people— and he’s asked Ezekiel to UNCOVER HIS ARM toward them; this is a reference to dominion against them: as arm in Strong’s here, is— might, power, shoulder and strength.
God is moving against his unruly household: for they walk not in obedience to him nor his ways— and move in unrighteousness: we have this now, once again— in mass.
You shall prophesy against, means— speak by inspiration and discourse (by the Spirit of God), predicting toward them —in opposition to them.
God has set himself against them— and the man of God is set to carry this load of iniquity— upon himself: this is a shadow of the Son of man coming, in the Lamb— to carry the sins of the people upon him: to bear their iniquity.
_______
8
“And, behold, I will lay bands upon you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to another, until you have ended the days of your siege [distress and hemming in].”
_______
Here, the man of God who carries the load and charge of the Lord, who carries the transgressions of the iniquity of the people upon him— shall be bound in the physical— because they are bound in the spiritual: he is set about being tied down to the ground; this is a reference to them being yoked to the carnal nature, and under siege of it; in distress and hemmed in, with strongholds of the enemy kingdom.
I see so many points of interest and reference in the book of Ezekiel— to our modern day time period, and ‘current state’ and condition of the household of God.
They are bound in the carnal, and the man of God was bound in the flesh too— this is what happened to YahShua (Jesus) when he came and suffered in the flesh, being strapped upon him the iniquity of us all.
But in those bands upon him (the righteous) —he was able to carry the sins of the people to the altar of God— and in mercy and graciousness— set them free; those who will yoke to him, reunite, and reconcile to his Spirit.
Ezekiel is a type and shadow of our Lord,
as the Lamb sacrifice.
Ezekiel was called to demonstrate this to the people; and let us not forget— it was the Spirit of the Living God in him (he entered into me), who was carrying this all out— WITH THE MAN OF GOD, as he led him; and it is the same for us today. In whatever way the Lord has come upon us to carry his message to the people, his warnings to the people— to bear up under the iniquity of the household of God— we do it, because it is HIS SPIRIT that does these works through us.
It is the Father who does his works (wheels, or operations within operations) yoking to his sons— to carry this all out; those who will not be turned from the left or to the right: but those who are steadfast, single-eyed, obedient and subservient to the Lord himself.
These are those who walk as one with their God and his Spirit: these are they who the Father does his works through— the sons of God, who bring forth not their will— but the will and works of the Father, who is in them.
_______
9-11
“Take yourself also wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches— and put them in one vessel, and make yourself bread— according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon your side— three hundred and ninety days you shall eat thereof.
And your meat which you shall eat —shall be by weight— twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.
And you shall also drink water— by measure— the sixth part of a hin: from time to time you shall drink.”
________
I am reminded here of a few things: 1, that the Lord always provided, and well in advance; he is speaking to Ezekiel about all he will need, and what and how to gather all of it— so that he has what he needs to begin this charge.
2, that he was asked to ‘bear upon his side— the iniquity of the households of God.’
That is to say— in the likeness, when our Lord was pierced in his side— from him spilled ‘the life’ (the blood); and in the spilling of the blood of the Lamb— the way (an open door of intimacy) was established, and the life was provided (to step into eternal life, and the tree and planting of— being God himself), and the Spirit of Life— was shed abroad to all who will receive of him.
Like Ezekiel— the iniquity of them all was borne on his side: and like Christ— the mercy of reconciliation was established, as he bore the iniquity upon him, and with the opening of his side— we can all now enter in.
Again— another reference to carrying of the iniquity upon the sacrificial servant of the Lord— as a type and shadow of what our Lord walks out as the Lamb; and unto all who yoke to the Lamb— we too will bear up under whatever charge our Lord lays upon us— that is tied to the iniquity of the people.
Here— Ezekiel was asked to bear in his side— the iniquity: and our Lord YahShua did the same— and yet, in a better covenant— made the way home to eternal life with him, through the distress of his side, and the piercing and tearing of the veil.
All watchmen, priests and prophets— will bear under the load as well; the load of the iniquity of the people, that will be strapped to them, and bore up under: namely— to warn, to speak the words of the Lord, and to give opportunity for all to repent of their wickedness, and return humbly to serve the Lord, and face him: and in this— they will have delivered their own souls, from the blood of the souls of the wicked and rebellious; as they brought forth the word, warning, and instruction of the Lord.
________
12 & 13

And the Lord said— Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles— whither I will drive them.”

God is saying— Israel is like dung to me right now, they are altogether waste, and a ruinous wasteland within their souls unto me; and so— they will watch you bring forth food from waste; this is so they understand that what is coming out them (as Ezekiel is to demonstrate their spiritual state, by a symbolic representation of it in him— tied down to the earth in bondage, and eating a preparation of sustenance— from the waste of the insides of man) —is symbolic of the ‘current state’ of the household of God.
It’s all symbolic.
And the Lord is saying— like how you demonstrate in symbolism, with preparations, and what goes into the belly coming from the waste of man (being representative of the bellies of these people, and what is coming from them toward the Lord [waste]) —you will consume: because they are consuming filth, and it’s coming back to God from them (the rebellious people).
These people— eat defiled bread; if our Lord is the Bread of Life— and these eat defiled bread— they are not yoked in covenant, inside their inner man to God, nor are they obedient to him or his Spirit or ways— and they are defiled within: they do not live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, but instead eat defiled bread; the bread of iniquity, corruption, error and of sin and death (estrangement).
And because of this— he will scatter them among the people of other nations, who ALSO— know not the living God.
This is all symbolic, that because they are estranged from him, rebellious toward him, do not uphold his Spirit, his conduct, his ways, his paths, or his presence and words— they will go among people who also do not know him, nor regard him.

“Then I said— Ah, Lord God! Behold— my soul has not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.”
________
Ezekiel is stating to the Lord that what the Lord is asking of him, will in essence— shame that in which God has asked him to walk out, for his entire life (of which he has never violated). And that is this— NOTHING that dies of itself (diseased or such), or is torn in pieces (like by a wild and unruly animal), nor anything abominable— has ever come into his mouth.
He is wondering what would cause God to deal so harshly with him— for all this obedience, all this time— that he would require him to use his feces to cook his meals: it is humiliating, and yet he has always obeyed the Lord.
And so, as this is true, and abominable means— stink or unclean— God does him a solid; and even though God was making a point, that what is coming from them— they shall eat thereof; God has mercy on Ezekiel, and changes his mind to use cow feces instead; to at minimum— save him the humiliation of using his own feces before the people.
It was all symbolic, but our Lord is merciful and just: Ezekiel had only sown righteousness unto the Lord; and the Lord found another way: but what I love— is that the story line remained. It is written in scripture that he was originally desiring to use human feces— because the humans had become abominable in his sight.
________

“Then he said unto me— Lo, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung— and you shall prepare your bread therewith.
Moreover he said unto me— Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight— and with care; and they shall drink water by measure— and with astonishment: That they may want bread and water, and be astonished one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.”
_________
He gives him cow’s dung instead, and displays his reasonable and merciful nature; as well, he begins to state what is going to take place unto the children of the household of God— who are haughty, rebellious, and impudent toward him (severe, cruel, grievous, hard hearted, obstinate, stubborn and troubling).
He’s going to cause them to have rations of bread and water— and they will be astonished; they are used to being provided for in full; and now the Lord is drawing back his hand of provision— to this self indulgent people (adulterous generation).
And he says— They will be consumed away (whither) because of their iniquity.
That is not only a physical truth of scarcity of food, but it is the state of man— with a scarcity of God and his presence over their lives: the rebellious house of God.
_________
Captivity of the house of God (Jehoiachin) is taking place now, once again; the king of Judah’s household has gone into captivity— under Babylon.
The priest/prophet of the Lord is called forth in this hour; I had asked him where we were in time— and the book of Ezekiel was given to me to read; this is the beginning of that journey through the book of Ezekiel— and to discover that we are in a time of both detailing out ‘who the priests of the Lord are,’ but as well— what their walk entails— and where that leaves us in ‘time and space.’
The King of Judah’s leadership has been captured by Babylon; and as goes the leadership in the house of God— so goes the sheep, or pew sitting parishioners and people called by his name.
The priest (high Priest) that the Spirit came to (and we are in him now, and we are led of him now) —comes to the rest of the priests who can now prophesy by the Spirit of the Lord as well. And, as like with Ezekiel and the Son of man himself— the Spirit of the Lord is upon him (and all of us Isaiah 61:1 children of the Lord), and the heavens are opened to us, to see and hear the Spirit of the Lord.
These children will walk as one with their God— and the glory will rest upon them.
The 4 faces of God, the operations of God, the works and workings of God (like the wheels in wheels of the cherubim) are present with this type of man of God— and as one brother in Christ said that the Spirit spoke to him: we are to replace, or fill the place that the fallen one vacated:
They are those who worship the Lord, and who encompass [surround and have or hold within, include comprehensively, and cause to take place] his 4 faces of his person:
The perspective/vision/Eagle— and carry it into the earth and their earthen vessels.
Who walk as burden bearers/Oxes/lambs (wheels in wheels, works of the Lord and Lamb) in the earth and unto his will and purposes— in their priestly duties (like Ezekiel).
Who will walk out the dominion of the Lord as kings under him, in the Lion face or facet of God.
And the image of the man— the mature one in Christ, carrying the fullness of the Godhead in all his facets and conduct— in the man-faced child of God: the likeness of God complete in the 4 facets/faces of God— incorporated into one union within man: as one with his God in Spirit.
These— like cherubim— will carry the presence of the Lord, and the orders of the Lord— with them, wherever they go: they are worshipers.
Firmament, heads, and the throne— with the image of man who is seated there upon. There is— above the head (or headship) of the holy cherubim — a throne, and upon that throne sits the high and holy one himself; he is in the image of a man.
Do we understand that?
He comes, inside of man (in the images of man), and he is seated there in authority, conduct, demeanor, position and dominion as head leadership inside of man (a child of God, anyhow).
And God made created spirit beings, cherubim, seraphim and many others, including man: but man is the only one he wishes to co-dwell with, encompassing all his facets of his person, made in his full likeness of him— with a heart and mind to discern in righteousness— and to be ‘seated with him’ on his throne.
Seated with him— because they will become one with him again; and where he is seated, and has been allowed to be seated inside of them (where the throne and kingdom is) —he will then be seated in them, upon the seat of mercy reconciliations; and they— will be seated where he is, at the right hand of God, in dominion— because they upheld the mercy/love and reverence of God in their earthen vessels and lives.
Seated in heavenly places— with God; and God— seated in the high places (heavenly places) within man: a beautiful union. And the ‘bow,’ or the promise and glory of God— envelopes them: and let us note, bow— as in rainbow, is the same spelling for the word ‘bow—’ as in bow down before the high and holy One.
The nameless one would not do this— and so— man, who will— is now let into the place of worship and partnership, with God Almighty, our Father, Creator and Bridegroom Yoke Partner.
The Spirit enters into these— and he speaks with them (Ezekiel 2:2 – and 2 = set apart unto God).
“I send you to the children of Israel— to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me;” he will send us forth to a stubborn and rebellious household. And whether they will hear us or not— we are called to obey: “Be not yourself rebellious, like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you.”
Even though they will be like: “briers and thorns be with you— you will dwell among scorpions,” he will set us steadfast in him— like flint— and we will be unmoved.
And to the child of God carrying the load and charge of the Lord into the earth— he will be troubled: lamentations [dirge— mourning for the dead], and mourning [deep sorrow and muttering for the dead], and woe [lamenting, sorrow and great distress, troubled and with warning] —will accompany the prophetic, priestly watchmen of the Lord.
For it was the lot and cup given the Lord himself, in the Lamb of God; and we are found ‘in him’ now, and forever more. The child of God with his Spirit working in them, will share in his sufferings (in all facets of them).
They will bear— and become a support structure in the house building of the Lord. They will see the juxtaposition of the ‘living dead,’ and it will grieve them to their core— as they walk inside the heart of God— and he shares his heart with them: those who are estranged from him do not only vex his patience, but his heart for them to turn back to him.
This is why I say— press deeper into God, beyond his anger and indignation— and you will find heartbreak, as he reveals his heart to you; for those he wishes would not choose to perish, but would return to him, righteousness, and salvation.
“Blessed be the glory of the Lord, from his place.”
This place is a man of God, a prophetic, priestly watchmen of the Lord will walk with God himself, as one in Spirit— will be a blessed place, where the glory of the Lord will rest: this is the man-child, fully mature one in the Lord, and the Lord— in him.
These yoked in mercy and truth, and fully encompassed by— are as well walking in the type of lamb or sacrifice to humanity: they have learned the heart of the Servant, which is Christ; and they exemplify it to the world, the Lost and the house of God— all the same. The Father does his works —THROUGH THEM.
Siege, unruly people, uncovering his arm: this is what is about to take place in large, gross format— soon— upon the face of his people, and world will watch; the man of God will be required to walk this out— as God sets his face against his household for their insubordination and disrespect: and we will be called to stand as flint in the face of the stiff-necked, and hard-hearted, rebellious and impudent people.
But the Lord will sustain us with his mercies; and we will deliver our own souls— as we heed the words, warnings and instructions of the Lord— and their blood will not be on our hands.
The Lord, and of a vessel of honor in whom he indwells (entered into) —laid the iniquity of his household— upon the man of God, to bear; and when he said to lay on his side— ‘side—’ here in Strong’s means— ADVERSARY; we are called to ‘lay against our adversary,’ and here— that is the carnal, rebellious, insolent nature; and bear up under the cross of fighting that, and conquering that: this is what YahShua accomplished, and the piercing of his side— led us all into eternal life.
Are we ‘on the side of’ the Lord?
Reformation is coming to the house of God— through the rebuke of the house of God, with and by, and in conjunction with— the sons of God, who will do as the Lord bids them: for they care for the house of God, and have been given ‘charge’ to do so— indwelled and led of his Spirit.
Ezekiel 4:13
“And the Lord said— Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles— whither I will drive them.
We will watch God deal with his household of unruly, unrighteous people— for they are defiled; but it will be the love of God to do so: Hebrews 12:6 – “For whom the Lord loves— he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.”
If we will be received of him, back to him— we will be corrected, chastised, whipped (scourged) back into shape— his; or we will not return to him at all: and this is the love and mercy of God to rebuke his house.
God will always have mercy on his obedient and reverent children— just like Ezekiel with the dung situation; we too can depend upon him and his mercy and love toward us— to relieve us, in times of trouble to our souls or persons: he is, after all— the merciful deliverer of his people: the name and meaning of Joshua, of which his name YahShua— is derived from.
Long live the King of Righteousness— and his reign among his household; may we enter back into union with his Spirit, and bow before him: for rebuke is coming to his household— and it begins in his leadership.
Those willing to pay the cost, and unite with him, and love him, and serve him— will be promoted— for their steadfastness (like flint) unto the Lord himself, and his will, word, warnings and instructions to his household; and to those in his household who heed the word of the Lord in obedience and reverence— your King comes to meet you soon, and bring to you all he has for you: this is an absolute, for he is just and true.
We are here, X marks the spot. We will soon see the hand of the Lord played out, as he outstretches his arm, against his rebellious house. It will bring shaking and woe, and mourning.
But unto his little ones who serve him— restoration, revitalizing and promotion comes to the house of God: but it’s always only been— a remnant who has returned to him; and a remnant he shall have.
These pioneers will forge through uncharted territories with him, in the darkest of hours— and will, with him— pull some from the fire: and a new standard will be erected in the earth once again.
Welcome to a new era, and with it—
the manifest people of the Lord.
