I love the symbolism in the scripture… it was always based upon something that literally took place in the old testament, brought forward in the new testament— as a spiritual understanding of something we were to assimilate into our spiritual knowledge about the Lord God and his kingdom being revealed to us.

He is going to explain Leviticus 16 in spiritual terms— with Strong’s definitions in the original happening within the wilderness excursion with his people (especially Aaron’s sons, and why they died, and what we are to learn from all of this); and his very own wilderness excursion with the Holy Spirit; and how he brings triumph to us in the wilderness— and how he leads us out: what is full salvation, the full gospel, and the whole goal and agenda of our Lord God, Maker and Creator— in the heavens AND the earth.

As well— he will explain a bit about the Melchizedek priesthood— born of the atonement (at-one-ment), and their sacrificial, voluntary, laid down lives— to God and his kingdom— in the earth.

_____

In chapter 16 of Leviticus the Lord speaks with Moses— following the death of Aaron’s two sons (after offering strange fire upon the altar, symbolic of lack of sanctification and consecration— in affiliation with evil and defilement— brought to the Lord’s tabernacle and altar): offering in the Strong’s definition within scripture states firstly— it is to approach the Lord with purpose, and to bring forth, and join.  Aaron’s sons brought strange fire which meant their sanctification (cleanliness and obedience) to the Lord was ‘off,’ as well as their consecration (given only to the Lord God, obediently, properly, as detailed out and asked of them in service to the Lord and his priesthood) was ‘off.’  Their ‘approach’ was ‘off,’ as was their purpose (to bring only to the altar that in which has been sanctified (washed and holy, set apart— with purpose to fulfill) —and so they brought forth defilement, and attempted to ‘join’ to the Lord God— in their sin, blatant before the Lord (in their disobedience): their offering was defilement [H2930: to be foul in ceremonial or moral sense— contaminated, polluted— self to make and pronounce— unclean, utterly] itself: the New Testament (in Greek) has the definition of defile similarly defined— G2840, to make or consider profane, to call something common, defiled, polluted, unclean.

That in which was to be sacrificed upon the altar of the Lord— was to be purified, sanctified and consecrated; Aaron’s sons misstepped toward the Lord— and greatly so— in their disregard, lackadaisical

‘approach’ unto the Lord God— who is holy, holy, holy: and that is the point— they were not (separated, separated, separated unto the Lord God— properly); and they carried their sin (transgressions, missing the mark of what was required of them) —right into the temple/tabernacle— and then onto the altar, to present to the Lord— defilement (similar to Cain’s offering).

Matthew 15:17 & 18

“Do you not yet understand, that whatever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is then cast out into the draught (sewer)? But the things which proceed out of the mouth— come forth from the heart— and they defile the man.”

Jesus states that it is the heart that carries spiritual defilement within man; and the mouth simply presents the defilement— outwardly: it manifests (shows forth) that in which is in the hidden place (the containment center for spiritual matters and affiliations in the soul of a man); and the hidden place is exposed when a man comes forth to commune (speak and interact with another).  Aaron’s sons were to come forth, approach, present (with a purpose) a very intimate and ceremonial procedure unto the Lord God— to reverence the Lord God: there was a lack of reverence in their worship.  Meaning— Aaron’s sons, from their hearts in defilement, led of the self [as they came forth unauthorized to do so, disobedient, and improper in their protocol (meaning they usurped God’s divine leading and order)], led to their disqualification from anymore priesthood duties— henceforth (their lives were required of them— either in obedience in service to the Lord in the earth, or in their death upon disobedience to serve the Lord God— in sanctification, consecration, and dedication— as the Lord God had asked of them.

The old testament was wrought with examples of just how much man fell short (in many ways) unto the Lord God— via the law the Lord set forth; and just how precious it was that the Lord Jesus Christ came forward, obeyed the Father perfectly— and became our Savior through his accomplishment of serving the Father in his heart flawlessly (and as part of that— accomplished Calvary for us— in the remission of our sins, legally, forever and ever, amen).

Another example of defile is in the Strong’s definition for the Hebrew word chalal (H2490) which meant…

Hebrew: חלל Defile

Transliteration: châlal

Pronunciation: khaw-lal'

Definition: A primitive root (compare H2470); properly to bore— that is (by implication) to wound or to dissolve; figuratively to profane (a person, place or thing) to break (one’s word) to begin (as if by an opening-wedge); denominatively (from H2485) to play (the flute): to begin, defile, break, eat (as common things— not set apart for holiness), gather the grape, take inheritance, pipe player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (the self), prostitute, slay ({slain}), sorrow, stain, wound.

KJV Usage: begin (52x), profane (36x), pollute (23x), defile (9x), break (4x), wounded (3x), eat (2x), slay (2x), first (1x), gather grapes (1x), inheritance (1x), began men (1x), piped (1x), players (1x), prostitute (1x), sorrow (1x), stain (1x), eat as common things (1x).

Occurs: 141

In verses: 131

We can see that defilement (spiritually speaking) is a heart issue, and with this heart issue (state of being) comes consequences— especially in the old testament (prior life of God’s people, with God, before Jesus accomplished the Calvary in time and space).  In the New Testament— which is Christ Jesus— he completed total appeasement of the Father (total satisfaction) for all requirements of holiness (being totally set unto the Lord God and our Father, perfectly so), and he accomplished Calvary, perfected sonship, and made the way back into union with our Father— even ‘in’ our sins and trespasses.  For truly— the walk of sonship starts in being trained up in the way— by Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit now, after one comes into dedication to serve the Lord God within the heart (this is what we call introduction to our salvation in Christ Jesus— I call it ‘the handshake’ to which the ‘walk’ is birthed out from).  And now— when we come into union with Christ Jesus as sons and daughters through his life (meaning— like a womb— we enter into Christ Jesus— and are now reformed/born again— from out of his perfect life as he finishes his workmanship in us to be as he is now) —he takes us to the Jordan: we are baptized into his life (meaning— his life comes into us, and changes us, from/by his Holy Spirit— as we yield to the truth, his way/conduct/leading, and we are transformed from glory to glory [maturing more and more].

You see— our Lord and Savior ‘meets us’ IN the defiled heart— to transform it now, by his Holy Spirit— when we desire to live and abide in the Truth (him); and in this agreement to approach him again, with purpose, at the altar of the heart… We shall now, even, bring the strange fire that Aaron’s sons did— BUT— with the caveat now of ‘desiring to be changed from the old man— into the new man— in Christ Jesus.’  And thus— sons enter into sonship defiled— and as they progress through the Jordan (washing, the baptism of the Holy Spirit) they are sanctified and consecrated (baptized) in the Lord Jesus’ person— and dedicated to doing life with him, as he is (we are changed from state of lesser glory, to greater glory— as he raises up the children of God).

The story of the old testament (way and law) was harsh— no man could do it perfectly (with a clean and dedicated, obedient heart) toward the Father and his heavenly conduct (law).  BUT— Jesus, the Word of God comes into flesh, perfectly walks in obedience to the Father, perfectly dedicated (wholly/holy), and walks sanctified (clean in the conduct of godliness in his soul, washed/baptized in the truth/righteousness and obedience to righteousness— our Father) —in the flesh: and thus— when we return back ‘into him,’ symbolically, but truly— spiritually, we are then dedicated (we make vows to join— like marriage) to the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father— through the Holy Spirit we join to; and then as we do this handshake of verbal dedication— via our mouth confession— we shall begin to be washed/immersed/baptized in the Jordan (The Holy Spirit who bring us into all truth) of his righteousness and truth; as he comes forward to fulfill his works(manship) in us— whereby the Father raises us up in his way and form again (to be born again) —until he fully matures us as sons.

The sanctification of the Jordan comes in unto us— inwardly, as Christ reforms our spirit, soul (psuche— psyche), and heart (center innermost of us).   As he brings us forward— saving us to the uttermost (in spiritual essence, psyche of our faculties, and the place where spiritual essence and psyche meet [the heart]) —we come into full maturity— otherwise known as the full stature of Christ Jesus (the mature stature of the form of the Son of man we are being conformed back into): and thus— mature sons are born from the womb (interior union) of Christ Jesus.

The psyche— or soul— is very important to recover (hence soul rescue).  We often think only of the spirit; but truly it is our union with the Holy Spirit where our spirit-man-essence (that our soul or psyche shall walk out, our faculties as a living human being) comes forward to walk-out our living being in a body.  We are to be born again first in spirit essence— and then that spirit essence is to walk out our whole person, bodily, as by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus obeyed the Father and led Jesus Christ in all ways of his soul or psyche.  It is this union in the heart of man— where our spiritual essence that the Holy Spirit births anew in us when we are born anew in spirit— meets our psyche/faculties/soul, and then walks us out differently, in a new form (as like Jesus): and that— is your heart.  Jesus knows how to be in spiritual essence— as our Father is in true form— and bring that into a soul/psyche, and be led of the Spirit of God (of righteousness, love, and truth); and thus— do the same in us (if we are coming back into him, literally, spiritually joining him); for he shall rebirth us ‘from’ himself; and in this— fulfill his righteousness in us: our hearts will walk-out this spiritual rebirth brought to our souls/psyches —when we understand his salvation process/procedure in us— and we join to him in it (we call this the ‘yield’ to his Spirit, way, and life: truth lived within us now— as he conforms us/saves us to the uttermost).

Pneuma— refers to spirit, and Soma— refers to body, making the tripartite division (spirit, soul, body) distinct in Greek thought.  The Greek word for soul is ψυχή Psuche/Psyche (pronounced psy-khay or psuche): it refers to the soul, life, inner being, or breath, often signifying the essential person— rather than just a ‘suit’ or outer covering. The concept is derived from ψύχω (psycho), meaning ‘to blow’ or ‘breathe,’ —linking it to breath-life.

Psuche/Psyche— is used over 100 times in the New Testament to describe the soul-life, or inner self.  And this is why I have stated over and again— that the heart of man is where the psyche (soul) meets the pneuma (spirit and essence of) the living God once again (in union and surrender to be unified again) —and this union of the Spirit of the living God with our psyche/faculties in operation of our person— is the heart, altar, and union place of the Spirit of the living God (where our spirit essence joins his) brought into our faculties/psyche —that births out the new man in/from/of Christ Jesus— in dirt-suits/bodies (in heaven and earth— spirit and soul): the heart of man is an altar where we shall serve a Spirit or spirits (essence of conduct and law— either of God in righteousness, truth, and love— or devils in defilement, unrighteousness, and separation from love) —in the psyche of this man now (the soul)/the faculties in operation within this man where he thinks, reasons, aligns/affiliates with, judges and determines course of action, conduct behaved, and purpose of whom one serves— with a result of what is fruited out of this man’s life (evil or good— of the Father fulfilling his works and righteousness in us): the heart is the place our souls/psyche meets the living God in his true Spiritual form— and we conform— right there— as the Lord Jesus rebirths us bodily— as he is— in spirit-form, into our living souls/faculties/psyche.

The heart— where either defilement (that Jesus is coming after to wash us of, and change us from) exists, or righteousness, godliness, love, and truth exists; where the pneuma meets the psuche/psyche of man— and transforms his heart; and brings forth a whole new soma/body/sound-whole of us once again, as well.  Then shall we be in New Jerusalem (spiritually, which will lead us to this in the literal within the earth, where Christ shall reign, on earth— as it is/he is— in heaven); where Christ reigns in spirit/heaven, soul/earth, and body/temple; and his millennial reign in/upon the earth shall arrive.

He is bringing us INTO this knowledge/revelation NOW— because his plan/agenda/prophecy is unfolding; and soon enough— we shall see the shaking come forward that dislodges his people within from all that is not of him and his kingdom— to then abide only with him as he is; to come through this wilderness journey to accomplish the salvation refinement— maturing us in him, sanctifying us in him, and consecrating us in him; in order— to bring his millennial reign in among a people who are now ‘joined’ to him in spirit essence, living it in their faculties, and bodily walking it out— in the earth (the soul/psyche): when we begin to in mass, by far and large, come into this in the ‘church’ or called out ones; then shall we usher in his millennial reign— for he shall have a remnant of a people walking with him as he did/does with the Father in the earth; and we shall bring more into the very same: for truly in this— we understand the full gospel, goals and agenda, workmanship of the Lord Jesus —in the place of rebirth (in spirit and soul/psyche), psyche recovered (walking in the truth, righteousness, and love now), and the sound-whole of us (bodily walking, living, abiding in his word, truth, righteousness and love) is accomplished in the earth— as it is in heaven.

THIS— is his kingdom come: first ‘in a people,’ then ‘unto a people,’ who have yet to come in (a flock to join us), as well: and in this— we shall ‘see and accomplish’ the coming of the Son of man— to rule and reign, a thousand years (figuratively— a spiritual day with Jesus when he comes forth and reigns) in the earth; as he comes with those who died in him before us (came to him, were saved by him, and converted into his likeness and image again— spiritually) —to join us in a New Jerusalem, of a New People, in a New state of union with God— in the earth: the old will pass away (eventually, fully, no evil, no satan coming back after 1,000 years) and all shall ‘be’ new, and ‘remain’ new.  We are coming to taste of this— in time— upon the earth; but first— the process of tribulation, to give time and space to the process of salvation: sanctification, consecration, dedication, to join the living God once again— and be saved in spirit essence (union to his Spirit) again (reformed/rebirthed in righteousness, truth, and love) brought into our souls/psyches/faculties —to bring a WHOLE NEW MAN forward— in/of Christ Jesus and his workmanship (rebuild) within us; as he brings us into a full stature (born of him, as he is— we shall be), and brings forth a proper bride (people whose loyalty was to him, his way, his life, his truth— to be born and brought forth— in them).

Pneuma— new (spirit), Psuche/psyche— new (soul/faculties), now breathing (the breath of Holy Spirit in them— in love, truth, and righteousness), and Soma —new (bodily, sound-whole of us in a dirt-suit— consisting of spirit, soul, and heart— walked out— in the earth): now being a being/tabernacle/temple of the Holy-Living God— where he ‘breathes’ or moves and finds his ‘being’ —in us (breath-life, raised from the dead, and resurrected people— from death or estrangement— to life or union— as he is).  And this union in pneuma and psuche/psyche —leads us (when in rebirth and union in spirit and soul) to the Heart: Kardia— the place of the thoughts of, and feelings of, the mind, the middle of (us): and this is why the Lord says the ‘heart of man has thoughts and intentions of its own,’ and why he desires to cleanse our hearts from all forms of evil (not as he is).

When spirit, then soul/faculties/psyche is recovered— then shall the heart be cleansed, and living and abiding in His form again (what he walked out bodily), in the truth, his righteousness, and his love: and then— the sound-whole of us (bodily) we shall be living in heaven (spirit) with him as he is, in earth (psyche/soul) as he is, and walk and abide in his Spirit, righteousness, truth, love, and kingdom— in the earth: HIS KINGDOM COME— first in us, then unto us— ALL.

Acts 17:28

“For —in him— we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said— For we are also his offspring.”

So… what we see in Leviticus— is the old testament and law, or ordinances— outwardly conducted (but inwardly obeyed).  In the New Testament— which means, the union with Christ Jesus— we walk according to his lead (spiritually, by his Spirit, in our souls/psyche/faculties— which walks us out bodily); and we do that first— in the heart, getting cleaned up in spirit and soul operations in us, getting ironed out, getting that clean and purified heart relationship with the Lord— whereby we are now sanctified, consecrated, and obedient to the Lord God from WITHIN) —before any operations are carried out physically.  This was what Aaron’s son's failure (and truthfully— even Aaron himself lacked at times, and resulted in his demise, bodily, because his demise/perishing was still happening in his heart [spirit and soul union place/faculties of a man]).  But now, in Christ Jesus, given to him in heart union (spirit and soul) we can now be transformed in our hearts: thoughts, minds, faculties, operations of our inner person in ways, behavior, structure internal, in our reasoning, principles, conduct of righteous law lived in (the truth and love) —BECAUSE the gift of eternal salvation has been given unto us: Jesus Christ— and union with (reverently, of course) the One True God and Father of us.

_____

Now— in Leviticus Moses was told by the Lord to tell Aaron NOT to enter into the holy place— AT ALL— within the veil (at this time), where the Mercy Seat is at the Ark of the Covenant; because if he does— he’ll die.  Why?  I reckon— the state of his inner man (as like his sons), was in defilement— in the Lord’s eyes.  For the Lord said I will come in the cloud and appear upon the Mercy Seat.

The Mercy Seat is what I call the place of marriage union— where our God meets with us in a sanctified and consecrated heart.  And that does not mean we are perfect— but that we are authentic, honest, and respectful.  And we go there to meet with him— to come into the Jordan (the washing of us via the Holy Spirit, the river from the throne of God, living waters); so that eventually— we shall from this dedication and consecration (and washing in/by the Word and his Spirit), we then can carry out our cross: self denial— Christ oriented now, darkness ridding— Light come, path straightened out— perversion rectified(ing), righteousness resumes— out from corruption, Life is now lived in the true form— out from death and estrangement— or twisted form, form is changed— through rebirth in spirit and soul (heart).  And in this reconciliation— this reunification to the form of our Father, in loyalty to him as we join to him, literally in our spirit form/essence— walked out in our souls— as he matures us in his Spirit and Person; becomes the first resurrection and consummation— right here, in earth (soul), as he did— done again in us— through his very Holy Spirit duplicating what was done in Christ Jesus (maturely) in us: more sons born after Him.

Romans 8:29

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

Hebrews 2:11

“For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.”

1 Corinthians 15:49

"And as we have borne the image of the earthly (man of dust— Adam), so also shall we bear the image of the heavenly (the man Christ Jesus— becoming a living spirit [the Spirit of God, now Christ who lives in us— in our souls {a ‘living’ Spirit, not dead or estranged})."

2 Corinthians 3:18

"But we all, with open face [G343: reversal— to unveil, take away (meaning— by a reversal process, through the veil being removed— like a bride before the face of her groom— as she beholds him and not herself— for that is taken away, the former done away with, behold the new)] —beholding— as in a glass (when the veil of separation is removed in Christ Jesus) —the glory of the Lord… we are changedinto the same image… from glory to glory— as by the Spirit of the Lord."

1 John 3:2

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (beholding him openly, no veil, as a bride adorned for looking at her bride groom)."

  • Has he appeared unto us, individually, and revealed himself of his Spirit to our souls?  For then— as we come forth as a bride unto her bridegroom— behold him as he is— THEN— SHALL WE BE CHANGED INTO HIS FORM AS HE IS— from glory to glory (and that is to be NOW: in heaven [spirit] and earth [soul/psyche], in the hearts (where both meet) of men.

John 1:12-13

“But as many as received him, to them— he gave power to become —the sons of God, to them that believe on his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh (nature or literal lineage), nor of the will of man— but of God.”

  • We ‘receive him’ first— the handshake… then he ‘empowers us’ by his Spirit (we are not of those who deny the power, having a type of godliness, but living the lie/falsehood/unconversion) ‘to become’ the sons of God.  There is a transformation (born, a person rebirthed) in spirit and soul— not of earthly lineage or of the flesh nature— but of God, by his hand, as we receive him in offer/gift/Jesus, reverence, and obedience to his Spirit, as his Spirit then by power reforms us in our structure and affiliation (spiritually), not by our will or might— but by his Spirit of God.  And he desires we would understand the fullness of what he has accomplished in his own life and Sacrifice— that we would receive him in it, and join his Spirit in the conversion to reform us internally— as we yield to him, bringing us into the truth— that washes us and makes us free/liberated— from sin and death.

And when we come into all of that, his dream, mission, goal, and workmanship… Then shall we become sacrificial ones (this is us— in the maturity), be sent forth unto the rest— and bring them into the revelation of all of this; so they too can enter in… and abide in his truth with him, as he is, and forevermore.  Amen.

Galatians 4:6

“And because you are sons— God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying— Abba, Father.”

  • The Lord Jesus, and the Father— sends the Spirit of his Son (Jesus)  into us, in our hearts (spirit and soul meeting place) —crying inside of us to our heavenly Father, Abba; which means— we speak out to him now, to commune with, learn of, rejoin, and obey/listen to and heed.

1 Peter 1:3-5

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who— according to his abundant mercy— has begotten us again [G313: begat— or birthed again] —unto a living hope [G1680: anticipation with pleasure, an expectation with confidence] by the resurrection [G386: standing up from death to recovery of life— in spiritual truth morally, raised to life again from the dead] of Jesus Christ from the dead [G3498: literal or figurative death (or estrangement)] —to an inheritance [G2817: heirship of patrimony (a parent) to possess] incorruptible [G862: undecaying— in essence and continuance, not mortal], and undefiled [G283: unsoiled, pure], and that fades not away [G263: is perpetual— eternal], reserved [G5083: watched over, guarded, kept— like a fortress of military lines, fulfilled, maintained, and kept married, hold fast to] in heaven [G3722: the abode of God, eternity, the elevation] for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith [G4102: our moral conviction, what we profess in our credence, in true religion kept— in his teaching, reliance upon him and the truth itself— with fidelity and belief unto him] —unto salvation [G4991: our rescue, brought into safety, delivered morally or physically, our health] ready to be revealed [G601: uncovered {veil taken away, like a bride before her groom} —take off the cover, and disclose or reveal] —in the last [G2078: farthest, final, latter, uttermost] time [G2540: proper time, opportunity, season, due time].”

  • Now— if we read this superficially (from the carnal mind, or immature mind of spirit in our souls) we will only think of the literal of all of this— like, a some day we shall be transformed and translated; but truly the spiritual is here now, even the Spirit is here now, to transform us and translate us— change us and move us about— in the New Man (Christ Jesus) in our very vessels.

Let’s break this down:  He desires to rebirth us (beget) into a living hope— or anticipation and expectation in confidence of resurrection; otherwise known as— to be stood up within again from death to life (truth, morals) again of Jesus Christ.  ‘Of Jesus Christ,’ if superficially examined— would be, well, his body was raised from death to life.  But in spiritual truth and understanding— his faculties were raised into the elevation (heaven with the Father) first, then his soul (pure heart union with the Father in obedience); then he came forth and TOOK ON ALL OF US… leading him ‘into death,’ as he carried our sins and penalties of (like a scapegoat, truly, in and of the wilderness with God’s people). But he did not deserve death— so as he returned to the Father, we, in him, shall return to the Father (ascend and rejoin); and our Father through Jesus— brings us back into whole, reformed, sanctified and consecrated union again— bringing us, within, internally and spiritually— into life resurrected (out of death or estrangement): this is the first resurrection within… brought out and about as we walk this resurrection out— as it is now Christ in us who lives, moves, and finds his being— for we have been found in him, moving, and being.

And as he does this— we come into spiritual inheritance, through Jesus being the Only Begotten (who we shall be born from) in patrimony (parentage) of the Father union— and now is possessed of the Father.  And what Jesus has is brought into us— as we yield to him and come back into union in our proper form— of his own workmanship in us (his own works— those of the Father).  He did say— He is our inheritance, and we are his.  He took us on first in this covenant— in our filth; and we are to make ourselves readied for him— internally in our conversion; and hence he shall transfigure us and translate us… change us and walk us out— in heaven and earth (spirit, and realm of) and soul (and realm of— which is the earth): all in one temple— our bodies.

And this inheritance is an undecaying one— no longer in mortality of a state of death ‘lived,’ if you will; but one of an essence of continuity and continuance— immortal (or that cannot be killed, destroyed, or separated from); that is unsoiled— pure, not carnal now— but spiritual.  And this inheritance— what we shall become and live as with him forevermore— shall always be, from hence forth.  And this union and inheritance— it is watched over, guarded, kept— like a fortress with military lines drawn (in the spirit); and it is fulfilled, then maintained, and kept married— as we hold fast to our confession/profession of Christ Jesus in pneuma (spirit) and psuche/psyche (soul) —in our soma, or bodily.

The end result is not spiritual heaven alone— but the eternal dwelling place of God— in the earth, or bodies of men upon what ‘we call’ the world/earth (from the soil in which we were taken of).

We shall forever dwell in the abode of God— and he within us; the ascension, the elevation, ongoing life existence (eternity) —as we are kept by the power of God— through our faith, or our— moral conviction, as we profess this in our credence, and carry it out in our souls as we live real religion— keeping to his teaching, reliance upon him to lead us, the truth itself— and remain faithful to our covenant with him.

And that is our salvation— our rescue as we are brought into safety morally and physically— into health, and are revealed: uncovered, veil taken away (all shall see us as we are— like a bride adorned for her husband), disclosed (brought forth) and revealed.

And this shall take place in the farthest reaches (not just of time, but in a man’s conversion process of salvation), in the latter, the uttermost, the final (or maturity), in the proper timing, opportunity, season, and due time.  As the Lord transforms us— he saves us.  As the Lord reconciles us— he transforms us.  As he transforms us— then shall he translate us— move us about in the ascension: and men of the earth shall see us as we are— ON THE INSIDE UNTO OUR LORD GOD, IN ALL HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO WORK(manship) OUT.

Folks— all I did was retell you the verses above in 1 Peter 1:3-5 with spiritual understanding and application.  I am not concerned about Christ coming ‘literally’ into this world to be seen with physical sight.  I am bound to— like a bride to her husband in spiritual vows— to desire for the Lord, our Groom, Father, and Savior, the Lover of our souls (psyches) to be observed SPIRITUALLY— within man; so as man shall be saved, resurrected, and walked out in manifestation of the Lord God in his glory— IN US: the true salvation and resurrection of a man— unto, and by, his God once again!!

Salvation has come to us— when we realize Christ has come unto us already— and we can ‘join him’ in all that he is; and we can be reformed (reunified) by his hand— as we behold him— and are returned to his glory, little by little, line by line, precept by precept (or teaching by teaching) as we yoke to him in spiritual marriage— and learn of him, as our Husband.

Aaron and his sons were to bring forth— sacrifice and offering; in the old testament (and superficially) this meant literal animal sacrifices of goats or sheep and bulls (mostly), as sin offerings and burnt offerings.

But truly— the sin offering was to atone for the sin of the people; and the burnt offering— in worship to the Lord.  The sin offering was a mandatory sacrifice to atone for specific sins and purify the sanctuary (think spiritually now, in us), whereas the burnt offering was generally a voluntary act of worship (think spiritually, now, in us) symbolizing total dedication and surrender to God (the sanctification, consecration aspect within us now).

In a burnt offering in the old testament— the entire animal was consumed by fire on the altar (as our beast or flesh nature ought to be, now, spiritually). In a sin offering— only the fat was burned on the altar, while the rest was either eaten by the priests or burned outside the camp.  This is interesting to me— the priests— who intercede for wayward men— must eat the sin of the people (what was not the fat of the sin offering), and/or like, carry their burden to some degree as intercessors (I understand this quite well, actually, in the Order of Melchizedek) —as their altars are of strange fire still (the people of the church by far and large— for we have misunderstood the salvation of our Lord Jesus, his mission, way, and conversion process— of the full gospel).  OR— it was to be taken ‘outside the camp’ (the place we live and abide) —and burned there.  Now that is QUITE interesting to me— as I think of the Lake of Fire after the judgment of Christ Jesus— to those who are not found in the book of the Lamb (in his life, for the book— is his life, and all those birthed of/within/from him).

The sin offering was compulsory (mandatory), while the burnt offering was generally voluntary (though it was used in purification ceremonies).

Can we see that we are required to deal with sin… first that God did and does in Christ Jesus, then via obedience and reverence to his Spirit now— being washed in the truth and brought up in his righteousness (clean and ironed out) as it’s mandatory (spiritually speaking)?  But our worship to the Lord God (as a burnt offering) is voluntary (meaning— it takes our participation in reverence and yield) —and is a part of the purification of a man, ceremonially.  And this is why I say— We are to walk in the Fire of God now, being refined, yielding in a softness to his Spirit, way, and truth— to become the sons of God (in spirit, soul, and heart) —so as to not have strange fire upon the altar anymore (strange spiritual essence), but to move by him as we join his Spirit now in marriage— carried out in the psyche/faculties of our living souls: this is purification, ceremonially.  And it is what Aaron and his sons were failing at… But that we are to learn from, as our Lord reveals the truth to us— spiritually; that we would be a type of first fruits— born from Jesus, following after him— as we yield to him and learn of him: now living spirits (for we have been purified in our hearts— spirit and souls/psyches; and we are now being walked out (transformed and translated— to walk in the ascension) IN BODY (forever the new earth, perpetually, ongoing, New Jerusalem, New Law, New Testament— in Christ Jesus, and New Man come forward— Christ in us.

The sin offering in the old testament is now represented in the life of Jesus Christ— as he took on sin (of us), as the burnt offering in Jesus Christ represents his perfect life and complete obedience to the Father— that he will birth out in us— in a full stature of himself (sons of God raised up into maturity) in the earth, in heaven, in all of creation (fully reconciled).

In Leviticus 16 we hear of one of the sacrifices and offerings that was made —was by scapegoat (which means— a goat of departure, or a sacrifice of departure [did not Christ do this for us?].  In the biblical old testament custom and process in the tabernacle at the altar— was of 2 goats; one goat is sacrificed to Yahweh (in worship), while the other—the goat that escapes, or the scapegoat—is sent away into the desert: symbolizing the complete removal of the community's sin.

Hmmm… I understand the Lord speaks spiritually to us in parables and symbolism— and this is no different.  The Lamb— is not a literal lamb— but a person, a flesh body of a human being— that was sacrificed as an offering to the Lord God— on behalf of all of humanity in their sin and death.  And if we understand this (and I am not saying he cannot re-present himself looking like a lamb, lion, or eagle— I am saying— he is a person who describes himself in parabolic language— pictures with emphasis)... We then shall understand that the scapegoat symbolism and image is no different.

Jesus came as the Lamb— to offer himself a perfect sacrifice for us all, amen, hallelujah!!  But, also, he carried our sins upon him— into the wilderness/desert— where the haunt of devils was/is, where the estrangement is (as the wilderness and desert, symbolically reference this).  And in this— he appeased the Lord our Father, he fulfilled, he took upon him what was our sin (as a scapegoat does), and he entered into death for us— never tasting of sin (estrangement from the Father or his righteousness); which made him the perfect offering AND sacrifice: which was BOTH goats (symbolically) in Leviticus chapter 16.

He did what NO ONE ELSE COULD: he carried our sins— he himself never sinning, and took those into estrangement, bringing us back into union with the holy, living, God of righteousness, truth, and love; and he was perfectly in worship to the Father and Spirit of God— in his life: both offerings accomplished in one person.

Leviticus 16:8-10

“And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats (offerings/sacrifices); one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat (offering/sacrifice) . And Aaron shall bring the goat (offering/sacrifice) upon which the Lord's lot fell— and offer him for a sin offering. But the goat (offering/sacrifice), on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat— shall be presented alive— before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go— for a scapegoat (offering/sacrifice) —into the wilderness.”

Did he not do all of this for us??  He was the offering— to the Father, the sacrifice— to us, gathering up BOTH LOTS (or portions) to himself (in Christ Jesus), both of sin offering and worship to the Father offering… where he went into the wilderness, was tempted of the devil (for us)... and triumphed in the Father and Spirit— OVER THE FALSEHOOD/TWISTING/SERPENT/DEVIL/LIES/OTHER KINGDOM… and he prevailed taking us all with him: and thus— he is with us in the wilderness— until we emerge triumphant with/within him— as well.  And Aaron— was a foreshadowing of the High Priest— that would take care of ALL ROLES AND POSITIONS, ALLOTMENTS, AND DUTIES— flawlessly so: as the high Priest of our confession/profession— Jesus Christ, YahShua Ha Mashiach— the Lamb, our leader/head in the Order of our priesthood (Melchizedek— of the Righteous King).

The Old Testament symbolism, first literally told— then spiritual understood: Leviticus 16

The goat (offering and sacrifice) for the sin offering— whose blood was sprinkled on the altar— at the place of the Mercy Seat (the place of joining); and this shall make atonement for the transgression of the people of Israel (those called and chosen of the Lord God); and this shall make atonement for the ‘holy place’ because of the uncleanness of the children and their trespass; and no man who goes in to the tabernacle of the Lord— shall come out— until he has made the atonement (at-one-ment offered) for himself— and/or his household.  The blood of the sacrifice upon the altar (mercy seat) and upon the horns of the altar (where one grips to the union/ark/relationship); and 7 times (the number of Divine Presence and Perfection/wholeness/maturity), by his finger (the high priest) shall the blood be sprinkled (applied) to cleanse and hallow the children of Israel from uncleanness.

Then, when this is accomplished— the living scapegoat is brought forward— and the high priest (Aaron) shall lay his hand upon the head of the live sacrifice and offering (goat), confess over him— all the iniquities of the children of Israel, all their transgressions, in all their sin— putting them upon the head of the living sacrifice and offering; and shall send him away, by the hand of a fit man, into the wilderness.  And the living goat (sacrifice and offering) shall bear upon him— all their iniquities— unto a land not inhabited; and he shall let go of the goat into the wilderness.

And then the high priest shall go into the tabernacle again— take off his garments of linen— which he had on when he went into the holy place; and shall come forth of the sin offering and the burnt offering— and make atonement for the people (at-one-ment).  And the one who took the offering and sacrifice (scapegoat) into the wilderness —shall bathe his flesh, and afterward— come into the encampment (tents, bands, armies, host and company of).

They shall burn in the fire— their skins, flesh, and dung.  And he that burneth them— shall wash clothes, bathe flesh, and afterward— come and encamp.  And this shall be a statute forever.  For on that Day— the priest makes atonement for you— to cleanse you that ye may be clean from all your sins— before the Lord: this shall be a sabbath of rest to you.  Priests shall be anointed and consecrated to minister in his father’s stead— and shall put on the linen clothing— holy garments, and the high Priest shall make the at-one-ment (meet the atonement) in the holy sanctuary— for the tabernacle, the altar, the priests, and for all the people of the congregation: and this shall be an everlasting statute unto you to make atonement for the children of Israel— for all their sins, once a year: and he did as the Lord commanded.

Ok…. let’s write this all out in spiritual understanding, clearly, now…

Spiritually in Christ Jesus— Leviticus 16

As we look at Leviticus 16 through the lens of the foreshadowing of Christ Jesus (the Lamb) we see that he is the offering of both animals.  It was his blood forever sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat for the atonement of man unto his God again (to make at-one with him a reality again)... for the people of Israel in their uncleanness and transgressing the Lord (in his way, truth, righteousness, love, and spiritual law conduct and fruits of).

And in this reconciliation (rejoining) with and through Christ Jesus ‘as’ the Offering and Sacrifice— the holy place (the heart) is cleansed, the garments changed (the new man comes forth), the sin is taken into estrangement (death to sin and that law); and no man comes out of the tabernacling with the Lord— until the at-one-ment for him and his house (whom we serve this day, reference to Joshua 24:15) —vessel (spirit, soul, heart).  By the Blood of the Sacrifice having been laid upon the altar— and the place where one grips the union/ark/relationship— at the Mercy Seat (marriage union place).  And the perfection (wholeness, maturity, completeness) by God’s Divine Presence comes forward to be joined— BY HIS FINGER (the High Priest in us) to cleanse, hallow (make holy, sanctified and consecrated, dedicated unto the Lord God and his kingdom) —from uncleanness.

The Lord, the Living (not dead in estrangements of the Father or Kingdom) Sacrifice and Offering comes forward (Jesus), and the High Priest— who has had the sins of the people placed upon the Sacrifice and Offering (himself, in this case), being placed upon him in confession— all the iniquities of the children of Israel, all their transgressions and sin— upon his head (life); is then sent forth— into the wilderness— to be tempted of the devil— but victoriously emerges as the Son of God in his resolve to serve the Most High God and his kingdom— not his own, a fit man— sent to the land not inhabited (that is in us, where it is dry places until his Spirit and living waters comes unto/into us; where he conquers sin and death— for he is the fullness of the Godhead— bodily [in and unto us now, as well]).

The high Priest goes into the tabernacle AGAIN— which is ‘into’ us (after he finishes his own bodily life); where he took off his garments of linen (becomes bare, like born anew, naked, changing us within— as we behold him as he is, no veil, no separation— with clarity and truth, to now dress us in his righteous robe); that he removed and left for us— at his tomb burial (symbolically) —as he was in the holy place with God the Father and Spirit union; he now comes into us to robe us in his righteousness— and fulfill (mature) it in us.  The High Priest, the Fit Man (there is only one good— and that is God) shall bathe his flesh (that’s us now, the tabernacle of God is with men now), and afterward— come home, or bring home (camp, tents, bands and armies of people— a host and company with him): as he ascended after his death and burial— putting off of the old, resurrected in the new— clothed anew in glory (having dealt with sin and death), as he ascended back home to heaven and the Father; he now lives within us— to clothe us in he himself, as he is.

These shall burn their skins, flesh (nature) and dung (I think we hear the spiritual reference to carrying crap inside) —in the Fires of God’s reformation and refinement process— producing ‘pure’ Gold, Silver, and Bronze (if you will, no longer hay, stubble, or straw— speaking of idolatry and whoredoms); and shall wash the clothes (robes, which has to do with the souls of men in their spiritual essence) of the people— and bring them home/rescue/at-one-ment and resting (positioned) there (encampment— tents, bands, tabernacling— as an army of people— a host and company, or kingdom).

And this shall stand as a statute forever— in Christ Jesus; for on the Day he fulfilled Calvary— and walks now as the Lamb (both goats/sacrifices/offerings referenced in here), the High Priest makes atonement for us, to cleanse us, that we should be cleansed from all sins— before the Lord’s face.  And THAT— is an eternal sabbath unto us of rest.  More priests shall be anointed— by him (in the order of Melchizedek), and consecrated to minister in his Father’s stead (our Father working his person/works through us); and these shall put on white linen clothing (robes of righteousness), holy garments— as the High Priest makes the at-one-ment with them— meeting at the Mercy Seat— where Christ is enthroned in them (the hearts of men, where spirit and soul, spiritual essence and psyche of man meet the living God) —bringing about a holy sanctuary now: for the tabernacle, altar, priests, and all the people of the congregation— have come into Christ Jesus— and lives, moves, and finds his ‘being’ in them.  And this shall be an everlasting statute (which means an eternal standing set up— as that is the root definition of statute) whereby atonement was made for the children of Israel— the people of the One True God and Father of us— ONCE, AND FOR ALL— as Jesus obeyed all that was commanded of him.  The end, and AMEN!

Folks— that was just Leviticus 16 read through the lens of the Holy Spirit, and unto the foreshadowing of Jesus Christ coming forward— to bring us into the spiritual now lived out in our souls— whereby the old testament painted the picture of the BETTER that was to come: Jesus Christ, and our way home to our Father, and the process by which we come back, and ascend into the spiritual life (ascension of heaven lived) with, through, and upon— the Son of Man (Christ Jesus, our Messiah and Savior) —even in our souls (all faculties of our living being, in dirt-suit life, bodily).

_____

There is a process, a procedure— to rescuing us fully and completely, its a kingdom of Order, the Lord God’s kingdom in the ascension (heaven/spirit); and with all things— the maturity (even in, and especially in Jesus) comes forward first— then we live as living sacrifices; whereby we even follow him after resurrection and ascension— to lay our lives down to the rest of the flock— as that they should follow us into the gospel of peace in full— as well; and come into that eternal rest (placement) in the atonement, and take a true sabbath in Christ Jesus, spiritually, and even in the souls of men.

We ‘become’ living sacrifices— when He who is the Living Sacrifice and Offering— stands up (this is resurrection) in a people, who shall, like he did— lay their lives down to the Father and his kingdom reign within them, first, and then secondly— to the people— as Jesus exemplified.  The ways in which this takes place is vast and varied— but sacrificial, carrying our brother’s burden, just as Jesus exemplified.  For truly— when we are born anew of him— we shall go where the Lamb goes, and do as the Lamb does, and lay our lives down to the Father and his kingdom (which is a people, and a culture of): these are the 144,000, symbolically (12 x 12 = fully governed of God in perfection, or maturity, wholly), these are the sons who do manifest his person and Spirit, truth, law (spiritual), life, and way— fruiting it out, and bringing others into the truth— as they watch, learn, eat of the spiritual food of truth, as they observe and learn of these.  And in that— many more are born after him— as these, like he, lay their lives down to carry the burden of the people (in any way he asks of them, even bodily— ask him about that sacrifice in the wilderness, for some carry others, spiritually, literally, until they ‘come through’): living sacrifices (meaning— spirits in men that are alive and as Christ is, in their union to him— alive in righteousness, truth and love as a conduct/law within them again, written on their hearts— spirits and psyches), as Jesus exemplified to us all— of the Order of Melchizedek, the way of the salvation, the process, and the call.

I hope we understand, once again, a little more clearly— what we are ‘called to,’ into, and unto: for truly— the greatest story ever told— is the love story of God unto his people— and the offering and sacrifice to give us unity with him again, forever, as he is: for he loves us THAT MUCH.
